Awesome people to deal with. Spoke to the owner personally in regards to some parts for a McLaren. He was very helpful, reasonably priced, and once pulled, parts were delivered within a week. It's a scrap yard, not an Orilleys, they can send you what they have, not what you stomp your feet over.
Had my personal experience with the company and unfortunately it was not really positive.
One of company associates, won't say his name, was very unprofessional and abusive. Made profane and inappropriate remarks.

It has been a month and a half and I have not received the part that I prepaid for. When I call I get excuses and run around. I leave voicemails... no return calls. Very unprofessional.
Worst company I have ever had to deal with DAVID VINES,Sent them $300 on November 11thn2021, to get a part for my car David Vines has lied toe from day one first my part coming from Michigan then Atlanta,then Hartsville then Huntsville and I still haven't gotten my part, requested refund from David Vines for my $300 back and no response won't answer the phone won't call back,called him 30 times back to back to see about my part or my refund and no response so I decided to contact the better business bureau to resolve issue and get my money back also called sheriff dept to pursue pressing chargesnon David Vines for theft by deception,do not waist your time with them bad business, horrible service do not waste your time even dealing with these people
I don’t know where to start with this place. 1st they had me waiting with my car in another shop for weeks waiting for a speaker that they stated They’ed have out in a day. Then once they did give me a speaker weeks later. They where soaked, & did not want to give me my refund back, without a hassle. Shop is very rude, will not use them, or advice anyone else who values their time too either.
I would have given them a lower rating if I was allowed to by this site. Similar to all other reviews. I cancelled an order as they did not have the part I ordered. Have been calling them for the last 5 months to get a refund. They screen their calls and will not pick up if you call from your regular number. However if you call from another number they will pick up, then David will make up some excuse of why its taking him so long to issue my refund.
Buyer beware only do business with them when you can see and test the parts.
I have been dealing with David Vines for the Last 4 months. It took him two and a half months for me to get me my parts. I was very understanding and gave him his time. When I finally got my flywheel it looked like it had spent the last year in the rain AND it was for a manual not an SMG. I shipped the parts back and he told me he would refund me in which I told him to deduct 80$ off the price which was what it cost him to ship to me because I wanted to be fair. It has been 29 days since he RECEIVED the parts and is now ignoring all of my phone calls texts and whenever I call the office he’s “out to lunch” and for the third time has been “dealing with his son in the hospital” I have been told by him “just two more days” for two weeks and then the last week he refuses to answer me at all. David vines is a crook and a scam and do not use his services EVER
Been waiting four months, yes 4 months and still haven’t received my part or Money back which I’ve been calling EVERY DAY asking for. Have a lawsuit in motion and I dealt with David Vines who lies about calling back and taking care of the customer
Waited on a rim for a month.. Called every week and they always said "it was being shipped and would "be here in two days" or the "distributor shipped the wrong rim and they would call me as soon as it got there"..(yet THEY never called ME - NOT ONCE).. I finally went and got a refund after four weeks. I understand if you cant find the rim, but just be honest.. Dont take $150.00 from me and lie to my face and tell me you'll "call me in two days when it comes in". I FINALLY had to just show up, get a refund and order the rim myself... A complete waste of a MONTH'S worth of my time.. I gave them the "1" star because they were at least always nice to my face..
I sold them my 2006 bmw months ago and they have yet to pay me. I’ve called at least 25 times and I’m told my address was lost or the money order got lost or I’m the guy who screwed You over and I will mail it today. My attorney will be sending them a letter and I will see him in court. Do not do business with them.
I've ordered from them many times and always gotten good service and fast shipping. Their prices are almost always much better than other places and I usually buy all my brand new OEM BMW parts from them as well as a few used parts to keep my 20 year old Bimmer going.
Buyer BEWARE! I ordered BMW parts on July 11th. The parts never came...He said mirror came in shattered and he had to get another one. After two weeks, I lost the job. Called to get a refund. When I could get them to answer the phone, I was told that the person that knew how to run the credit card machine wasn't in....I was told repeatedly that I would be called back. They NEVER called back. They weren't answering my calls and I was having to call from other numbers. When I did get the owner, he said he would handle it and call me right back. Didn't happen. I am now trying to go through my bank to get my money back. I paid $575 for parts I never received and now they won't refund me! TERRIBLE BUSINESS!
I've been using Vines for parts ever since I've owned BMWs. They are prompt, fair on prices, and have excellent service. I will gladly continue to give them my time and money.
This dude David is a real RACIST piece of crap person, I think the word Tension and Engine doesn't sound the same then he claims that he doesn't understand my English, is like his southern accent sound a lot better than mine.
People like this shouldn't be doing business at all until they clean their heart from racism especially they are from ALABAMA.
If I could give 0 stars, I would, but that is not an option. On August 6th, a part was purchased, and when it finally showed up, it was the wrong part. After a long run-around we finally got the part that we needed, but when it was put in the car, it didn't work! We returned both the first and second parts on October 8th, and we are STILL trying to receive our payment from Ron Vines, and it is APRIL 12th! We have gotten the run-around from Gary and Robert, who keep telling us Ron isn't available, or is out for a delivery, blah blah. We have been trying to call Ron since October, and he refuses to speak to us. Now when we call, the phone is picked up and then hung up, and we have not received our payment. All we are asking for is for Vines to pay us what they owe us, but they are refusing. They have stolen our money, and Ron Vines refuses to speak to us to settle this. I will delete this post once our money is returned, but until then...ZERO stars for Vines Automotive. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!
Horrible business. . I "sold" some parts to Vines in Sept 2014 (they called me on a referral looking for hard to find parts). I have been trying to collect payment from them for more than 6 months now and have gotten nothing but lies and the run-around. Ron Vines has told me directly that he's mailed payment to me at least 10-15 times, but nothing has ever been received.
I've been buying parts from Vines for several years now and have had excellent help and service. The Staff has always been very helpful and pleasant to deal with and everything has arrived as promised. I will continue to use them and would and have referred others to them, Keep up the good work - John L. Neal.
I ordered a used vanos for a 2004 530i, price was great, service was great. It showed up to our shop in Houston Texas on time. It's a shame I cant find this kind of service and readily available used BMW parts here in town. Thanks Vines, I'll call you guys 1st from now on and save the headache of shopping around.
I've been using Vines since 1990 but they've been in business a lot longer than that. A name you can trust for great parts prices and advise. If you ever need to order anything, they have quick turnaround too. They know they're Beemrs. I would'nt use anyone else.
They never call you back, and I have a specialty repair business. Forces me to deal with one of their competitors. Prices were fair to high IMHO which I can deal with....Just don't have time to make them do business with me.
