This is one of those truly amazing small auto dealers in our area. He is a Subaru mechanic. He is incredibly moral and believes in a fair deal. And, he will become your go-to mechanic for the life of your vehicle. Plus, his personal story is absolutely beautiful.
I'm not one to write reviews, but we just had an absolutely fantastic experience with purchasing a vehicle from Walker Auto for my (like a) daughter. She drove over from Green Bay to check it out well after hours on a Saturday, only to discover during the final test drive that there was a strange thing happening with an auto-unlock feature that we couldn't turn off. Jim took on the challenge and spent over 2 hours figuring out a creative solution that allowed us to make the purchase after 8 p.m., so she could get back home tonight. He was professional and pleasant to work with and made a somewhat frustrating setback into an enjoyable experience!
Jim (senior and junior) is a great guy to deal with and has always been fair and honest with us. We have bought several cars from him and he has serviced our vehicles over the years. He is great to do business with.
Jim is so great to work with. I've brought numerous vehicles to him for different things and he always does a great job. Reasonably (under priced actually) priced and doesn't try to sell you things you don't need. I also bought a high mileage car from him for my daughter. Brought it back to have him look at a couple of things and he just fixed them. At no charge. I gave him money anyway because there's no way it should have been free. I would highly recommend buying and/or having your vehicle serviced at walker auto.
Excellent service! I have had everything from tires to major issues corrected in a timely manner with detailed explanations of all the work that was done.

After getting such a great buy a couple years ago from Walker I was happy to buy another car from them recently. After a few days I noticed an odd noise in the front end and brought the car back to them to look at. They found, and remedied the problem right away. I will continue shopping at walker auto any time I am looking for a used car.
Purchased another vehicle from walker auto...had no way to get there...it was late Friday night.....not only did he stay..he hired me a ride...when I arrived. ..everything was ready to go... bottom line...OUT STANDING!!
On my way to pick up another vehicle from Walker's. I have worked with them before and have never been disappointed. Today I am getting my son's first car from them. I did shop around to see what used car deals are currently like... on price, Walker's is very comparable to better and on the "shape" of the vehicles for year, mileage, and age- couldn't beat them once again! I wanted/needed a good, safe, reliable vehicle for my son that we could afford....and we got just that :)
Bought a hyundai sonata for a really solid deal and it has run pretty damn well for the past 6 months. All I had to do was replace a fuse once for like 10 bucks and that's all the maintenance I've encountered so far. Definitely worth the drive out there, great people working there. I'll definitely go here again for my next purchase.
My parents have got multiple cars from here. He always has found them excellent deals! Love that it's a family business, locally owned. Mother, father, and son running the business. Great people!
I personally, liked that they are a locally owned (a "mom and pa") business. Almost a "diamond in the rough." Located in Fall Creek, wasn't too much of a drive. Yes, a few minor things went wrong shortly after purchasing the vehicle. The owner Jim was more than accomidating. Making sure everything was fixed, running smoothly, and in a timely manor. Very polite, thorough, well explained, and professional. I love my vehicle purchase from them and would recommend them to others. Great business! Thank you so much!!
