First time I dropped off my aluminum cans at this place and my experience here was very impressive. Prices were reasonably great. Staff here were great and helped us cash in our cans in fast timing. Totally would recommend this place for fast timing and great prices for those looking for a place to drop off aluminum cans.
First and last time there. Had 112 lbs of steel/aluminum/iron/wires, and they labeled everything as iron. Only got paid $6. Half of them were tools, too! The receptionist's customer service is bad. She only cares about what she does and has an "idgaf" attitude. I was also ignored for the first 5 minutes because she was chatting with the recycling workers.
LowestPrices paid in Milwaukee area Go to Waukesha Iron and Metal update still up to there lowball tactics. Called and they said sheet iron 100.00 dollars a ton called Waukesha and sheet was 285.00 a ton.
Very helpful and nice to a first timer. Brought in a pickup bed full of bags of cans. Even helped us dump them in the bin though I didn't expect that. Very efficient. Many thanks to all!!!
Came in today with 982# of scrap! Pre called about our arrival. We were out of there in less than 40 minutes!! I wish I had got the two men we worked with names!! We scrapped 5 different metals, pre organized and in no time at all we were unloaded, with very fair pricing!! This will be my main scrap yard!! The gentleman were beyond helpful. BEST SCRAP YARD!!!
Business is not open on Saturdays. Please update business hours. Phone number is useless. Calling in just sends you through a loop telling you what the business hours are, which does not include Saturdays.
I deal with Jimmy and Nikki and these are two of the best people I've ever met up here two of the only people that I've met up here and the customer service is amazing

I use them exclusively, but I am reconsidering because I drove there on good Friday, they were closed and had a sign stating they would be open Saturday 8-12. Called at 8,and got a repeating recorded message, so I drove there again to a closed gate. Website says they are open.
I was surprised that it was opened. My visit was very quick and fruitful. I'm glad I came because I got a small peppermint treat along with my cash. Nice touch this season. Thanks!!!
Reasonable prices, helpful workers. Rounds up/down to closest full dollar which means you may "win" some times, and other times might "lose". Makes more sense to only bring in when you have plenty so that potential loss of up to $0.50 doesn't matter.
Sure it would be nicer if they always rounded up but working on slim margins that just wouldn't make sense for them as a business.
Wish the hours were longer or if they were open on Saturday but otherwise no complaints!
In bringing in our cans, we noted the pricing of "$.30/lb". In weighing our cans in, we took our payment slip & went to the cashier. We handed this to the teller, only to be paid "a fraction" of what we had brought in. The cashier said "see the note on the window", which stated "payment to the dollar", which meant our extra $.40, or near 1.5lbs, we were NOT to be paid!! I asked for my even lb back, & the cashier said she would let the worker know, which she HAD NOT!! I WILL NOT go back to such a THIEVING location!! They must take pride in the TRUMP way of business, to steal from the workers, ANY WAY THEY CAN, & without letting KNOW until the last minute!!! Don't take KIDS cans here, as they work HARD to EARN their $$$$, & this company won't PAY IT OUT!!!! CROOKS!!
Have been loyal to this location for many years under the previous owners. Unfortunatly with new ownership comes lower scrap pricing? When have tried a few times over the past few months however they are always paying less then competitors literally withing miles of there location. We will seek new recycling centers until they bring pricing back to par. Todays was the lowest I have ever seen it at only $50nt. Wish I would have trusted my gut as we were shorted last time as well.
