I would without a doubt recommend this to anyone. I saved myself several thousand using this service. Over the course of several days I was able to change motor, transmission and differential oil, new brake rotors and calipers, new coolant and thermostat. They have a wide variety of tools. If I were to add anything it would be more diverse brake bleed system, but I was satisfied with their selection generally. The best part of it was the staff. Sean and Jeremy were beyond helpful. They were ready and willing to provide not only seasoned advice but also hands on assistance. Keep gentleman like this around, they're worth their weight in gold.
I come here quite often and have done everything from oil changes to an engine swap. The skills center always has the right tools and great help for any project you might be doing.
Very helpful senior mech won't work on deisel engines, but very helpful. They bays are super nice, and the majority have lifts. You go there also for putting stuff in the lemon lot. Not super busy so probably easy to get in to work on your vic.
Great shop that has all the tools, lifts, and equipment you will need to knock pretty much any job out. They even have wheel balancers! All for just $12 an hour for the bay, all tools are free to use! One awesome thing, especially in the summer down here, they have cold drinks and snacks for purchase! Also, the mechanic on duty has always been helpful and willing to help as needed.
Mr. Jeremy and Mr. Doc were great guys. Went in not knowing how to do rotors and brake pads. They helped me get set up with the lift and tools. I watched videos on how to do the job and whenever I had questions they helped to the max extent possible. Awesome place, these guys knew how to help everyone. Will be going back for future repairs.
The Mechanic For Hire is great. Come get your car or truck worked on. They work on all vehicles except Diesels and Hybrids. You can also work on your own vehicle on the Self Help side.
Great place to get under my TDI Passat The lifts allow me access to everything to change the oil and inspect the underside of my car. They have tools, diagnostic equipment and even a tire change station and rotor lathe. The personnel are friendly and helpful.
All you have to do is tell them which job you’re doing and they already know which tools to lend you. Then they lend advice with no belittling or anything. Very helpful staff full of professionals.
This is the best auto skills center I've used across multiple bases. I always come here to do repairs on my vehicle and recommend my friends to do the same. I'm not knowledgeable or experienced in working on cars and the staff is always eager to assist. They have mechanics for hire in addition to bays where you can do the work yourself. I'll drop my car off with the mechanics for more complicated repairs and they're always fast and fair priced.
The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, and they have all the tools you’ll ever need. Don’t shimmy under your car to change your oil. Bring it there to get it lifted off the ground. They also taught me how to change my brake pads. I’ve saved so much money by patroning this location and can’t stress how underrated this place is.
Came here last weekend to take a lift off of my truck and install a drop kit, every tool needed was available and total cost for renting a lift for a couple days, and use of air tools was more than reasonable. Staff was polite, knowledgeable and ready to help. Will definitely be returning
Great place to get services and your automotive needs. Tina, the facility manager has years of experience on car repairs. She will assist you with whatever questions you have. The shop rate is very reasonable. And they will rent you a bay to work on your own vehicle if you want to do your own work.. There are many certified mechanics around to lend you a hand, if you ever need them.
Best place I have ever been to for everything vehicle related. The staff is great and their mechanics are amazing! They have saved me thousands of dollars through the years because of their unbeatable prices and honest work! I will only go to the mechanics here for my vehicle repairs.
