I do prefer going to this auto parts store. The workers have been very helpful and never made me feel weird being a woman walking into an auto parts store! I think I have only scratched the surface of all that this store and workers have to offer. I will continue to frequent this store.
I've gone here last minute/in an emergency several times, and they've always been able to help me out. I lost the receipt for a battery core charge, but they were able to track down the transaction, refund me the core charge, and print me a new receipt for the warranty on the new battery. Just called them 15 minutes before close to ask for a specific specialty product- they had it on the counter waiting for me when I got there. Great to have a local place that keeps a lot of stuff in stock. I've never had anything but great service here.
1..... 1 helpful employee. The owners/ operators were exceptionally rude and couldn't (I'll be polite) tell the front from the back. I even reiterated what he had said in order to get the parts I was looking to pick up. I was wrong again using his words after I had already told him what I needed with the proper terminology, he told me I was wrong. I'm okay with being wrong. Listened to him explain what ...I... needed and still couldn't tell "front from back" I've done enough shopping at parts city in Amery; the owners are always rude and disrespectful. It's a last resort for me. The worst aspect of all is more often than not you'll recieve an incorrect part. Knowingly their fault, they will not exchange, refund, or take back any parts. Understandable right? If I ordered and was wrong. Sure. But when it's 100%on them. I love shopping local and dealing with family businesses. But heed my warning, do not shop at parts city in Amery. I swore before but, this is the last straw. I'll never do business there again. I don't like being negative nor leaving negative reviews. But this shoe fits. 20+years of knowing this business, don't waste your time or money. Here's rude... they are not even worth a phone call for anything. They don't even know what's in stock most of the time.
