If you have a load coming here don’t come.. this place is the worst recycling place I’ve ever been to.. other places you are in & out. Here you will be sitting. Even if you have an appointment. Employees here are probably some of the laziest & incompetent individuals I have came across. Two plus hours to unload a truck of bails?? They take their time no matter what. This place is a disaster.
I seen the reviews and I thought they was lying but here I am sitting while it's a dock door open but they don't want nobody on it plus the truck that's on the dock been sitting on the dock for hr and change...glad I got me something to eat
Worst Place I Have Ever Been Too And Federal Recycling In Columbus Ga. I Got Here 30min Before They Opened Up And It Still Took Them 3 Hours To Get Me Out Of Here. The Laziest People I Have Ever Seen. I Need To Call ICE Or President Donald Trump To Come By Here And Investigate This Place ASAP!!
I inform for those who are planning to disarm here. The way to this place is ideal, the loading unloading office is very professional and fast. But unloading and waiting is just torture. Unloading priorities are set incorrectly, they unload what is standing, and drivers who arrive and already have other cargo put it last. I do not advise unloading in this place. A huge minus to the owner of the company for organizing
terrible place to load. Came here to load, had a 12-1pm CST appointment time, arrived at 10:45am CST and didn't bump the dock till 3:40 pm CST. Wasn't loaded till right before quitting time which was 4:30 CST. idk what their issue was, stated I was a "work in" even though I had an appointment time. While the entire time they let other trucks come in and out to load. The man who was "in charge of shipping"(if you want to call him that) stated i'd be the next truck in dock, 5 came in and out since he said that. All he said after sitting there all day was "well hope this doesn't happen a second time". Its a joke that these people hold a truck all day just to say they hope it doesn't happen again. Add this to the list of places not to load!!!!!
Great place to get loads from. Everyone from office check in to yard & dock workers are nice & helpful. Pull to gate, park & check in at office to right. Once in the yard weight in (Tandems all way forward to fit on scale) then bump dock for loading. Once loaded back to scale & get the BOL. No Overnight parking.
Shipping and Receiving starts at 0700. Stop at gate, and check in at the bldg to your right. You will have to scale twice, coming in and empty, make sure your tandems are all the way up so your rig fits on scale. Just enough room to maneuver.
When coming here, directions took me on wrong side of the highway.
When it tells you to make a left, turn right..
You'll see a grey building on left.
Gate will be closed and you check in before gate will open.
It's tight turning on scale but go on scale and over run it to get lined up.
Just take your time.
From Cullman rd/69 make a left on 3rd St by the tire shop, turn right at the church, turn left at the do not enter sign. Will be a red brick building with two docks on left hand side. Quick unload, but make sure you swing wide ?.
No overnight parking. Parking lot is muddy an nasty but people are nice. They arent so fast at unloading either. Got here at 8:30am empty at 11am Iv been to worser.
AR recycling dock is at 2 st like address says. From cullman rd/69 you can make a left turn only onto 2nd st nw. If it is on your right you will have to turn around at 3rd st corner and come back to turn left. Their dock is along side street. There might be other ways to get here but I did not go around trying them out lol. good luck with the exit strategy also, roads are very narrow and drainage ditches are very deep, whatch your tires real good.
