I have had my vehicle to Wilkes on 3 separate occasions. 1 was for a mechanical issue and the other times I got a new battery and 4 new tires. Every time they have been knowledgeable and very fairly priced. They are my go to auto repair shop. Highly recommend them.

The guy that answered the phone had a pretty bad attitude and acted like I was bothering him to ask for his business.

Very friendly service. Bonus points to them for having the honesty and integrity to admit that one of the issues with my truck was manufacturer specific and it was beyond the scope of their business. They won't waste your time and $. Will definitely take my vehicles back for routine maintenance.

Double charged me somehow $325 had to wait 3 days for refund. I know it was the banks that took so long. I would have not had to wait if they hadn't double charged me. Friendly though.

Definitely one of the strangest customer services experiences I have ever experienced. I went to the desk and told him the symptoms I was experiencing with my car. What I got in response was a blank stare. After awhile I could not stand the awkward silence anymore and asked, "So can you help me out?" The shop definitely needs to work on obtaining employees that can actually talk to people.

Pure class. I won’t go anywhere else. A relief in modern times.

Got home from work and found out that the wheel bearing on my truck was going out. We were able to get it to Wilkes when we were greeted by a man named Jim who unfortunately told us that it would be 2 weeks until we can get it fixed. He then listened to the noise coming from the truck and decided out of the kindness of his heart to get my truck in this afternoon instead of waiting and risking it. Jim was a very awesome guy!!! Our wheel bearing went and it was bad he fixed it no problem!!!! Thank you so very very much Jim!

Jim and his crew are fair, good and I've used them 20 years. They are the best place around and we will always go there. We are not related, or friends outside of business. I strongly encourage anyone to give them a try.

These folks are the most honest auto repair in the area.I brought my car in thinking I needed brakes. I received a call saying the brakes still have some life left, no need to replace them now. A pleasant surprise of honesty. I have been using Wilkes for about 7 years for all my car needs. Never been disappointed!

Reasonably priced brought the vehicle promptly to the desired location with no issues.

Had a starter installed, 4 tires mounted/balanced, and an oil change after my car was towed by them. Snuck me in their busy schedule, and was ready after 2 days. Quality work, good price, I give them two thumbs up!

I've been gong to Wilkes since 1994 when Mr. Wilke's father was the mechanic. They are very honest. I never worry about getting ripped off at Wilke's Auto. Did I mention that they are very honest? When you find an honest mechanic you had better pray that he stays healthy because honest mechanics are more valuable than gold.

A very good place if you need help with A car Tow ..... BUT If You Are In An Accident and Your Car is Towed to Wilke's.....THEN You Will HAVE TO PAY $35. A DAY to have your car sitting on their lot PER DAY! F.Y.I!!!

Check engine light was on they ran the diagnostics and it turned out to be an accidental trigger which they reset. They check out the rest of the car and couldn't find anything wrong with it. They didn't charge me for the service and have always been fair and honest with our family in the past. I would call Wilkes first for any major work.

They're awesome. I've been here a handful of times and have never had a problem. They are priced really good too. I don't go anywhere else.

Police had my car get towed my wilke's. The guy that towed out my vehicle did more damage to my car than I did in the accident. The tow guy damaged my engine frame and took out my ac unit. Because the idot pulled my car sideways over rocks than pulling it backawards!!! Then they charge you a holying fee of 35 dollars per day. Which your car sits in a large EMPTY gravel lot by their building. Then they get mad at you if you hire another towing company to tow you vehicle to another location. I have never met a man so stubborn as the owner of this place. highly recommended avoiding this place at all cost. Even if the police calls for a tow. Ask for a different tower.

Best local repair shop around. Jim, Bill and the crew are the best. I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years. They provide quick and honest auto repairs at a reasonable cost. Took a vehicle to the dealer it was purchased from for a "special price oil change" only to be told it needed $400 in brake repairs, took it to Wilke's, brakes were fine! They have also provided me with quick and efficient flat bed towing and winching services. Wilke's Auto Service is truly an Asset to our community!
