Incredible resource for soldiers looking to learn automotive skills. I did all four struts on my 2013 sienna and they had everything I needed, including a strut compressor. I rented a lift for $62 and completed a job for around $600 total (including parts) that would have cost at least $2k at a mechanic and more at a dealer. Highly recommend.
I have used the auto shop several times since being back at Fort Rucker, And they never disappoint. they always get me in right away and every time they have fixed something it has been done well. I work a full-time job and they are very kind to accommodate my hours. I would highly recommend them and I don’t trust anybody else and don’t take my car anywhere else.

I adore this place. Been coming here for years and the staff (Tina and her team) are all A+ outstanding individuals. The level of care and attention they give to me as a novice is unparalleled from other Auto Skill centers on other instillations. If you are some of the fortunate few to be able to use the facility, please make that one of your missions. Can't say enough positive things!!!!!

We have motorcycle lifts, along with the tire balancer and mounting for bikes. We can turn rotors for cars,like do bralkes, alnd change out motors and transmissions. Come visit us soon
Employees were super helpful showing me how to use the tire machine and how to do several other tasks installing my wheels. Very courteous and great experience overall!
Awesome resource, couldn't recommend the the staff, facility anymore than I already do! If you need to work on your car, save the money and learn to work on your car especially smaller stuff oil changes, tire rotations, etc.

This place is fantastic. The staff are super helpful, I recommend coming here especially if you are looking for support while you work through new problems on your ride. They helped me change the tires on my motorcycle, and helped me pull the gas tank too - both jobs would have been hard or impossible without their help. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, good facility…can’t ask for more. Thanks guys!

The “Mechanic for Hire Program” is an awesome resource for all your service and repair needs… the employees working there took great care of my old pickup truck. They didn’t try to sell me what I didn’t need. In fact, they saved me a lot of cash, were super friendly, and extremely competent. I’ve finally found the high quality, honest repair shop that won’t break the bank. This is now my “go to” repair shop for all my vehicles. Thanks again to Phil, Chris & Tina! Keep up the good work. Great resource for the base! They have just about any tool you could need for the diy mechanic. Took some time but was able to lower my Denali and they had everything I needed to do it successfully.
Went to put aftermarket performance exhaust on my ram. Had every tool I required and staff that extremely helpful whenever I needed assistance. An individual that goes by Doc was there everytime I needed help. Wouldn't have been so easy to install without his assistance. Thanks Doc! This the place to go if you want to work on your vehicle or have their mechanics do it for you.
Incredibly useful for project car modification and routine maintenance alike their service prices best others by a long shot and they have just about any tool you could desire.
Take your cars and bikes here more often to keep the super friendly and helpfull staff employed, they need more business volume, with current budget cuts and that's a shame.
Wouldn't go anywhere else in the area. Honest and very experiences mechanics on stuff that will either be able to do the work or recommend u out to another reputable local shop.
I went there to have someone help me with the tire machines, to change a couple of tires. Although the staff were nice and helpful, it was way, way to expensive!!!! For 2 dollars less, I could have had Firestone do all of the work !!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I went there to safe money, but...….NOT !!!!!!!!!!!!!

The prices are fair, better than going to a mechanic. They are very helpful and will assist you in any way that they can. They have a plethora of tools available for use and shop is very clean and we'll maintained.
Great place to service or repair your vehicle. The staff is great and very knowledgeable. The rates are very reasonable, the mechanics are to fix the vehicles and not your wallet.

The staff is always pleasant, helpful, and in great spirits. I really enjoy the fact that they are very knowledgeable, but are willing to physically help. Through all of the professionalism, the staff also are "down to earth" and will joke with the customers. This is a clean place with different types of lifts, tools, and certified mechanics around. The rental for the bay/area is very inexpensive. When you rent the bay, you have unlimited access to whatever tools that you need to complete the job. The shop also offering certain mechanical work that they would do for a small fee (i.e. - oil change, brake work...etc). Yes you have to clean up your area prior to leaving.
Have to agree with the first review... I've been using the Auto Hobby shop for many years myself... and Tina has managed to keep the entire facility upgraded into a top notch facility.... I think the latest team she's amassed, is the best yet.... Great Job MWR!!!
