IT is a lot more convenient to ME and THEY are very friendly! Side Note: when you pull up to Place , YOU grab YOUR Own bin and fill it up WITH The Aluminum cans YOURSELF and THEY will weight it and (Hand YOU BACK your IDENTIFICATION CARD); YOU then, drive up to little house looking Spot and GIVE person at window The SAME .I.D. as you did outside and YOU get a receipt back and scan barcode on it at the ATM INSIDE The Place and CASH OUT__Cash in Hand walking out door !

I don't mind going here to memorial yard but they are understaffed at times. some employee's Need to take classes on customer service. The cash out lady is extremely nice.

Everyone here is rude from the guys weighing scrap to the clerk at the window for payout. They cant be bothered to tell prices if you ask them for anything and Ive gone numerous occasions but not anymore, same experience. The prices are low compared to averages in the area. Go to TEC Recycling Center for proper customer service.
Very bad. Every time I'm there, it's a problem. I have taken brass and copper there from time to time. ----- As far as the workers see it. Everything is brass. Even though you can clearly see the color difference. It's still always brass. Grrrr. Nothing like short changing a customer. I strongly suggest going to other facilities.
Horrible prices always. Because the monopoly in racine. ...they pay for dirt. Their sister company in Milwaukee pays double....plus they areore experience then these guys.
If you want good service and helpful staff in the Racine county area, visit TEC Recycling on HWY 11 just west of 45, it's a cruise but they pay much better! I too have taken my business elsewhere because Alter rips you off, has crappy hours and crappy staff.
With a national aluminum price average of .67 a pound, I found it outrageous that they only paid .32 a pound. They should at least have what they're paying listed outside the window, since the person inside can't be bothered with answering how much per pound before you unload, when it's too late. Very bad way of running a business indeed. Never going back again!
