We have lived here almost 6 years and our cars have never gone to anyone but Bill & Courtesy Auto. Bill is honest, kind, and knowledgeable. He has helped us out last minute a few times in sticky situations like a tire leak and even discovered we had bought a ‘lemon’ which we were able to remedy then with the dealership promptly. He even takes the time to chat with his customers and get to know them. Thanks Bill and Team!!
After a tire job that turned into full front end parts up to the steering gear box the standard 7500 lb gear box was put in on a hd 2500 ram that had the sticker and vin for the correct weight to get the right steering box it blew out within 10000 miles 3 hrs away and the mechanic told me it was the wrong size steering box and the reciept even from courtesy auto said 7500 gvw and the sticker on the door said 8800 and the vin showed it tried calling him when it broke down never returned the call will not deal with bill again
Absolute scammer. Had my vehicle towed there a couple years ago and called to ask them to look at it. Didn't hear anything for two days and when I called Bill said he did $900 worth of work. I never got an estimate or authorized any work. When I pointed that out Bill said he would just take the part out but I didn't want him to touch my vehicle again. The part was a $200 part and Bill said it was the standard markup with labor. Here it is a couple years later, have the same issue and despite inflation etc.. it's over $300 cheaper at a reputable place. Don't go here, he's shady and a cheat.
I can't say enough good things about this place. Bill truly cares about your vehicle and having it done right. I needed snow tires and he had them ordered and put on by the next afternoon and figured out a couple problems other places couldn't or didn't care to try and figure out. Top shelf!
Fantastic shop with great employees. Stopped in to check on my truck and one of the techs (Not even the one working on my truck) showed me what was going on and was great to talk to. Would absolutely use Courtesy Auto again in the future if needed. 100% recommend this small town business with great pride in what they do.
The shop does good work but it takes forever for them to complete the work and they are extremely overpriced! I would recommend using any other shop for your repairs.

My car broke down away from home. I limped it into the Courtesy Auto Repair parking lot. Bill was very helpful in diagnosing the problem and examining my extended warranty and suggesting that I should take it back to the dealer. I really appreciated his honesty and help in getting it towed back home.
I brought my car in to confirm an alternator problem and schedule an appointment to get it fixed. After a thorough inspection of the entire car (which I didn't ask for) they recommended a whole slew of fixes that would probably cost me thousands, but I turned them down, as I was only there to get the alternator replaced and frankly that's all I could afford. It was only afterward that they informed me the inspection I didn't ask for was going to cost me almost $40, bringing the whole job up to $550. Turns out Courtesy Auto doesn't do anything as a courtesy.
My dad brought his car there for and oil change. They told him he need a new air filter too. All together it was $225! They also said he need new tires when he just got new tires on the car. They will try to scam you for everything you are worth.
I have been a customer of Bill Paider's at Courtesy Auto Repair for over 15 years. I have purchased my last 5 cars from Bill and have had all my auto repairs done by Courtesy Auto. I have never been misled, misinformed or overcharged. Bill has always been honest with me about the type of repairs needed for my car and will even show me what needs to be done. I depend on my vehicles to get me to work and as I commute daily from Ellsworth to Eagan, MN which is 53 miles one way, I need to have a repair shop and mechanic that I can depend on. Bill has proven over and over that he is that person. Whenever I have had a car emergency, major or minor, he has always been able to get me back on the road as quickly as possible.
