Staff is friendly enough, but for $50 they will sell you a tire with a bad bead so that it does not seal on to your rim and then they won’t let you return the tire for even a partial refund. Definitely will not return here and wouldn’t recommend for used tires.
Shop other yards !!! Went to get a trailer hitch was told it would fit ,sure I could have researched a little more but they assured me it would fit well wrong didnt fit..took it back then I was charged a restock fee for THERE mistake not mine!!
A wide selection of excellent parts. If you can go there I would. Always call first because they'll tell you right away whether they have anything for you or not. Excellent customer service.
I called them after my tire blew out on the highway south of the beltline in Madison. All I can say is the lady who answered the phone Jill is awesome! after what seemed to be 100 phone calls to the Madison area businesses That couldn’t help me, I called Newville auto salvage to see if they had a rim and tire and see if they were willing to bring it to me. After making contact with Jill my truck was back on the road in less than an hour. They brought me my rim and tire without hesitation. Great job guys and gals and to whom ever owns that place you certainly have a gem When it comes to Jill! thank you so much for saving the day.
Great service lots of inexpensive parts for your automotive needs .. just wish they were open on Saturday again it's hard to get out there on weekdays ..
Amazing workers and service all at a great price. They helped us find out what we needed to fix our van, and took the time and energy to get it for a good price.
Owner is very rude. If I could give it negitive stars, it would be -5 gladly. Will do & say ANYTHING to refuse a proper refund. If you have a proper refund be prepared to be belittled, told it's probably your knowledge not their faulty part. Had to buy new part from Advanced Auto Parts, had receipt for the new part guy still tried to refuse saying he couldn't understand a digital receipt that had been e-mailed. Older white haired gentleman has NO respect for women at all, completely has an attitude if you're female you don't belong fixing a car. Completely disrespectful. Make it your last resort for parts.
Car broke down & they came & picked it up for free. Car had enough at 289,000 miles & everyone I talked too was very friendly in a stressful situation. Would definitely recommend!
Most of the time they don't have what I'm looking for but they are very helpful in finding it elsewhere or giving good advice. The other day I couldn't get a power steering pump pulley off so I was looking to replace it but they didn't have 1 and didn't know where to get 1 so they said take the pump apart I bet you can get the shaft out then you can use a shop press to get the pulley and they were right they pointed me in the right direction like always.
Experienced the worst customer service of my life. Lady on the phone was not friendly when i ordered the part. (figured she was having an off day) Ended up having to return the part. Guy came out said "so basically we took the part out for fun!" I apologized and he just walked away. Lady at the counter was very rude and unprofessional. I apologized again, she wouldnt even look at me. Tells me there is a 20% restocking fee, tells me to sign a paper, then walks away. I will NEVER go back.

Great Customer Service. I ordered a CV Shaft from the for one of the Rarest cars in the country. They shipped me the wrong one the first time as they were labeled wrong between Left and Right. Well after the mechanic couldn't put my car together, I called them. They were very helpful with taking pictures of the other one that they had. They even sent it out to me so that I could get my car back on the road!
I will DEFINITELY be doing business with these guys again!

This place stinks! Called to get a quote on a vehicle for salvage, got some nasty
rude old lady answered. Wouldn’t offer anything for it and what the stupid old lady
didn’t even take time To find out is the vehicle had a brand new set of Michelin tires
worth over a $1000 dollars. I would waste any time on these people, they can
rot In their Oily chars for all I care.
Staff is knowledgeable, but the person who takes phone calls is particularly rude without any sort of provocation. Otherwise straight forward and reasonably priced items.
Asked for parts for one of the most common cars in america and was told they had none, as i was leaving i happened to glace and see a whole row of my car. I needed a hood, was told to look elsewhere. When you have 8 cars in your yard with hoods, that's poor customer service.
Just trying to help other gearheads: This place does NOT allow you to browse the yard. Hence, I'm not interested in spending any money there. Schmidts Auto is a better bet, but it's on the west side of Madison.
