Needed my van done by a certain time as it is our only car. I expressed this when making the appointment that I needed my car back to pick up my children. I also asked to see what was clunking in my front end.I called 45 minutes before I needed my car back and was told it should be done. I waited for 30 minutes in the waiting room and at this point I was now late to pick up my children and the vehicle still was not done. I was also told that the mechanic test drove the vehicle and couldn’t figure out the clunk, then when I asked the mechanic myself what the clunking was he told me he didn’t drive the vehicle. It was a timing belt/water pump job that required a drive after to make sure everything is operating correctly. the mechanic had the owner drive it to see if they could quick listen to see what the noise is.after I had to ask again even tho I clearly stated I wanted this done when I dropped off the car. the owner seemed irritated after doing this even tho a test drive was necessary after my service. I understand we are all busy but not reaching out to let me know my vehicle was going to be done later than anticipated and the simple fact I had to ask multiple times for something to be looked at made me uneasy. I will not be returning.
I initially went in to Fred's to have a tire looked at that kept going flat in hopes that it wasn't anything bad and possibly a quick repair. Amber was very personable and friendly. She squeezed me in their busy schedule. Upon the inspection, the tech discovered I had a cracked rim. They couldn't fix the rim obviously so I had to go home with my spare on which was no big deal. I am just thankful they found this crack in my rim. The tech put all my stuff in the trunk in the backseat for me with care and my tire and rim in the trunk. I was waiting for the cost and Amber, the amazing front desk lady, came out to tell me the owner, Fred, said no charge, I have enough to worry about. I was relieved and very thankful with just that small gesture. When I got my rim delivered, I came back to Fred's and the techs put my new rim and tire back on in a short time. The cost was under 50 bucks too. I was back on the road with no problems at all. This is what a business and customer service should be like. All these wonderful people working together to serve their customers. Thank you to all of you!! I will definitely come back to Fred's when I need any repairs on my SUV. You guys are wonderful. I had a car emergency, pulled in to Fred's Service Center. Didn't have an appointment, they were super friendly and very busy. Even tho I didn't have an appointment, they took the time to see what they could do. Luckily it was an easy fix, and I was on my way. So very thankful for their kindness and professionalism and making time for me. I would recommend them to anyone. Great place to have your car serviced!
Always friendly and honest. I travel 40 miles for my routine maintenance at Fred's because I know I can trust them not to recommend something that isn't necessarily.
I needed a tire sensor replaced and an oil change. I was very happy with the service and the price I was charged. They kept me updated on the progress too. Very friendly!
I was on my way to a car show on a Sunday when my brakes failed. Luckily, I was close enough to Fred's. I left my car and a note explaining the situation. They called me on Monday morning, and we discussed the plan to get me back on the road. I picked the car up on Wednesday. Fantastic customer service. I highly recommend them for any service. We are very fortunate to have this business in Randolph. Very customer service oriented and easy to work with. Always consider best solutions. I can’t imagine having to run to Beaver Dam or Columbus for routine and additional service work.

I was referred to Fred's by a friend. Was told when I had a previous oil change by another business that I was in need of brakes. Took my SUV to Fred's and he checked all over and was told my brakes would be good for another 20,000 miles. So appreciative of this business man. He could have replaced them and been $$ ahead, instead he was an honest man. I feel this is good business ethic. I will surely recommend him to others and return to him for other concerns. I made an appointment to have my oil changed and air conditioning checked on my 2015 Lexus RX 350. Fred and his team checked the refrigerant level and made sure the system was properly charged. I dropped the car off in the morning and received a call that car was ready in the afternoon. The communication , service and price were all excellent . The air conditioning was blowing ice cold on my way home. I would highly recommend Fred’s Service center.

I was very impressed with the way Fred gave me an estimate with options that may work for me before scheduling to have a CV boot replaced and oil change on my vehicle. I was treated with respect, kindness and patience with my many questions.
Today I had oil change and filters and CV boot replaced at a very fair price and done in a timely manner.

I am in love with this shop. The lady behind the counter put me right at ease. This is especially important since I have a phobia of auto repairs. Being a woman who has been taken advantage of in multiple occasions has installed a healthy fear of and clunk, squeak or even routine oil change.
Fred was honest, explained what was going on in layman terms and also put me at ease.
I will definitely go back.
First of all, it was Providential that we had a blowout just 200 yards from Fred's Service Center. My truck was sitting so low to the ground, I don't think we could have gotten our jack under it anyhow, plus we were struggling to get the spare out. My wife walked down to Fred's to enlist some help. One of the mechanics came to our rescue. Short story on that: Within 1/2 hour, we were back on the road with our truck camper and a much needed set of new tires on order.
This is where Fred shines: Normally closing at 1:00 the day our tires were due, Fred came and opened his shop to fix us up. (I had removed my camper to make the job easier.) The tires came at 2:20 and by 3:30, we were on the road.He even cleaned off the blue stuff that covers the white letters on a new tire! They don't do service like that in the big cities!
I wish Fred could be my mechanic all the time but I live about 500 miles from here.
