Spend your money at a better junk yard such as Auto parts city, LKQ or jantz. Dont go to this place. They have 0 regard for safety, rude employees and want to milk you for every dollar they can. Clearly they are not doing too good if the owner wants to charge for everything and anything. Hopefully it gets shut down.

Terrible customer service. Rude employees. No help from staff. No seating area for the long wait times. Clear favoritism for other customers. Initially they told me they couldn’t balance a tire but when I came back for a new one they said they would balance it, and they tried to charge me extra for it! I got what I needed, at least the closest they had to it. I do not recommend this place.
Chris was very professional and made sure there was plenty of clearance in my garage to be able to safely get my vehicle out, didn't leave any marks and was prompt, very courteous and helpful. I would definitely recommend them. They made my stressful situation stress free through the whole experience.
I was shopping for a radiator when the receptionist picked up the phone and could not believe how inept and unprofessional she was. She had little idea what to look for and was giving me the wrong responses to data she was looking at on her computer screen. I had to explain to her the information in regards to the radiator I was looking for! I finally got impatient with her incompetence and just hung up on her!
I've used Sturtevant Auto twice now (both times selling an old vehicle), both have been such pleasant experiences I had to share a positive review. Amazingly fast response time, vehicle was picked up and gone within an hour (and I live :30 away). The driver who picked up our vehicle (Henry) was extremely friendly, professional and fast.

Received very poor customer service; rude, did not know correct parts or what parts were in stock. Four trips from IL, I'm out $$$ for gas plus $80 for one wrong part they won't allow me to return and after three weeks my work truck is still not on the road. Terrible.

Customer service could use some work! Unfortunately for the 1st time I had an issue with this. At first I left a bad review and now have decided to remove it because the owner Charlie reached out to me and corrected the situation I was put in earlier today. So a huge shoutout to Charlie, Glad to see the management stepped up and corrected what happened. Very reasonable prices and would highly recommend for your future purchases.

I have conducted business with Sturtevant Auto a few times now, and I have come to expect top notch service from them. This latest time was no exception. Chris was very affable, helpful, and willing to accommodate. I have a very tight driveway on a very tight street, and he had no troubles expertly maneuvering the vehicle onto his flatbed swiftly and with precision. The price offered for my vehicle was more than fair, and as usual, it was an enjoyable experience doing business with this company. I will continue to recommend Sturtevant to my friends and colleagues, and will continue to loyally do business with them in the future.
Friendly, helpful people. Great prices. I got fantastic replacement parts for my visor and rear wiper blade arm (my broken ones are at the top of the pic). I could spend all day here just looking around.
Sent email to check on part needed, was answered with "we have the part in the color you want" with the price, good so far.
Drove the hour there and told they only have the part in a different color.
Need the part so agree and pay. Was told they would get part and call me when ready, about 45mins to 1 hour.
After a hour go back inside and ask how much longer, they have no record of me buying part!! Go get receipt, they send someone out into yard and NO they don't have the part!!!! So my son and I waisted 4 hours each to find out they don't have the part. If you do go here make sure someone goes into the yard and checks before you go here.
The staff was not professional. They treated each other more like a sitcom family. But they managed a line of customers quickly, and got my request completed.
If you visit, you may see some shenanigans, but they do what they do well.
My first visit was today and it was a great experience. I was looking for two defroster vents for my Ford five hundred and they had them and only charged me 5.00 for both! They are 15.00 apiece on eBay. So happy!!
Overall a good experience. Employees were friendly enough. They have cheap batteries there only $25. Their tires are $20 each and extra $5 to mount, but they don't balance them. If you do get tires there really look closely for nails before buying them. The tires all have good tread and they have alot of different tire sizes.
