The company truck broke down driving by from Idaho to Arkansas and they were super fast on ordering the part we need it, very friendly and helpful! They had me on my way the next day, 5 stars for sure!!

On a work trip from SLC to Jackson Hole, right around Etna my truck started misfiring and goes into limp mode. I roll into this place on Friday at 4:30pm (they close at 5) totally expecting to be pushed off to next week. Instead the tech pulls my truck in at 5pm to read the codes to atleast give a me a lead. Well, turns out their parts house had what I needed. So they went to grab it, and installed it. Within 1 hour (after close mind you) they pulled my truck out, no codes and no misfire. These guys were extremely helpful, friendly, and really did what they could to help us get back on the road. Made it to Jackson and we couldn’t have if it wasn’t for the awesome guys at SJ customs.

Was on a road trip and randomly snapped my lower ball joint on my 2003 Tundra. Started calling local shops being 8 hours away from home. Most shops were a week out but SJ customs was able to squeeze me in the next day and get me back on the road. Not only did they replace my ball joint, they also replaced the tie rods, and rack and pinion, and looked over the whole vehicle. Sean is life saver and the whole team was very helpful.
I had to drop my (baby)=truck off for an oil change, but I didn't have a ride back. They took the time (they didn't have) to take me back home. But they made time!!! We take all our vehicles here. Such amazing team!!! Thank you!!!

Family was camping near Palisades and hit a dip in the road that caused damage to the rear driveshaft. They had a tech check out our vehicle, part ordered and delivered and had us back on the road in a day. Awesome customer service and so grateful they were able to take care of us so quickly!!!
Sean helped me out with a bad fuel filter install I'd received at another shop, out of state. He was knowledgeable, glad to help, and the job was completed in the time specified. That was the last good experience I had there. Since then, I was charged $250 to fix some motor mounts, and they weren't able to complete the job after 6hrs, and 2 bolts were left out. (another shop got 'em in). I took it in another time when the truck was running really bad, and asked them to diagnose it. They charged $158, found nothing. They said they couldn't replicate the problem, and my receipt didn't mention any items they'd checked, or tests they'd done, only that it was a little low on oil. (which it wasn't. I imagine they checked it after driving it into the shop, and the oil wasn't in the pan.) Having done business with them on many occasions, we had truck trouble again (same issue popped up) and they were closest. We called them, told them we were broke down, smoking, and needed help. They said "We're full, the soonest we'll be able to even LOOK at your truck, would be a couple of days, and possibly a week to fix it." they didn't even offer to call a tow truck. So, based on my experiences, I'd use them for simple maintenance only. They're nice guys, but look elsewhere for anything requiring technical skill or effort. (By the way, the problem affecting the truck was diagnosed in 5 minutes, by a mechanic who worked out of his home. A bad injector wire/connection, which is supposedly common on LML diesels.)

Amazing shop with great folks. I am new to the area so i needed to ask a lot of folks where to get my car fixed and all of them said SJ. They weren't wrong. They work fast and are incredibly honest about their work. Totally worth the cost.
Was on vacation in Thayne and blew a shock. Sean got the parts in and came in on the weekend on Saturday and Sunday to make sure repairs were completed. Customer service was excellent as well as his knowledge! Was extremely happy and lucky to have had SJ Customs in this small valley!
Living in Star valley it can be hard to find a mechanic, let alone a good one! SJ customs has knowledgeable staff, they are friendly and patient, and I recommend them to everyone I know because of the quality of service and repairs they offer

The best repair / performance shop in Star Valley. Sean's knowledge and skill is unprecedented in the area. He is definitely setting a new high standard for automotive repair facilities. From maintenance to more extensive repairs, his attention to detail is amazing. My experience involved performance upgrades to my 2015 Duramax and I couldn't be happier. Honest and reasonably priced.....Sean will not disappoint!!
Sean is a young guy but really knows his stuff. I've had several shops tell me I needed injectors to fix my diesel fuel rail problems. Turns out there was a little leak he fixed with a plug. He saved me several thousands of dollars. Also, he found cracks in my front disc brake rotors. Wow, fixed a big safety issue. I highly recommend SJ Customs for doing things RIGHT.
