They didn't have my exact tire size, but looked up other options for me that would work. I bought by their suggestion and perfect it work fine. Please with the serves I received and it was affordable.
Got 2 engines both NOT GOOD!!!
1st engine I got from them, invested so much money, on new gaskets, oil pan, oil... manifolds... every single little think you can imagine... Turns out they have "Error" in the system and sent me the wrong engine...
2nd engine they sent me... same thing Invested so much time, effort and a ton of new parts, gaskets, manifolds etc... I started it and it was knocking extremely hard!!!
***TURNS OUT THEY DON'T EVEN TEST THESE ENGINES!!!***
SURE THEY DON'T LOSE ANYTHING!!! THE SHOP IS THE ONE WHO HAS TO PUT IN, TAKE OUT, PUT IN TAKE OUT FOR FREE!!! THAT'S $3K ON LABOR & PARTS!!!
I buy 90% of my auto parts at Rhine Auto because they are knowledgeable, fast, friendly, and always have what i need at the best prices. I purchased a transmission for my wife's yukon. It was pulled faster than I expected. Everything is inspected, and it came with a 6 month warranty. I installed it and have been driving the yukon for about two weeks now with no issues. I paid a lot less than expected for a 4l60e 4x4 transmission. I have always been extremely happy with all the parts I get from Rhine Auto. If you need auto parts, I highly recommend Rhine Auto for all your auto parts. If they don't have what you need, they will find it for you. On the pictures I added, the transmission fluid wasn't from the transmission. I spilled some older fluid from a drip pan that was next to the transmission.
Been buying parts here for over 30 years. Very professional staff, excellent part inventory. Very organized. Fair pricing for all. I would recommend Rhine Auto to anyone!

Called these guys for a replacement rim for one I damaged in the ice storm. They were super friendly, very reasonable (dare I say a “steal”). They were originally going to ship it to me for a very reasonable price but since I am an hour away and needed it asap, I drove up to get it. Also found a fantastic deal on some barely used tires. Staff is great, place is clean, feels more like a parts store than a salvage yard. Will keep them in mind in the future!
1/2/23 Review edit: Even though we provided them with the VIN, they sent us the incorrect engine. They sent an engine with the incorrect tone ring, which wasn’t and couldn’t be discovered until AFTER the engine was installed. When we called them to let them know of their mistake, they basically said, oops, our bad! But won’t give any kind of refund towards the labor.
Their mistake really screwed our small business and they’re not willing to do anything to help.
In addition, they also want US to pay for return shipping for their mistake!!
I am very disappointed at this establishments lack of business ethics.
Rhine Auto Inc. was great to do business with! Their sales rep, Jay, was extremely helpful and communicative during the process of finding and shipping an engine to our shop which is out of state.
We would definitely do business with them again!
My wife backed her car out of our garage into the back door of my car … putting a huge dent in it. The body shops wanted $3,500 to fix it. I called Rhine Auto. They had a salvage door for $700 that was in perfect condition and, now get this … with the same Paint Code Color as mine. They offered to ship it but I drove down and picked it up. I had a local repair shop take the old one off and install the new one from Rhine for $200. It matched perfectly! The service folks were really knowledgeable and helpful. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!
I bought a used engine here, it was a great overall experience. The sales team went out of their way to waive a core charge for me since I didn't have a core because the engine was for a project car. Thanks again!
Great people. Been looking for grille for my car for months. Rod Baker wanted over $500 and the part was back ordered, blah blah. Graigslist, eBay - can’t get this for less than $600+. Part exactly as described. Worth the 2 1/2 hour drive. Honest business. A+
Best used parts around by far. They actually have a warranty on the parts which is almost unheard of with used parts. They always have my parts pulled very fast and if they don't have it, it took 3 days to receive body panels airbags and full seat. Prices are also reasonable, not the cheapest but definitely not most expensive. Considering the warranty ill pay a lil more every time.
This place is not recommended.
Let's start with saying that they said on the phone (Rich) that the parts (2 white doors) are insurance quality and not negotiable - well fair enough if quality is that good...
I took a trip from northwest suburbs of Chicago to their yard in Plymouth Wisconsin (147 miles) to buy the doors.
Upon further conversation on the phone Rich was surprised I was coming the same day and told me that there are hundreds of orders being processed and my doors may not be taken off the vehicle on time... he'll have to check.
Well he did and said ok the doors will be ready for us.
We arrived with my son about 30 minutes before closing.
The place is very remote and with exception of 5 people working there it was completely dead and not a lot of things for the crew to do... remember "hundreds of orders" ? - Right...
They make you pay for the parts before you see them which should have been a red flag in the first place, but I missed it... $526 hard earned dollars later they said drive around for pickup.
We did - the back white door had rust at the bottom and was rusty sand blasted on the outside... when asked Rich he said "come on you will have to paint them anyway" - no I asked for the correct color door in good shape... what did you call it ?
"Insurance quality "?
If you don't want them you don't have to take them he said...
I asked for the owner who came out of the meeting and said "I tell my guys not to allow color matching..." - then he pointed out that it is 2013 (exact year my car was) so it's old and he sees no problem with the door's shape... ok he will nock $50 off - no point in arguing they are closing by now...
We decided to put the doors on the car at their lot since it was closed for business and the old doors were substantially damaged and easier to care for inside of the vehicle.
That is when I found out that the front door was all dented near the 1/4 off the bottom along 2/3 of the length of the door - was too busy with the rust on the back door to inspect it properly, my bad I guess...
No point to try to look for someone to talk to as they were closed by then and we had to cover nearly 150 miles to get home...
Lesson learned:
- Shady place,
- Shady, dishonest sellers who will misrepresent the part's real condition to make a sale.
- Equally dishonest owner who is more interested in showing "the boys how it's done" then to run a good business.
Would not buy from them again for sure !!

Dishonest/misrepresentation; the parts where not in the condition described and missing pieces. The sales associate was rude and argumentative; his supervisor was friendly but only made excuses for him and said he would locate the missing pieces from another yard if needed; but has yet to do so after several weeks.
Very good customer service and prompt actions. I dealt with Rick and he went above and beyond in helping us with what we needed. I will def be using them as a sister company in the future. Thank you again.
First door I bought was good. Sold at decent price everything was there. Bought a front door after seeing it all put together told them I wanted it. Came backs few days later after hours to grab it and it was nothing but a shell... they took the time to even pull the speaker. But when it came to disconnect the wiring they just cut it. Not the experience I was expecting.

Never.. not.. had a part i was looking for and at the best prices. The staff is great.. polite.. friendly.. and occasionally funny lol. Yard staff works hard to get parts you need as quickly as possible, even in 97 degree weather. Thanks to everyone at Rhine auto.

Went looking for some used tires which in size 16 they have hundreds of them. Ended up finding a pair that were brand new and only $125. Totally satisfied
by far the worst serves ever had got told parts be shipped out on monday and b delivered on tuesday part never came called and asked about them get told part haven't left yet then got told an email recipt had got sent to me never recieved it so called and asked about it got treated like crap that it was no big deal the guy i delt with was very very rood to talk to on the phone i will b sending my and anyother people ik business else wear
