I’ve had lots of issues with the car purchased from here. I was ignored when I texted him about the fact that my heat quit working an hour after driving it off the lot. No response. We did a flush on the heater core and it started working again but time goes on and we did a full coolant system flush in the summer time to make sure the heat would stay working and was found with a leaking internal water pump. It was past the warranty so he wasn’t able to help but he did say “I put additives in all my fluids that’s part of my warranty.” Which one might not think is a bad thing but it did make me question a few things. Was stop leak put in it to cover it up? Was this just a coincidence? It may or may not of been his fault but it’s hard to know what you can and cannot trust when it’s just someone’s word against yours. I will give him a positive message though, he was patient about the loan process with our bank because it was confusing and he trusted us, but I do feel he was dismissive and a little rude towards us when we were there. He has reached out now to talk about all of this and was respectful and tried to clear everything up so I do appreciate that. It’s just a shitty situation overall. I’ve only drove it 5,000 miles and had other issues besides this that just had me very frustrated.
I felt like the experience was okay but when I would bring up issues that I saw with the vehicle he would be rude, very defensive, and dismissive towards me, when I’ve been a mechanic at a dealership for a few years. Not saying who was right and who was wrong but he was very hard to talk to.
Had a great experience with Dan! Answered all my questions as well as helping my along the process of buying a used truck. Would highly recommend going there for your next vehicle. Only wish he was a little closer to home.
Honest and up front from the first phone call to the final payment drop off. Dan went above and beyond to make sure this car was safe and reliable. Would definitely seek him out when looking for another car.
