Low 4, inside park-so convenient, sites needed some leveling, showers cost $5, ok for sleeping not really for hanging out. Lakeshore trail nearby nice easy hike with great Jackson Lake views.

Great traditional campground with all the amenities. Nice and wooded with a beautiful beach!!

It's a big rv site ,mostly very slight grade.the bad part, 5 dollars per person for a shower and laundry is expensive ,the 1 plus is the wildlife in the park and oh by the way,no campfire so no smores,I'm not coming back

Our family traveled from suburban Philadelphia to 12 national parks out west. This by far was one of our favorite locations the entire trip. We stayed here on our drive in to Yellowstone. The view of the Tetons and the lake at the base of the camp was incredible. We watched meteors fall over the lake and it was amazing. We stayed in the RV portion of the park which appeared to be almost entirely booked. Book well in advance of your stay. There is a store and laundry at the front of the RV park. Things are about 10% higher in cost in the park so it pays to be prepared. We had a pull through site for our RV with full hookups. Nearby families were not to loud and most were friendly. This is a good location to have a Basecamp for exploring the Tetons of even Yellowstone. Ps: if traveling to more than 2 national parks, I strongly suggest getting the national park pass. It saved my family a ton of money. It paid for itself after 3, maybe 4 parks.

Would definitely stay here again. I did have to book super quick the day reservations opened up. Staff was super nice and friendly. Checkin was easy. We stayed at a full hookup pull through site. We used the laundry and they literally sanitized every machine and basket after it was used. Amazing small grocery store with necessities a few min walk away from campsite. Grocery store also had amazing huckleberry ice cream that we enjoyed each night. Quick walk down to the swim beach where we swam and watched the sunset Really close to the scenic loop that we drove multiple times seeing all the amazing views and wildlife.

Great staff they went out of their way to get us a camping site. They're more than a bit pricey for anything you need to purchase unfortunately. But since there's seriously nothing else around. Best get used to the high prices. Hey it's a tourist trap they're all that way. Overall we loved the place it was more than worth going. Be sure to expect over priced everything? Bought 2 canned sodas, 2 National Park walking stick medals @$5.99, 2 National Park window stickers @$3.99 each and 1 peach. At a total cost $43.85? My fault I really should have looked at the total at the register. Instead of at the receipt after opening the drinks and taking a bite from the peach. As I stated kinda pricey to say the least. I'm a knife collector. Saw one with a bone handle and 3" blade. Was seriously going to purchase until I was told the price. They wanted $450.00? Well,,,,,obviously I wasn't even going to pay that price! Handed it back to the cashier telling them, "Apparently you want it more than I do" yes kinda pricey. Still amazing place to say the least. Just watch the pricing. Just look at the picture from their parking lot. Need I say more.

Loved this campground. It's extremely hard to get a full hookup site so make sure you book ASAP (at least in the summer). You can book up to 6 months in advance. The campground is shaded, walking distance to the Colter Bay Village and the beach with killer views.

Really nice Campground had a great experience. Lots of amenities nearby. Good general store easy access to the lake very scenic.

We had a great stay at this camp ground. Sites are easy to pull into and no issues with hooking up. Basic bathrooms located every few rows and the walk to the camp store, visitor center, marina and restaurant was easy. Super close to swim beach which was amazing fun. Plenty of wildlife around. Beware of mosquitoes as they are super prominent here. Biggest con to this camp ground was showers. They are located in the Laundry building and cost $5 a person. This is way over priced even for camp ground standard. Stayed at many State & National parks and expected quarter showers but this was steep. These showers are basic, tiny with the added bonus of a tiny nearly see thought curtain. Anytime someone walked by the curtain would open. Zero privacy. Only positive is a staff member cleans the showers after every person.

We stayed here while seeing the Grand Tetons for a couple nights. Nice RV park with full hookups. Large pines in the campground. Pull through sites. #480 was our site. We have a 34’ fifth wheel. Fit nice.

Beautiful campground next to Jackson Lake and the Tetons. Clean restrooms. Close to restaurants, grocery store, gift shop, visitor center, and marina. We rented kayaks one afternoon.

Very nice location. Short walk to Lake Jackson to view the Tetons over the lake. The only shortcoming is it’s 50 mi to town.

Renegade 38 ft. - Last of September. We were boondocking for 6 days so need full hook ups. We snared a one nighter in Colter Bay RV before moving to Colter Bay Park (no hookups except electric only on ADA sites). Water pressure was low but useable. FHU with close neighbors. Not a fan of non-spacious sites but for a one nighter, not bad. Large park. We scored a site on the front row. Easy in..pull straight forward 500ft and were gone.Laundry - commercial w/attendant. $5 per washer & $3 per dryer. Showers for $5, no attendantPropane fill up as you enter. Nice people at the entry station. Gave us all the details on the park, campgrounds & bears. As stated on other reviews, they take bears seriously. Cook & get it cleaned up outside or Rangers will confiscate your grill. Just black bears, no grizzlies. Most are fond of picnic baskets.just saying. We used AT&T hotspot (4 bars-15mbs) rather than deploy Starlink. We camped at Colter Bay RV Park in a Motorhome.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this park. Our site was 450 which was relatively level. There was a general store within walking distance and bathrooms were close but not to the point where our site was busy with passersby. It was quite and people were respectful. Great access to the National Park. Just keep in mind it can be a drive to Jackson Hole if you want to go there to visit during the day.

Colter Bay is such a great place and wish we stayed longer. Loved that we could walk from our RV site down into the lake for a swim. The view is stunning. The hosts at the campground were super welcoming and lovely too

I experienced prejudice from the all white staff. They wouldn’t honor my reservation as is and had to pay for a 2nd site or they said we had to go somewhere else. There were other campers that were non compliant of their ‘rules’ (see photos) so that’s when I realized it was just bigotry at its best. Gave them 2 stars because the campground is nice, otw I would give a minus 5. And this campground is located inside the National park so this behavior should not be tolerated.

We picked this Campground for the location off Jackson Lake, and we are very happy we did. It's beautiful and clean, and the section we picked didn't allow generators, so it was quiet. My only complaint is the bathroom lights. They never turn off. They are clean, but the lights are so bright it kept me up most nights. The general store and showers/laundry is a short 10min walk from the Campground. They also have an amphitheater with a history show hosted by the Rangers each night. There are also 2 restaurants by the store and a gas station on the turn into the Campground.

Very good location of RV park. A couple of minutes from the beautiful view of the mountains, the beach with pebbles and the crystal clear water of the lake. Our family stayed there for four days and four nights. We stood with a full hookup, it was wonderful, although but little expensive ...

Absolutely gorgeous place. We stayed five nights and I did not want to leave. Trees everywhere so did not even need an awning. Staff was very nice and helpful. They have hiking trails next to the park that has some beautiful scenery. While hiking next to the park we got to see a momma bear and two cubs. We saw tons of wildlife but bears topped the list. If you go hiking take your bear spray.

This park is showing its age, but it is still very convenient. Sites were gravel and many were not very level, but all were pull-through. We required leveling blocks. One huge plus of our site (460) was the length of the site - no issue with tow vehicle parking. But, to align with hook-ups, the trailer had to be towards the back of the site, which meant backing up a bit on a one-way street to get back into the site to park after site seeing. Not a big deal, but not the most convenient. Bathrooms didn't have showers, but they were available for $5 at the laundromat in Colter Bay Village. Thankful we were self-contained. Easy walk to the Village and Marina and several trailheads. Staff was very helpful and friendly. AT&T service was great here.

The RV park is very close to the marina. Very nice view there. We see bears there, too. One mom with 3 cubs. Also there is a general store has almost everything. Shower is $5 per person.

This was likely my favorite spot just for the view alone. Walking the lake was the highlight of my morning and one of the best sights of my trip. I was lucky enough to see a grizzly and her 3 cubs by the lake at a safe distance. Hector was incredibly knowledgable about all the bears around the park and I enjoyed talking to him. Thank you!

Two week stay was unbelievable. Campground is spotless.bathrooms ALWAYS clean and maintained. The RV Park's proximity to the sights of the Tetons is very beneficial. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Really enjoyed our stay the first week of May 2023 in spot 499 with our 40' fifth wheel. We were told there was an unusual amount of snow this year. Staff was very friendly, was nice talking with Margie. Short walk down to lake Jackson was worth staying here by itself. Laundry is unnecessarily expensive, $4 wash plus $3.50 dry. They have a propane filling station, which was also high at about $4.50\gallon. We hiked Jenny Lake, visited the Chapel of Transfiguration, Jackson Hole, and all the turnouts looking for wildlife. If there are a crowd of cars on the side of the road then ask someone what the sighting is, that's how we saw some grizzly bears. To avoid Teton Pass coming from the east, drive down to Alpine then back up to Colter Bay. Def recommend driving it without your RV if you visit Jackson.

Campground: Colter Bay RV Park City, State: Colter Bay (Grand Tetons), Wyoming Check-in: July 4, 2022 Check-out: July 8, 2022 Site Number: 503 We Liked: Full hookups. Site was big enough for 32 ft Class C and TOAD. Entire campground was covered in pine trees. It was really nice and kept the temps down. Unlike the northeast and Mid-Atlantic, these pine trees did not leave the RV covered in sap. Helpful staff. An important screw fell out of my awning during travels and when I asked the office if they had a box of screws they said they'd call maintenance. 30 min later a very friendly maintenance man showed up and gave me a variety of screws that would be a close match - it worked! This also saved me an hour drive to a Jackson hardware store. Propane is available for purchase for both jugs and fixed tanks. Quiet campground. Beach (rocky) was a quick walk from the campground. No issues with electric and water. We Didn't Care For: Campground roads were wee bit narrow. Site was not level. We were able to get level by putting Lego blocks under one side and using our automatic levelers. There were many over Class C, Super C, and Class A much worse off. Wicked bad mosquitoes (yes, that is out of their control, but they were bad during evening/night). The Colter Bay grocery was very expensive. Laundry was the most expensive on this trip too - $4 to wash and $2.50 to start the dryer (many more quarters added to dryer). A shower was $5. No free shower voucher like at Fishing Bridge (Yellowstone). Showers were mostly clean in the AM but quite filthy during PM. Could not get any TV stations with digital antenna (not sure if this was due to tree cover). The bathrooms closest to 503 had the following issues: Men's - relatively clean but always out of hand washing soap. Women's - it looked as though it had not been cleaned in a long time. Overall Assessment: We enjoyed our stay at Colter Bay RV Park. It was a great home base while we explored the Tetons.

Its not easy getting into a NP/State Park with a rig of our size. We booked this CG approx 6 months in advance. Most sites are gravel, ours was a mixture of mud/gravel, leaning more towards the mud side. Branches were trimmed and it allowed us to roll through with our 13'6" rig without scraping. TLDR; We'd stay here again, although, we'd likely stay closer to Jackson for amenities since you still have a pretty good drive to everything around Grand Teton. We never went North during our stay and always went south towards Jackson. Pro's: * Can't beat this location if you goal is to stay in the actual park. Walking distance to the visitor center, small grocery store, Jackson Lake, etc.... Unfortunately, most of the amenities were closed in May. * Long spot. Could have easily fit a 50-55' with an additional tow vehicle/toad. * Beautiful scenery all around. * Wildlife right outside and around the CG. Saw our first Grizzly! * Relatively clean & warm bathrooms * Staff cleaned and raked each spot upon moveout. * Starlink WORKS well should you have a clear line of site. We didn't with tons of tree's, but were still able to get enough bandwith to stream Netflix and MLB.tv With that said, we couldn't do simple things like posting to IG or FB. So, not sure how that worked. Con's: * No cell service of any kind (perhaps this is a Pro for some) * No wifi of any kind, unless near certain spots as outlined in the CG map/guide you get upon checkin. Although, we couldn't find these spots. * Muddy and VERY unlevel site. Not sure we saw a level spot. * Sewer connection was HIGHER than than where it exited our RV. Therefore, we only emptied Gray until we got to our next destination. * Expensive for what it is and at least a 30 minute drive to most area attraction/hikes/drives.

Really cool spot. My wife and I got really lucky when we were a little unprepared on a place to stay while on our week long RV rental trip through Yellowstone and Grand Teton. We called last minute and got a spot in the Knick of time. I wish we would have planned better so we could have spent a few more nights here. Looks like there’s a nice community vibe and the lake view is just breath taking. I got some Fishing in and landed a nice fatty. Not much better than waking up, making some coffee and heading to the lake with a fly rod and just drinking in the mirrored reflection of the Tetons and hooking up with a beautiful trout on a fly. Just perfect. I can’t recommend this place enough to everyone I talk to about my trip. Get out there! But please, carry in, carry out. Keep it clean

The crown jewel of our trip. We originally had a reservation for the more primitive campground next door because we couldn't get a site for the RV park online, even 8 months out because they were all booked. All the same, we took a chance to see if they might have some sites left when we arrived, and they did! Hector was kind and welcoming, and we had an incredible stay. Hookups were great, the site was long enough for our 32' camper, and also fit our Yukon XL once it was unhooked. DO NOT MISS THE BEACH. We almost missed it and would have if not for a walk one evening through the rest of the campground when we stumbled on it. Spectacular. Great swimming even though the water was cold and the lake level was low. The kids had a blast! Great hiking trails also just a short walk away.

We stayed here in June and the staff, sites, and fellow campers were just wonderful!! The site wasn’t advertised as a pull thru however it was easy to pull thru without issue which lead to an easy set up. The facilities are clean and well kept which is nice for when the kids have to go. Such a a great location with a short walk to the beach, store, and the wildlife comes to you. Just don’t feed them!

Nice folks, so, so beautiful and quiet. We got there before everything opened so the showers and laundry as well as store were still closed. You can do laundry five miles down the road. Dogs are permitted on leash. Walk around the grounds and find yourself staring at beautiful Jackson lake and the Grand Tetons. So amazing!!!
