The absolute worst place to have to deal with. Just to tow, 2 day storage and a drivable truck, $469. Customer service was horrible. And the owner decided to cuss me out after I found out the truck isn’t drivable now. I hope no one ever uses them.
BEST SCRAP YARD TO GET RIPPED OFF. Seamon Scrap Metal Recycling will give you $50.00 for $170.00 in scrap. When you catch them ,they are rude and unprofessional .And act if you are wrong and they are right. The yard personal is young and act is if they don't know what they are doing. Very sad, to have a business like that in Prattville.Wish that I never went there today. I wish that I could rate them a -2. But I still learned what business in the area. That are actually free of deceit . And this one , surely is not one of them. God help you if you go there.
If I could give 0 stars I would! The kid working receiving (or giving orders to customers to do his job) was very disrespectful and unprofessional. I will not be doing business with them any more, and I wouldn't recommend anyone else to do so either.
They are awesome and the men that work there are very helpful and treat you like family and I would like to thank them for all the help they do to get the job done quickly
Contrary to the hours posted here, they are NOT open every Saturday. Closed the first Saturday of the month. Suggest you call before driving out here, don’t trust their advertised hours.
The ladies in the office are courteous, professional and always have a smile to share. They appreciate your business and it shows. Johnny is very helpful and is willing to give pointers to newcomers. The guys in the yard are fantastic and they work very hard. They are quick to point out if you have something as scrap that could be weighed inside like aluminum. By far, my favorite recycling center!!! 2 Thumbs UP!!!
Man y'all tripping if y'all don't take your scrap to seamons. People are down to earth, fast service, and Ms. Jennifer fine as hell. I scrap just to come see her. Lol just kidding. I love y'all.
I thoroughly enjoyed scrapping metal here. I went to here, Robinson Recycle and Sabel Steel all within the last week and Seamon has the best price by far. The guy pulling things off the trailer had a real good touch with his machines. It was set up pretty easy and if you’ve been scrapping before, you should be fine. The cashiers are also nice as well. Overall it’s a good experience and I will be scrapping here at the higher rate rather than the other centers. $8.50/100lb
