Awesome place to take the boat out during the summer. A buddy and I went out there for a few hours today and had a blast. The views you get are breath taking, the water at times was a little choppy. Beautiful homes right on the lake, kids are out on the jet-skis and plenty of fish to go for too. I definitely recommend coming out here for a day trip or even come down for a weekend, as they do have a designated camping area. Definitely coming back.
Despite peoples' warnings about kayaking out to the middle of Harding Lake, I did it on a number of occasions and had a blast. It was always calm and never scary. It was so beautiful and peaceful out there. The water is crystal clear and the fishing is excellent. I wish I was there right now. I am living once again in the lower 48, but I LOVED Harding Lake. And I know that you will too. I guarantee it!
