I took my car here to fix an oil leak. After they worked on it, my car started having worse issues. I was then told I needed a new motor, but other mechanics have said that isn’t true. He also didn’t tell me about this until after I had already paid. When I asked about the situation, I was not offered a refund or resolution. I would recommend getting a second opinion before having major work done here. If you a female please bring someone with u who knows a lil about cars cause I got scammed so bad I now have no car.
Been going to these guy for all my service for over 25 years. They kept my last vehicle on the road for almost 300,000 miles.

I wish I known about this place earlier. I came in to get work done on my tires, however I will definitely be back for all of my other needs such as oil changes. They are honest and fair. I felt at ease being at this establishment.
Friendly and competent personnel. Helped me out of a bind and when product sold was not quite right, they replaced it no charge and relatively quick with no hassle. Good qualities in local auto repair shop 👍
Received some poor customer service this morning. I walked into the establishment and was not greeted before I asked if there was anyone that could put air in my tire. I was told that “ you’re going to have to come back because the guy is putting six tires on and I’m not going to stop him from what he’s doing just to put air in your tire.” I thanked the man before going on my way and was able to ask one of the mechanics outside where I could go to put air in my tire as I am not from this area. Kindness goes a long way and I understand employees being busy. I hope whoever the employee was that I spoke with this morning tries to be a little kinder to customers.

Each trip to Thrower's has been good. I say what I need, get quoted fair prices, vehicle serviced in a reasonable time window, and I've never been disappointed. Bushings and ball joints next😁
Can’t recommend Thrower’s enough. The staff here is incredibly kind. They made me feel comfortable while I waited for a repair as an out-of-towner. The service was quick, but thorough and well-priced. I felt much safer driving my car two hours home.
Chris and his team are great! They are honest and dependable. They don't try to take you for everything you have. They identify the issue, they fix it and you're on your way. No trying to sell you services you don't need, and they actually listen to your concerns! I would recommend anyone to them.
My daughter was on the interstate on the way home from AU for the holidays when she started rapidly losing tire pressure. She pulled off the interstate at the next exit which was Tuskegee and luckily we were finally able to find this place. I called ahead and they were waiting for her and got to work on her car immediately knowing she was trying to get home (4 hours away) before dark. They quickly checked all tires to make sure they had no leaks, determined it was from the weather, filled them up and rotated them for next to nothing. Thank goodness for these good and kind people, my baby will be home safe and soon! I highly recommend for good honest service.
I came to Throwers because of a tire having a screw in it. When I got there the staff was nice and welcoming they addressed my issues and said it would only take a few minutes. While I was waiting, I noticed that the staff knew the first names of the customers that came in. A good sign. When they came back with my keys they informed me that the screw didn’t penetrate my tire and that I was all good. The best part, they didn’t charge me a thing! If you need work done on your vehicle I would highly recommend them!!!
Thrower's is the best place to get your vehicle worked on. I've been using them since 2006. I would recommend anyone that needs work done to go there. All in all an excellent place. Repair work top notch. Prices have always been more than reasonable.
I approached the shop approximately 10 minutes before closing. No one came to ask if I needed assistance but when i walked in, they instructed me to pull to the 1st garage. A mechanic came shortly after and stated I needed a patch for my tire, approximately $15. The mechanic agreed to assist but explained that I needed to ask the owner because it was close to closing time... I even and offered to pay more because I had more than 30 miles to drive. I was denied service as a female from the owner because it was 5:02 but there were working on more than one car and all of the garage doors were open! So apparently there were still open and no one else was asking for service but I was denied. I DO NOT RECOMMEND because of poor customer service from I’m assuming the manger or owner (Chris).
The guys at Throwers (Bill and Son's Autobody) are solid dudes. They were very professional and courteous. After an accident took out my rental car, they gave me and my two kids a ride to a nearby hotel since the new rental wasn't ready for us.
