If you want cooperate world flashy, pushy, overpriced services, this is the wrong place. Howard Tire is family owned and operated! They treat you like family and give you great service at fair prices!! I drove 45 miles to do business with them and it was worth it! Highly recommended!
The most expensive tow experience I’ve ever seen! The guy was 20 minutes late arriving to the location and time we set the day prior and then charged $7 per mile round trip. ($400 to take the vehicle 20 minutes away) called to discuss the price and the lady who answered the phone laughed at me and was rude.
While inspecting a house for work in rural Columbiana, AL, we got stuck in the front yard trying to drive around back. We called Howard Tire and they were there in 15 minutes, just like they said!! They winched us out and we got on our way. I would recommend Howard Tire Service for your towing needs!
Ricky and the staff at Howard Tire Service deserve six stars (but that’s not available)! When my mother-in-law suffered a flat tire on a busy county road, Howard Tire Service not only called her to reassure they were on their way, they called me to keep me updated on their progress. They had her tire fixed within 20 minutes! More importantly, they made her feel confident that everything was going to be OK, and took extra time to assure me my family was OK. I tryed to get 5 mechanic shops to look at my car today. They said can't for a week. Howards said sure we will. Put it on the pressure machine found out the radiator cap spring was bad. Instead of charging me a lot they charged me $20 pressure test I went O'Reilly's for a new cap. Total $30 instead of a new water pump. I will be using them for ever and telling me friends
Bought 2 tires from Howard tire in columbiana, they were very helpful they ordered and received my tires in around 3 hours then I went back to their shop so they could mount and balance my new tires. They told me to take my truck to the furthest shop work bay. Then I could wait in their waiting room on their very comfortable couch. When they realized I only have one leg they quickly offered to have one of their helpers drive my truck back so I wouldn't have to walk so far. Very friendly and helpful.. I offered to go ahead and pay twice and the secretary said no just wait till they are finished. So I sat there and when they were done she let me pay and handed me the receipts. After I got home I looked at the receipt and it said very plainly right on the receipt ,,, "Price for cash $ 286.81,,,, price if credit or debt card is used $296.81.... so they charged me $10.00 for using my debt card without mentioning it to me. Didnt let me pay before so i couldnt sit there and notice the 10$ fee before i left.. In the hour or so that I sat there waiting 5 people paid their bills with cards . So they made $60 for their $10 card fee in just the hour I was there quite the extra income... so I recommend Howard tire for their work and product, but if you want to save $10 you should go the bank atm and get cash before you get your tires. By the way my bank is less than 2 miles from Howard tires shop. I would have gladly drove there to save 10$ with no atm fee because being an amputee living on a very meager monthly disability every dollar counts...
Great service. Ordered a set of tires after discussing what I was looking for in terms of ride quality and tread design with Johnny. Tires came in the following day, and was in and out in short order after mount, balance, and alignment. The prices are competitive with anyone else in the industry. They have a wide assortment of brands and tread style to suit any need. Most importantly, it's great to deal with a long standing family business rather than an impersonal chain store.

Got in a head on collision while visiting from Florida. Didn’t think to get some stuff from my car before it got towed. Someone met me there on Sunday at 7:00pm so I could get it before I headed home Monday. All on Memorial Day weekend. Very kind and I am thankful!
Wonderful service! I had issues with my battery. They were friendly and worked me in immediately. Job was completed in 20 minutes and the price was very fair. Much less than quoted by dealership. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend Howard Tire Service! My highest mark for them is their honesty!! These are NOT folks that will rip you off. They can be trusted to do what is necessary to your automobile so that you're safe and back on the road worry free. Now, I know that s*** happens to cars and trucks, hey they break down, get flats, whatever, things happen and mechanics aren't perfect just like doctors aren't. But, if I want my auto and my friend's autos to get done right I go to and recommend Howard's because they are about as perfect as you're going to get when it comes to fixing your car or truck! A 5-Star business and a 5-Star Staff!!
I needed to get a trailer tire mounted on a rim. A local shop said the tire was more heavy duty than they would feel comfortable mounting. They also said they couldn't guarantee it would be done within a few days. They recommended Howard Tire. I was happy they did. The technician at Howard was able to mount the tire in no time. They even unloaded and loaded it into the back of my truck for me!

Great folks! Have helped me several times, including today with roadside service for a flat tire. After contacting my service carrier, they were there in less than 10 minutes and got me going with my spare in no time. Will certainly give them first consideration for new tires.
Brought my vehicle in for a alternator swap seen it done before talk about an hour and 20 minutes. I got here at 10 came back at 12 and the woman working the desk told me it would still be another 30 to 45 minutes.
3 hours for a alternator swap? I don't think so I'm very disappointed and not a satisfied customer.
This place charged me $60 dollars just to balance 4 tires that I carried in. Person who balanced my wheels had no idea what he was doing! Wasted numerous stick on weights which they obviously charged me for. Overall horrible experience I would have given them zero stars but as you all know lowest rating you can give is 1 star
