Auto repair shop located on near west side of Redgranite, run by a husband (very experienced mechanic Loren) and wife, assisted by “N8.” Expert service is provided without overpromising. I have had tires repaired, replaced as well as diagnostics, all at very reasonable prices.
It will take too long to list all the issues and problems I have with this business! Don’t take your vehicle here! They’ll rip you off! This place has poor office management. I don’t think they know what they’re doing! But, I do know that they will lie! In July, I took my car to Loren’s Auto Repair for an oil change and an estimate to repair a rear main seal leak. While doing that, they found some repairs needed for the front end. I was told I would get a call with the estimate. The next day, the daughter, Nicole, who also works there, called me and left a vm with an estimate. I called back and was told by Nicole that the repair for the rear main seal was included with the estimate. When I actually went in to have all the repairs done, I was told by Vicky, the office manager and Loren’s wife, that the rear main seal repair fee wasn’t included in the estimate!!!! (Why not? That was the main reason I went to that shop because they said they could do the job.) Vicky said she’d have to get back with me on an estimate for that job. Nicole sat there and said nothing. Loren said it was a 12 hour job to fix the rear main seal. I should’ve left then, but went ahead with the other front end repairs needed. When I picked up my car, they charged me more than the estimate. When I questioned that, I was told by the mechanic, N-8, that there was a rusty bolt that was hard to get out! Geez! What a rip- off place! Plus, now my car has a vibration upon acceleration. I took the car back to Loren’s to have them check it out, but they said he couldn’t really determine the cause. At that time, Loren told me that it would only take 8 hours of labor to fix the rear main seal leak. That he didn’t know until now that I had a standard transmission! (Why not?) I will not go back there again. I will take my car somewhere else to find out what’s causing the vibration. Don’t waste your time and money on this place.
