I really need to send praise to the two guys working at O’Reilly‘s in Little Chute today. I had what should’ve been a simple light bulb change, but probably due to the age of my vehicle became way more of a hassle than it was worth, and the two of them still managed to replace my license plate bulb.
8/20/2025 OUT TO RIP YOU OFF! My car battery died and I had to get it jumped to get it started. I then drove to the O'Reilly Auto parts store, Little Chute, WI location. David, older and wears glasses, was the gentleman who helped me. After testing the system, then without showing me anything, he told me I needed a new alternator. I wasn't going to leave without a repair option so I paid the $380 and bought one. After exiting the store I noticed there was a mechanic nearby that was open. I had them test the system and they explained my alternator was working fine and that I needed a new battery as it wasn't charging to the minimum spec. He also showed me that my battery was from 2017. I immediately went back to O'Reilly's and returned the alternator. Then I went next door to AutoZone and bought the battery, which was all I needed. If you're in the area, drive the extra 20 yards and go next door to AutoZone. David was just trying to rip me off, what a sham!
The guy that I worked with when I stopped there was really quick new and I was asking for and went back and found it and got it to me right away. It was a quick in and out. And on this part they were cheaper than autozone.
Went in earlier today (06/06/2025) after having issues with overheating and coolant, I replaced the thermostat and housing the day before, but my car was still guzzling coolant like it didn’t the kids in the movie Holes when the water truck came🥲🥲 an employee- Trent, was amazing. He came outside and looked over the work I did and said it wasn’t leaking from the housing (it was bone dry lol but a relief because that’s what I just replaced) I started adding in the coolant but he took over because I kept accidentally spilling over the sides because my hands were so shakey after working all night, and with the coolant going everywhere it was gonna be hard to track the leak. He also took a peek underneath my car and pointed out a few spots it was leaking from. I’m gonna take it to a shop for further inspection, but his customer service skills were through the roof, he also greeted his regulars (telling me hey that’s terry he’s a regular- great guy! ) and other customers as they entered the store by the other employee working (I didn’t interact with her much, but she was also very kind, I just didn’t catch her name) great service all around from this store, and will definitely recommend my friends this location in the future!
Thank you to Christy and Adam for helping me choose and install a burnt out headlight. It was my birthday and you both made my day! I would not hesitate to return to the Little Chute store in the future.
The guy behind the counter was so helpful. He read the computer in my car and told me exactly what was wrong with it. Took my brother-in-law 1 1/2 hours to fix. My car is awesome again. Thank you.
What separates O’Reillys from their competition, has to be customer service. That seems to be an improvement from when I last visited this location, that they generally will try to help you find what you need. There prices are comparable to AutoZone, Advanced Auto, Napa, etc. But overall, if O’Reillys wants to separate in a very competitive industry, they need to continue to strive on customer service.
Wasn't my favorite visit. Was helped pretty quickly. Only thing was I asked for help with changing the bulb in my head light. Excuse was. They can be tricky when taking it apart. Not true. No taking stuff off or removing anything. Just pull out bulb behind headlight lamp. Two clips had to be pinched in order to get out. Remove wires from old bulb. Do not touch bulb with fingers. Use gloves. $23.38 for one bulb. Usually I prefer O'Reillys. I'm a woman with terrible arthritis and carpal tunnel. You Tube is my BFF!
In general love o'reilly's. The salesperson (young kid) whiny is the best way I can explain. Also worried about closing while in the middle of a large order.
Manager Christie is so friendly and knowledgeable! Quick to help with everything, and knows just what she's talking about when it comes to parts. We couldn't have been happier with the service today and would gladly come back to this location even though we have one closer.
Advance auto and AutoZone were out of the part I needed. O'Reilly had it in stock for $30. AutoZone was $25 as was advance auto. Why do they need to charge more??
5 stars went to O’reilly in little chute. Brandon and Trenton were amazing. My battery was dead. Trenton looked up the correct battery for me (very efficient). Brandon came out helped Trenton change the battery. My car has a bad design as far as battery location so they had to work on it a bit. (Above and beyond service).They were able to get the battery out put the new one on. I usually don’t go to O’Reilly but I think I will be customer for life. I’ve went there twice now once to pick up an air filter and this time for the battery. The customer service is amazing. Thanks guys.
The team at this Store are fantastic! Our car broke down a 150 miles from home and we rolled into this store to see what was going on. Being a small town, we were lucky enough to have one of the employees hook us up with a local mechanic who could fix our alternator in a Sunday afternoon, or we would have been stranded overnight. We appreciate the support and absolute professionalism. Customer service is excellent! Thank you!!!
My rule of thumb here is if they don't have it at AutoZone, Try O'Reilly's. Even though It's my second choice with both literally right next to each other. They have some things autozone doesn't and vice versa. Really knowledgeable and helpful staff here. Always call ahead for parts too if you aren't sure they carry them! auto stores can't always have obscure parts.
They were the only ones within a 100 mile radius who had the fuel filters we needed to get a Gelled up Peterbilt going with a Paccar Engine after 3 pm Saturday. The only thing I will warn you about is the Little Chute Police who had a very aggressive law enforcement unit out who were trying there best to bust sanyone they could for any driving violation they could. The cops work in pairs over there and I warn you about traveling into Little chute for any commerce or restaurant's. Luck will not save you from the harrassment and unnecessary behavior of the law enforcement agencies in little Chute. I suggest finding other towns or cities to visit for retail shopping. The law enforcement are not nice to the working class in Little Chute in S
Having one of its direct competitors as it’s immediate neighbor… O’Reilly auto parts definitely has competition! Unfortunately, I hate to report this but I prefer the customer service, the friendliness, the professionalism and the overall positive demeanor of their neighboring competitor - AutoZone. I called in a specific order and I had to make three separate contacts via phone call to this location and every single communication lacked luster with regards to overall communication style and professionalism or lack thereof.
Being a female, it is usually on average a very disappointing experience when visiting auto parts stores in general.
This location may need to address the need to further train it’s associates for cultural and gender sensitivity.
