I really want to take the time out to say thank you to the 2 awesome men who came out to my rescue yesterday in the storm while I was trying to make it to work and pulled me out of a ditch I was greatly appreciated they acted quick and fast to get me out of the storm thank you guys again
Ok so had an unexpected nail in tire get there everyone was polite and courteous. The tech I had was one point of the problem and offered the best resolution patched my tire. Didn't cost alot as where it would've elsewhere. That's alot for your service
Operation is a money scam. They come and tow my sons car on Saturday and tell me there closed on weekends. So instead of getting my son's car out on Saturday they make me wait till Monday and charge me extras fees for each day they have it. How can a business even operate like this? If you can tow it on a Saturday I should be able to get it out on a Saturday without all of the (extra) charges that occur because you say your closed on weekends.

The owner of the shops reached out and made things right. I'd feel a bit dishonest if I completely removed my original review so I'm going to leave it down below. Personally, I still wouldn't recommend taking a vehicle to the Lafayette shop, BUT I would certainly take it to their other shops as the owner has demonstrated that he cares about the customer and runs an honest business.
My incident was likely isolated to just the Lafayette shop and mechanic working there. Most of the other reviews I see are for their main shop in Cusseta and it looks like the vast majority of people have a great experience there. Take your vehicle to the Cusseta shop and give them in a chance if you need work done Even if a mistake is made on their part, I have zero doubts they will make it right and take care of you.

STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THE LAFAYETTE SHOP.
I took my truck to their Lafayette location around the beginning of July for a Timing Chain Kit, Valve Cover Gasket, and a new battery that I was told it needed. On July 16th, I wrote a check for $1957.14 and picked up my truck. 20 miles later, my engine light turns on, the truck starts shaking and rattling, and the engine shut down. I was fortunate enough to have barely made it to my father's driveway right before the engine shut down . They sent a tow truck the next morning to take it back to their Lafayette shop. Supposedly, the parts they ordered were faulty. No problem, I'm understanding and patient. Things happen, I get it.
Two more weeks pass by and the "faulty" parts are replaced and the truck was picked up again in the evening of July 24th, two days before I went out of town. I took a different vehicle out of town because I didn't trust my truck to drive that far after just coming out of the shop again.
The following week, on August 1st, I noticed my truck was leaking oil in my garage. We were told to bring it back to the shop on August 8th. It was taken back and after THREE more weeks of being in the shop (now in week#8), I called today a couple of times today to inquire about it and was told it was done and driven a couple of times to make sure everything was good and that I could come get it. The keys were left there and I picked it up today and came home. Four hours later I walk out to my garage and it is still leaking oil.
My truck sat in that shop for almost an entire 2 MONTHS (7 out of 8 weeks) while I maintained the patience of a saint despite being told countless times it would be ready on such and such day over and over again. I paid nearly $2,000 to swap one problem for another problem that didn't exist prior to the original work being done. The mechanic, Kyle, did call and apologize to me earlier this week, admitted fault, (week #8) and explain that his word and reputation meant something and he didn't want to tarnish that because he doesn't send out junk. While that is a respectable act, the damage has been done in my eyes and now I feel borderline scammed.
I HIGHLY advise staying away from the Lafayette shop. Take your vehicle elsewhere, preferably a reputable dealership. You may end up paying a little more but your vehicle will be fixed and not sit there for months. If something goes wrong with the repair, a reputable dealership will prioritize you as a paid customer and have a sense of urgency with your vehicle. DO NOT LET THIS MECHANIC WORK ON YOUR VEHICLE.
Great service, fair price! When they care about their name you know they care about your car!
I was worried I wouldn't find someone like that since moving into town and leaving my old mechanic. Glad this place was recommended to me!

After sitting on the side of the road in my work truck for over 4 hours waiting on another company that apparently couldnt tow my truck and calling 15 other companies- literally- Jones was the one to save us. I'm not the type to leave my work truck on the side of the road over night, I mean it's my whole lively hood on wheels. Jones was fast friendly and very efficient. I went to Jones Garage & Towing needing an oil change, brakes and inside mirror. I was called back with the cost and the time needed to do the repairs. I am very satisfied with the cost and the repairs. Excellent service and friendly staff. I will definitely be going back for all my vehicle service needs.

I am extremely thankful for the men and women at Jones! They treat you like you are a part of their family. They go above and beyond to take care of you and make sure your vehicle is in the best shape when it leaves their shop. We are extremely satisfied with the job they did on both of our vehicles, their professionalism, and their attitudes towards us. Excellent service!
We are on our way back from Florida from spring break. We are pulling a 38 foot trailer. We heard a pop and it's like we lost all power. We were trying to find someone to help us but it seemed like everyone was closed or didn't have enough people on staff. My husband finally called Jones Garage. These guys were about to close,but he was gracious enough to help us out and came to our location on the side of the highway. Had everything fixed in a matter of minutes. Very kind people and we are so very thankful.
They towed my wife's car from a wreck and swept up all the pieces that were torn off the car along with the gravel from the road and fluids from the car and threw it inside on her personal belongings. Don't recommend this towing company.
Jimmy and his guys do an outstanding job on working in cars to towing and even his body shop I have seen work they have personally did . . It's always good to have somebody who doesn't try to take advantage of you when you need things done to your vehicle . I would recommend his shops or towing above any body else in our area . .
My son had an accident in Beauregard on Sunday (morning). Jones was called by the State Trooper on the scene and the truck was taken back to their lot around lunch time. I was told they would have to deliver the next day due to it being on a Sunday. I was given no bill, nor direction on how to pay - I was just told it would be delivered Monday. Found out from my son that he had given him a business card and they wouldn't deliver without the bill being paid. Most towing services that I've used in the past gave me a bill on site and I took care of immediately. Bill was $75 recently from Tiger Towing (much better company to deal with). Took directly to site - no gouging of storage fees. I called this afternoon (not much later than I was told that I needed to call and pay. The bill was over $300 and the owner said it would now also be 2 days storage. What!? After getting mad over the outrageous bill and treatment as a customer, the bill went to over $400 due to the "storage" fee I guess? Storage is a parking lot in front of their shop - no fenced security. DO NOT use unless you want to be charged an astronomical fee. We will see what my insurance has to say about the charge. Insurance would only pay $300. Surprised at that due to the ridiculous price.
Broke the timing belt on my 2003 Nissan Xterra while northbound on Interstate 85 at the 70 mile marker in the middle of the summer. Jones was recommended by the Alabama State Police and provided excellent service in getting me off the road and back to my residence in Salem at what I would say was a better price than I could have ever expected and therefore I would say it was a true blessing, praise the Lord!
They always do a great job and their prices are good too. They get the job done and it is done right. They do all of my automotive work and they have always kept me informed and always been fair.
I was stranded for over 5 hours. Kyle from garage came to me to see if he could help well my water pump went out which I just got fix not even 3 months ago. When I tell you these are the nicest people and fast. I will be back thank you so much for help me.
