These people don’t care about your calls, worst towing company that I have seen.

They leave with out picking up onless you call them back. Happened twice. Worst tow company ever

I had my car towed from my apartment a few weeks back for double parking, but they never tow the people without stickers that show they pay for parking. I get that you have a job to do but if you’re going to do it for someone who at least pays for the parking, why are you letting the people who don’t pay stay parked in the lot?

Business owners do not use this opportunistic robbery outfit, use an actual reputable and honest company. They will bend the rules you put in place and take advantage of anything not specified in the agreement. They will overcharge anyone they tow and claim it's a standard fee for removal from private property. $250 plus $30 a day storage...

after my car was hit in an accident, my car had to get towed & the police called racine recovery, i didn’t have a say in what company was towing my car or where it was going. the next day, i went to get my car & all my personal belongings out of it. the man that assisted me told me twice that i wouldn’t have to pay to keep my car there since my insurance had to go look at it anyways. so, i went there with the intention of moving it elsewhere, but was told i didn’t have to… so i let it sit there until insurance could take a look. i called a week later to make sure i wasn’t getting charged. i told them i have state fame insurance then i was told “no you won’t get charged for your car being here.” me, being paranoid, i called again another week later to check in & was again told that i wasn’t getting charged. a month goes by of my car sitting in this lot with no word from this company or my insurance. all of a sudden i receive a bill in the mail for over $2k for towing & storage fees. i of course called letting them know i was told multiple times that i wouldn’t get charged. the woman told me “i don’t know who would’ve told you that!” she told me if i just turn my title over to them, those fees will be waived & ill just have to pay the towing fee. i agreed to that, since i was going to scrap it anyways… but if i would’ve known that from day one, i would have brought my car in somewhere where they could give me a couple hundred bucks for the parts & called it a day. when i went in to turn my title over & pay, the woman explained to me that the people that told me i wouldn’t have to pay storage fees probably assumed i had full insurance coverage on my car & my INSURANCE would pay for it. i only had liability for my old rusty car so that sort of thing wouldn’t have been covered. not great to assume that & tell your customers they aren’t getting charged. & get no notice or anything before receiving a bill for over $2k, a bit slimey.

I have see alot of tow truck drivers but none like David he is very professional at what he does and skillful. I highly recommend this tow truck driver.

My car was broken into and steering column ripped apart attempting to steal my car. David was awesome. He had to drag the car no way to get it in neutral. Then he was hooking it up and saw they had also attempted to steal my entire exhaust not just the catalytic converter. Awesome awesome. Thank you David

Racine PD towed our car for being in the same place for 48 hours. I needed it towed from impound back home for the best price. Setting everything up was easy and hassle-free. I met the driver Austin at the impound yard and gave him the paperwork. He took it from there. He was very friendly and professional. I will be calling again if I ever need a tow. Racine Recovery made a stressful situation a little bit easier. Thank you.

Towed my vehicle, broke something underneath my car to where it was not able to drive! Also, Had to pay $280 to get the car out to find out my car is useless . Then had to turn around and pay an additional $105 to get it towed from their (Racine Recovery) lot.

They towed my car away from my apartment and the car wasn’t even parked in the lot for very long at all. Not the issue they’re just doing their job I guess. The issue came when I went to get my car that had been driving perfectly fine before the tow. I paid the 273, pulled off their lot, and literally my left tire popped off. My dad and I called them because this was obviously something that happened from the tow. They pulled up to pick the car up and said they’d call us to let us know what happened and if it was their fault. They came to the conclusion that my frame was corroded so it’s not their fault and in order to get the car junked I had to pay another 105 for the tow up the street from their lot. Very upsetting experience.

My tier pooped off the rim and I need a tow on the coldest day of the year. They were there within 30 min and the best offer around. The women on the phone was very helpful and made sure I had all the info on my receipt I needed for my AAA claim. They were all very nice and speedy.

This place was outstanding. A man named Tyler works for the company. He came to get my daughter's vehicle at 7:30 am. There were no other companies that would give us a decent rate except Racine Recovery. Their rate was 141.00 dollars. The other companies wanted to charge 175 dollars, 275 dollars and the quote right before Racine Recovery came was 575 dollars. I was fit to be tied with the other towing companies, but then Racine Recovery came through. Please call this towing establishment. Excellent service.

Towed my car from an accident scene and took three days for them to verify with my insurance company that they had the car. $40 a day to store the car in an unsecured area. Would not release my car until I came in person to sign paperwork, which my insurance company says is very unusual. Did not verify my identity when I signed the paperwork... They lost my car keys and left my vehicle unlocked while in storage. Three out of five times I called there no one answered the phone. Business is commonly described as 'shady". Office staff was pleasant enough, if unhelpful. Do not let then tow your car or store it on their property.

I recommend this company because even though my car broke at a very dangerous spot on a fast road and I was super stressed out the man that came to help me was very kind and really went above and beyond to keep this experience as inexpensive and painless as h

Unscrupulous business practice by Racine Recovery Towing 5336 Douglas Ave, Next to Finishing Touch Auto Body (they work together). Story: my son woke up Saturday morning Oct 30th to find his car missing. It was parked in an off-street lot at the Maples Apartment Complex. After a few calls we located the car at Finishing Touch's towing lot, they stated it was removed due to improper placement of his parking sticker. The sticker was in the upper left of the windshield rather than the lower left. They demanded $273 to release the car. We brought our Lease agreement along with our parking rules with us from the Maples Apartments, which stated to place your parking pass on the driver's side of the windshield. (no upper or lower instructions) They showed me their rules that had no information of a contract with the Maples Parking Lots, just a typed-up letter. They still refused to release the car as it was not in compliance with the Racine Recovery Rules. I even called Caledonia Police for assist, per the Non-emergency dispatch, they told me "they are a business and if they say they have a right to tow your car then they can take it". I explained we had written proof of compliance of all the parking rules, they still refused to send an officer for a call of service... We have followed up with the Maples Management and they are in agreement with us, they have never seen these rules from Racine Recovery Towing enforcing rules on their property. Next steps to follow... Do not use this business and protect your self from them...

The tow driver was very kind and expressed his sympathy for my situation as I had been in an accident. He made sure I understood what my next step would be for my vehicle before he left.

They had to tow my car maybe a mile and charged me $210! $175 because the police called for the tow while I was broke down and waiting for another towing company and another $75 for a local towing fee!

Towed My car away from my own apartment because I left it there for 15 minutes while I ran to office to get a parking permit. They are the worst and Don't care about anyone. With covid and loss of income I can't even afford to get my car back . Beware. Don't give these kind of people business.

Damaged my car during towing. Claimed zero responsibility. Will make any and all excuses they can

Our car stalled in the right hand lane on Highway 20 during rush hour ( of course). The young gentleman from the tow company loaded it up quickly, asked where we wanted it towed, took it there and unloaded it quickly. He was professional yet kind. When I called the office a week later to get a receipt, the receptionist was helpful and courteous and got me what I needed.
