Aluminum cans in the garage to the right, ferrous metal in back after you drive over the scale. After unloading, drive back over the scale then go into the office to get paid. Anything over $50 will be paid by check and you need ID. Organized layout once you know what you are doing.
My first time there. Not obvious how to get there, but once I made it the gentleman who weighed my stuff was very helpful. Didn't take long and I was on my way with my money.
Went in to recycle some scrap steel, went over the scale to be weighed and emptied my truck, that was the good part.
Bad part was when I went back to the scale to be reweighed and my truck came up 150 pounds heavier than anywhere else I have went over. Either you guys need to have you scale calibrated or something else is wrong with it
Some of the negative reviews and internet chatter about Goldins couldn't be more wrong. Place is running as smoothly as can be by 20 plus happy and friendly employees and the Gals in the office are awesome. DO NOT HESITATE TO BRING YOUR Cans, copper, brass and any scrap metal etc. to get great prices for all.
I come here an often. The ladies in the office are always great. I’ve enjoyed coming here up until the last 2 times I went bc I was literally yelled at. Once by the guy doing the inside scale for bringing stove cast to him. He angrily informed me that apparently they don’t seperate stove cast, I was wasting his time and “everyone knows it goes in the pile”. Next trip (today) I was screamed at bc I didn’t back up enough at the shred pile. He said they just cleaned it and I should go back further. Apparently they didnt see the giant pile of glass and nails running across the entire width of the drop site. Then the employee told me if I ever do it again I won’t be getting paid anymore. Just to be clear, I was a car length from the pile and was 10 feet behind the others cars. I have already had to replace 1 tire from a puncture here. Stuff happens. I ate the cost of a $300 tire. I guess jumping in a bobcat for 1 minute to push a pile is more expensive than replacing your customers tires. 4.5/5 until these experiences.

Thank you for replying and I understand and agree with everything you said. The guy inside is usually pretty good. He doesn’t even say anything most of the time. Probably only have ever heard him say a couple words that’s why this interaction was very notable.

This place is AWESOME!! The whole process is so easy and quick and the guys in their are all so courteous, polite, and EXTREMELY helpful, especially Laron and Fred!!! And then Leah the money lady in the office!!! If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! Great experience!
Easy metal scrapping experience. Pull onto the scale and the attendant will direct you. Head back to the scale and get paid on the spot. It’s like a museum driving through all of the interesting scrap items. Will definitely be scrapping here again!
Everyone is so great to help you sort your material so you get the most money for the price! From the guys in back , Maggie and the guys,to the Ladies in the office I've always been treated great!!!
I am a young woman who frequently visits recycling centers due to my aluminum can collecting business operations. This means I have unfortunately been "scammed" by other recycling centers or have felt uncomfortable in their tougher work environments.
When I discovered Goldin Iron & Metal Recycling, Corp. I knew I had found a truly untraditional Recycling Center. Their operations are so clearly advertised that I knew exactly where to go with my aluminum cans the moment I drove onto their property. They have made a scrap yard look chic, which I did not know was possible, and I immediately felt safe on their property.
What is even more impressive about their operations is the amount of women they have working at their Recycling Center. The first human I interacted with that weighed my aluminum cans was a woman. The human that processed my transaction was a woman. This is a female friendly operation and I could not stress that enough.

One person told me to go here , another pointed me back this way, then finally was told to head in back, started to drive in back only to have a guy flagging me to turn around in a very angry motion. I've only ever been here one time and I was asked nicely where to go but this place is confusing! I guess my scrap goes in the landfill not what I wanted :(
Very nice, helpful group of people. Fair prices, easy system. Thanks for helping me recycle metals from my home. I made some money and didn't add to the landfill.
What an awesome place for someone that just needs this and that! The staff was VERY helpfull with what I needed and came to find out they have great pricing on metals to sell and I will be bringing all my recyclables to them from now on. Also they will take your name and phone number and call you if they find what you couldn't find that particular day.
