Great service. Was looking for a 30 year old bmw part and the owner / people went above and beyond. Not many places that emphasize quality service these days, but strandbergs auto stands out. Highly recommend.
Sold a engine saying the head gaskets were bad, replaced head gaskets and wasted 60+hr of my life with a motor with bad compression on cyl 4 and 5. I would avoid buying parts from these guys
Great service, fast communication and turnaround. Bought used car parts for a Mercedes-Benz via car-parts.com and Alec provided an exceptional service experience all throughout, would buy parts there again.
On the advice of my trusted St. Paul Volvo mechanic, I visited the Strandberg Auto web pages and found a very well cataloged listing of potential salvaged parts for my car. Complete with pictures of many vehicles on site and descriptions of parts to be re-used, I was able to visit intelligently with the staff about finding some OEM replacement headlight assemblies. True to my original tip, the staff was more than willing to pull parts for my inspection, via emailed photos. Finding their stock more than fitting my needs, I purchased the parts. They sent out the lights the next day and I was back in business the next. I highly recommend this yard when both price and quality of service are a factor. They indeed treated me right!

These folks are top notch professionals that sell parts for reasonable prices. They don't cut corners (or wiring harnesses!) They make your job easier by knowing the cars they rep, and selling you what you need to get the job done right, and fast, the first time. I have purchased many parts from them over the years and can't recommend them highly enough!
Excellent customer service and easy of purchase. This business was able to work around my option of payments(as in PayPal and no credit card over the phone) my interior pieces for my Volvo arrived safe and sound with extra care and cushion.

If you have a Volvo put them in your contact list! I got an aftermarket trailer hitch $149 valyou for $70. $300 crossbars for the roof rack for $80. Diffenitly worth the drive.
Alec is very helpful with anything you need. I've bought several things from them and every time they are fantastic to deal with. This is the go-to place for spare parts for a fair price!
This place was so helpful and friendly in the past. Now the new lady who answers the phone defaults every answer to no... if you call and get the lady on the phone just hang up.. call back later until you can get one of the other people on the phone... or just go somewhere else.
I have been doing business with Strandberg Auto for years. Excellent service, very reasonable prices, and I am never disappointed by the selection of vehicles they have parts for. Alec always does an exceptional job of taking care of the customer. I have Saab’s and Volvo’s and they are almost always my first stop when I need parts.
Several of my family members have bought vehicles there over the last 15 or 20 years and we have yet to be disappointed.
These guys are the best salvage yard I have ever used. They check everything before they ship it and are incredibly knowledgeable. They are 1000 miles away from me but I order from them because I know I will get excellent quality and quick shipping. Thanks guys!!!
