Friendly staff in the yard and the office. Guys in the yard helped me unload right away. Quick and easy in/out. You can see your weights on the scale. Prices paid were good. Fantastic small town service right in Green Bay.
This is a small operation and its easy to get in, unload, weight and get on your way. The people are very friendly and helpful - they always have helped me unload. Prices paid are comparable to nearby yards. I do go to other yards for larger loads of steel scrap since I don't have to transfer it into a bin. I like to go here for the quick service and that I'm supporting a family operation - they appreciate my business.
Good location off Velp Avenue on the west side of Green Bay. Staff was courteous and helped me unload and sort my materials. Use of forklift dump bucket for loading and scaling large amount of steel was efficient. They don't post their prices on their website as they change daily based on material commodity pricing. Call ahead to find out their prices. Would use again.
SELLER BEWARE!!! I brought in a big, heavy load of high-quality steel and received only $7 and change. I looked at the computer screen, and it displayed the total as $22 and change. When I politely asked the woman working there about this, she was extremely rude and told me that this was the previous customer's total. If she was telling the truth, this means that she never even entered our transaction into the computer and probably pocketed everything over the $7 and change I received. If she was lying, this means that she cheated me out of at least $15 and probably pocketed all of that. You be the judge.
MY ADVICE: Bring your scrap metal anywhere else but here.
