These guys were amazing! George was so kind and took our driver right in. We had a loaded reefer unit that was completely shut down and they got the repair done in 20 minutes. They also said our alternator was bad but found a way for us to get our truck back to our terminal, which saved us money. As the Fleet Manager for ABL Trucking, I will be using these guys anytime we are in need of repairs and in the area. Thanks again George!

I have been meaning to write this review for a while, but this place saved me on the way through last February. We were on a road trip going to Utah from Colorado.

The worst shop in the world. Don't recommend anyone they didn't do anything and charge us for nothing, when we refused , they said that they will tow our truck and we will pay more than 1000$ per hour, i think guys, police should work with you and close your shop, because you have no idea how to work with customers and it is really unfair that some shops exist like you in this greatest world. I hope you will close soon

Great place to stop. Friendly people and the good conoco gas was 10 cents cheaper than the other two gas stations at that exit. The men's room has a beautiful mural painted on the walls. Here's a picture. Zoom in on the pink post-it note. It's hilarious. "Please do not spit chew in the urinals."

My mom and I were traveling on our way to Missouri, when the check engine light came on. We had one of the mechanics here look at it, which he charged $130 just to scan for codes. Basically told us he didn't have the parts to fix it, and we may or may not make it to the next town, with no regard to our safety. Didn't seem to really care, and honestly was pretty rude. He cleared the codes which doesn't solve anything and actually made it more difficult to get the problem solved. Thankfully we found someone wonderful, kind and caring in Rawlins. Go to Mountainwest Motors instead, they'll take care of you and even recommend places to stay and eat while you wait.

Extremely friendly and helpful people. They attended to my “check engine” light promptly and also explained everything to do with the reason. Thankfully nothing serious. Both the reception and the mechanic (Jeff) were awesome. Thank you!

I tried to have them look at my truck. It was broken down literally 100 yards from the Conoco and the mechanic said it would be hours before he would tow us. Had a very rude attitude and then never showed up. Left me and my son stranded on the on-ramp. Do not bother. Not good people. Had absolutely no intention or even interest in helping me!

While on a family vacation to Yellowstone, our rental Chrysler Pacifica blew a tire on I-80! Our family of four were stranded for many many hours! Sergeant Brad Bracken from Rawlin Wy., was kind enough to come to our rescue. While trying to speak with budget rental Sergeant Bracken let us know that BOTH FRONT TIRES should have been replaced and tickets would have been issued for the safety hazard they posed! This man spent over an hour and half on hold with Budget Rental trying to get us the help we do desperately needed! Truly an amazing soul!! I also want to discuss the wonderful man who came to pick me and family up while stranded. Jeff - the owner of Wamsutter Conoco came out passed business hours and took us into town!! While there he allowed my children to sit in a nice waiting room with restrooms and replaced BOTH TIRES!! Allowing my family the opportunity to continue our vacation! I can't believe how wonderful both of these individuals have been to my family. I would give 10 stars if I could!!

Jeff is an angel. My friend and I were stranded between Wamsutter and Rock Springs at midnight on a Friday, due to our car renter renting us a car with poor tires, and of course no extra tire. We called a lot of numbers and asked for help, but they were listing insane costs to help us so we gave up for the night and thought we'd figure out what to do in the morning. However, after some waiting Jeff turns up after hearing of our situation. He took us to Wamsutter and replaced two worn tires for a really good deal, at 2-3am on a Saturday, and we were off to continue our roadtrip.

Jeff Is freaking awesome, saved our butts on a cross country trip while driving our new to us tow truck home, Guy stayed after hours, on a hot Friday night. Couldn't ask for a better place to break down or ask for help.

Amazing service. Even though triple-a left me on the side of the road they were there in 10 minutes. Did a computer scan for my Mercedes cleared it. I was able to offer me an acceptional level of comfort and service. I highly suggest these folks if you're on the tight spot side of the road in the middle of the wyoming.

This is a top-notch repair facility, especially being in the middle of oilfield country. I would NEVER take my vehicle anywhere else. They have amazing certified mechanics, and the entire staff is friendly and extremely hospitable... always going the extra mile for the customers' needs. C-store is very old fashioned and the bathrooms are kept very clean! This is a family business, not a large corporate run truck stop. Everything from fuel to c-store, repair shop to towing, is held up to the highest standards. They carry a large amount of NAPA tools and parts as well. You can find just about anything. Tires, tire repair, tools, towing services, wench out services, service trucks, and roadside repairs. Outstanding repair shop for cars, trucks, semi tractors and trailers, heavy equipment and so on. There is always someone on call for after hours services as well.

We are so thankful we stopped at this place. The weather was awful and we were feeling unsafe. We thought it might be our tires. When we stopped in and they checked our tires confirmed it was all weather and the tread was good then discovered the psi was 24 and 26. I’m not sure what the guys name was but he was from Boise and we are so thankful.

If I could give less then one I would. I called at 1:45 I had a driver blow a rear tire on a hopper took his tail lights out they said they could put a light in for us and replace the tire told me it was going to be an hour and a half wait not a problem I sent my driver over there he checked in did all the paperwork filled everything out gave them his phone number and everything he told the lady at the reception desk he was going to go take a nap they had his number they knew exactly where he was parked now it's 8:22 at night they are closed my driver woke up no one has been near his truck nobody called and he's still sitting there with a blown tire and no tail light we truck drivers make money driving up and down the road not sitting for 24 hours in your parking lot very unprofessional. Would not recommend using this company for mechanical services I cannot say anything about their towing services

Love this little hole in the wall on I-80 on WY. Wamsutter has been taken over by the big box names, but these guys are still holding strong! If close to Wamsutter, WY o. I-80 around the 173, swing by and give these guys some love and support local businesses. They have been a staple in Wamsutter for years! They need to stay the course! Thanks y'all for being awesome for all these years!

Gas is 30cents lower across the street but the staff here is really nice and friendly. They have a little bit of everything including a service & repair shop that does good work at decent prices. Plus it's locally owned.

Dont come to this location they will rip you off, brought my own tire and still ended up paying $164 on trailer’s inside tire ? i simply asked why the price way too high and started threatening me if you don’t pay we will boot your truck and you will be paying $400 per hour until you make payment and dude literally went inside to my truck to get the keys out off my truck here’s the invoice ??

We were practically stranded in the middle of nowhere with a nail in our tire. We checked out several other places nearby that either weren't open or were super busy. We finally stopped here looking for a patch kit to do it ourselves when the owner said they could squeeze us in before they started on the other cars there. We were in and out in less than thirty minutes. Super nice! Super accommodating! And super cheap all things considered! Absolutely perfect for what we needed!

On a journey from Seattle to Little Rock the GPS brought us through Wamsetter, WY. The need for fuel and to stretch our legs, found us this gem of a station! The store was clean, the pumps had squeegees for windshields (a rare find on our journey so far), but the staff was tops! Amber was such a fun and refreshing energy in the store. Thank you Amber for being so dang cool today!!

DO NOT call or let these people touch your vehicle. Contact someone else in Rawlings. They caused 1200.00 dollars in damages to my truck. I was asked to get a quote for the repair, I submitted it and they have never returned my calls or emails. This and other complaints are why their account is suspended on Better Business Bureau. STAY AWAY!

Called in to have a inner drive tire changed. Said they had no wait time, driver still had to wait an hour, which is fine as Loves had a 6 hour wait. Not sure if the tech was new, but he quoted me $1,800.00 for a new drive tire!?! After I asked him multiple times to check, he saw that it was $700ish for a top of the line tire, which is fine. BUT the issue I had was with them charging me $235.00 to change ONE drive tire! That’s not including the extra shop supplies, tire disposal fee, and hazardous material fee which is normal but factoring in the labor fee, that’s absolutely ridiculous! Overall paid $916.74 for one drive tire replacement. Use the Love’s across the street unless you have no other option. Or try to make it to the next city for repair.

If you get there before 18:00 these guys will help you out and get you back on the road running. They do after hours just remember there could be a extra fee involved.

We were stuck on the side of I80 in the windstorm and I called for a tow with my insurance. Dave brought his heavy rig within an hour on a busy afternoon and we got to his shop safely. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff is now working on getting us back on the road after parts get to the shop, and I look forward to posting another review when we pick the truck up!

WOW! I had a tire blowout about 20 miles from Wamsutter Conoco on I-80. I think the universe was on my side. I called and first off, the guys that you talk too are very nice and knowledgeable. My blowout turned out to be not so simple. I am so thankful I found this shop. As a full time RVer... I highly recommend this shop! They found my problem, found a solution, kept me in the loop and offered me ways to save money. You don't find HONEST repair people very often, I would highly recommend going out of your way if you need work done. I had to have an axle replaced on my 42' 5th wheel! These guys had me on the road within 3 days. That is AMAZING!!!! Unheard of in the RV world. I will go back and schedule to get work done! So grateful!

Great place. Had a blowout on I80 on my travel trailer. Got a new tire and an extra spare from them in under an hour. They seemed busy but still saw to us right away. The service manager, Kirby, was super helpful and friendly and patiently answered all our questions. Hopefully we don't HAVE to return, however if we do I hope we are nearby. Such a relief to get that help.

Dave & Amanda we're very professional. Loves sent us to them because our two inside back RV tires were bad , not just really low in air we think due to some extenders a tire shop in Florida put on .. The Conoco station got us in right away and replaced the two tires. Very friendly and helpful. So glad we didn't have a problem while going through the mountains! ? Glad these kind of people are out here in these small towns. Price seemed reasonable.

The cleanest and neatest truck stop I've ever seen! The owners take pride in doing a good job and presenting a nice environment to their customers, all the way to the cleanest gas station bathrooms ever (with handpainted Wyoming sceneries on the walls)! And the store is very well stocked - nice selection with very reasonable prices. The owners are simple, friendly and hardworking folks who, alongside their dog, gladly visited with us.
