TERRIBLE communication- I called and talked to LCT for 3 weeks about moving a shipping container. Everytime- have it empty, call back when you're ready, wouldn't even let me schedule a date- fine whatever. Called back when we were ready and the guy FINALLY communicates that he wont drive on grass. We're having the container moved to a feild. We've had dump trucks and heavy equipment down here last week making a pad for the container, but he can't do it. Now after weeks of trying to get this lined up- we're back in square one.
Poor communication, doesnt answer questions- not reliable, do not count on LCT for your needs.
Call Don Dens- way more helpful.
Alex is a Hero !! Excellent skills and so very friendly and helpful. We were out of town in North Dakota and my mom was unable to start her vehicle. Called their 24 hour number and Alex answered and he took my mom’s number and got in direct contact with her. She wanted to make it to her morning Bible study and Alex made sure she did. Came first thing in the morning and installed a new battery. I feel so blessed that we have such an amazing family owned company that cares so much. Thank you Alex for going Way above for us
Horrible customer service. The blonde headed over weight guy was basically useless to get information and assistance from on items we had at the lot. I’d be embarrassed if he was my employee.
Our camper sprung a leaf spring going over a railroad track in Superior. Lake City Towing was there in a couple of hours, towed us to the shop, and was able to replace the leaf springs so we could get back on the road! All the camper/RV shops had a wait-list and could only offer looking at it in the near-term. This was a great end to a tough situation! Thank you Lake City!

30 minutes to arrive after I hung up the phone. 12 mile tow, can't complain about towing changes,seemed reasonable since it was after normal hours. Operator was very friendly and informative on close motel.
We were coming home from vacation and had our boat trailer tire brake caliper cease up and start smoking, we pulled into a store parking lot, called several towing services in the area. Lake City answered the call and came to help us in 15mins. Great service, professional, got us back on the road with in a hour. So grateful!
I have dealt with LCT a couple of times now. They are safe, knowledgeable, prompt service, informative, and they have very nice equipment. This latest time I had to get a boat repositioned on my load, Zach, Nick, and Clarissa were a pleasure to work with and were very helpful. They made sure I had everything I needed after we had fixed the load.
Excellent service and response time. Driver knows his business and his truck. I would whole heartedly recommend them. They moved my 32 foot 5th wheel RV and parked in a tight spot.

Blew a tire on our motorhome south of Superior on a Friday night. Called LCT and Jay was able to meet us at the shop. He changed the tire in 90 degree Temps and got us on our way. He even dropped our rim off at Pomp's to get a new tire mounted and saved us the trip. Excellent service that saved our weekend.
Called and asked for assistance with getting my car started and only got a no. No explanation of why, very poor business manners. Very rude. Dont recommend

The best in the business, period. Found myself stuck in a ditch in a fifth wheel 40 Ft Montana RV I was living in with my truck still attached, in Sandstone Minnesota leaning against an electrical power line pole, going nowhere. It was Friday afternoon of the Memorial Day weekend. Called Good Sam, my roadside assistance program, and after an hour and a half got a call back telling me that they could not find anybody to pull me out and that I should call the police. After 15 minutes of phone calls, I found Lake City Towing in Superior Wisconsin, an hour and a half drive away. Explained my situation, sent some pictures and was told that it would be a minimum of $1,500.00 to get my truck and trailer back on the road. I agreed even though I knew that it would be difficult for me.
After getting together what they would need, two angels arrived in two trucks and after 2.5 hours working in the rain, they got my home and truck back on the road. After waiting for my bill for 15-20 minutes, the lead angel got out of his truck and approached me and I met him halfway. I asked him what I owed him and he extended his hand and thanked me for my service. I burst into tears as they drove away. You see, I'm a Vietnam Marine Corp disabled veteran (they must have noticed the stickers on the back of my truck) and that moment will live with me forever. Thank you for the lesson Angels, I will pass it on in your name. God bless you all at Lake City Towing, will never forget.

Never will we get our truck towed from them again! Although they were fast, simple and got the job done, they over charge and attitudes were snappy. I called and asked how long and how much it would be to get it towed TO A NEAR BY MECHANIC NOT EVEN 5 MINUTES AWAY FROM WHERE I LIVE, totally two different quotes. Guy on the phone said 50 plus tax then I get the towing guy charging for 75! Then I called later and asked if I had been overcharged for a 3 minute trip, and he said “no, because we usually charge $105.50 for county towing. How much did the guy charge you,” (me)-$75, then got snappy and said “so actually you got a deal.” Like that was no deal, a deal is matching other competitors prices! That’s a deal! Yeah, so it’s a no for me. But thanks for the tow!
Dont even deserve 1 star. How you going to quote someone 40 dollars then turn around an charge 75 plus for less than a mile trip? Then get snotty and rude claiming you charge more and we got a deal? Smh
Excellent service! Person who posted his disgruntled revi ew didn't add he was 4 hours away! You pay by hour. Zack was most helpful. Our only problem was we waited on side of road too long! Expedient arrival after we called.
Just wanted to say that the service we received from Jay Thompson on Aug 23rd was far beyond the call of duty. When no other tow service would help us Lake City came through. Jay was the best. Thanks Jay.
Very dependable, reasonable rate (they are a medium to heavy duty towing primarily). The guys that work there are very respectful and know what they are doing.
Highly recommend.
Worst compnay ever. Biggest scam I have seen in years. When you call them up they will qoute you a price but charged something completely different. For 30 Mins we paid $800 dollars. If you must use them, make sure to have them fax you thier rates.
