Went in to buy a battery. Along with a couple other customers. They told all of us that they didn’t have time to put in our batteries. With prices how they are now it was close to $1000 dollars in batteries that left the building. Saw the other customers at advance auto and we all got helped over there. Would not recommend this place

Went to have my battery replaced and they told my husband that he couldn’t change it due to the fuse box, said if it messed up my car they would be responsible for it. He didn’t know the size wrench he needed even after he was told. He so hooked up the battery tester wrong. Need educated people who know what they are doing in there.

Apparently employees can get away with knowing nothing about store policies and can falsely inform customers. 10/10 terrible management

The staff is friendly, and the store is well-stocked. I stopped by and had my rotors turned; the dude ended up wrapping my rotors. Because of that, I will go across the street first for my automotive parts needs.

Place was busy and we needed an antique part. The first guy admitted he did not know about the vehicle and ask for help from another person. This kind of impressed me and speeded up the process even though they couldn’t get what we needed. The other common items were in stock and easily found.

In my experience, the staff is not knowledgeable and on more than one occasion, they sold me the wrong part. The reason I’m giving 4 stars is because they went above and beyond to try and help me. One guy even went outside in the pouring rain to help figure out the problem. I appreciate the effort and although some of the associates need more experience, they don’t lack effort or good work ethic.

Was told a certain price for a radiator on the phone; then after buying to item, they'd charged twice that amount. I need people to be honest. Working on your car is already enough to deal with.

Took a neighbor to get parts for her car I was fixing the guy that helped us looked her name up after checking us out and messaged her on facebook messenger minuets later and said if those parts dont fix your car I can help! Thought it was shady of him to think that was the least bit professional!

I like O'Reilly's better not do any kind of Advance or any of the other Auto Parts places because O'Reilly really tries to go out of their way to help you advance sometimes they make you feel like you're doing them a favor to come into the place but O'Reilly's got it going on so right there in Rainsville

Didnt have the part I needed. Never offered to order what I needed. Onlyb1 guy on the counter and he was helping a customer. Thought he may have been only one there as was early morning but 2 guys walked out from the back. One stopped and joked with the one that was helping the customer about how much they sold the month before then walked right past me. Never even acknowledged me. The second guy walked past me and never acknowledged me either then picked up the phone and called someone. I had to wait for the one guy to finish his transaction before I was helped. Meanwhile the transaction completed the register wouldn't print the customer a receipt. Took me 35 minutes of waiting to be told they didnt have my part. A simple bypass hose from the water pump to the intake.

I had just gotten off work and was in a hurry to get to Scottsboro to the vape store before they closed, but first I needed windshield wipers because both of mine had torn. So I opted for O'Reilly's since I had worked for Advance Auto Parts - that only lasted four months by the way. I go in and the guy on the right has a customer, and the guy on the left is on the phone. I stand in front of the guy on the left, thinking that he will be off the phone soon. So, he gets off the phone, and before I could even talk to him, the phone rang again. He attempted to put the customer on the phone on hold. The guy on the right - keep in mind both of these guys looked like they were in their early twenties- hatefully and loudly exclaimed, "We dont answer the phone like that! ", even though he never once attempted to answer the phone himself. This embarrassed the young man on the left- his faced turned red and I was uncomfortable. Other customers in the store chuckled about it. Then I watched the guy on the right take a customer behind me who came in after me- side note: he never once offered to help me. Then when he finished waiting on his two customers, he walked to the back of the store, ignoring me yet again. I look at the guy on the left and said, "Oh no he didn't" (the poor boy was still on the phone). So me being me, wiper blades in hand, I go to the boy on the rights counter. I slam down my wiper blades and yell, "Excuse me?! You took a customer ahead of me! ". He defended himself by saying he waited on two customers- which is really no defense. So I said, "Why can't you answer the phone?". He didn't answer. So I asked if he was the manager. Still no answer. So I looked at his name tag, and noticed it said assistant manager. At that point I tell him I'm gonna need the windshield wipers installed. No answer there either. But then he asked me for my phone number. I told him he didn't need it. At this point I was irate. He asked me if I didn't want the one-year warranty, in a smart allicky voice.. I asked him once again why couldn't he answer the phone. Then, I proceeded to tell him that he is rude - he's lucky that's all I said - and that I was gonna take my business across the street, where I vented to them about what happened - side note : they had mediocre service as well. I'm just gonna by my parts online. If anybody knows of anywhere on this mountain with decent customer service other than JoJo's Quick Mart and Deli which is where I always shop, please let me know. edited by Daemion Dalton. P. S.
