I just called them because I'm stuck in the snow at nine at night on a Saturday... and their website says they're available seven days a week for emergency towing. But I got a voicemail recording saying that they're closed on Saturdays and Sundays so if it's a weekend I'll need to call somebody else to get towed.
Good work deceiving potential customers and losing money, lol. Never calling them again if I can help it! How hard it is to either do the thing your website says that you do, or update the website to accurately reflect the hours you're available?!
I rolled.my camper van tire with a puncture hole in it back to Ron who was working on another vehicle. I told him about the tire needing a plug. Ten minutes and $20 later I was heading home with a patched tire. Very nice offi e staff and pooches as well.
On our way from Bayfield back to Illinois and we had a misfiring engine. Ron got us in and fixed up very quickly. Friendly service, fair price, sweet dogs!
Rons shop is the best auto shop I have ever been to. We had a flat tire and called them with no one else and they picked up after hours towed us and replaced our tire for a crazy affordable price. If you ever are in bayfield with auto needs go to Ron’s where you’ll meet incredibly friendly workers who do quality work for a affordable rate.
Great experience here! I would give them 10 stars if I could. We were traveling in the area and had a sudden loss of power and were stranded on the highway. It turned out to be a very rare problem caused by a rock getting someplace it wasn’t supposed to be. Ron and his team placed us at their highest priority to get us back on the road as soon as possible. He and the team are very competent, knowledgeable, and honest with very fair pricing for their services. No loaded add-ons.

We were on our way to Washburn to spend the day when our check engine light went on and we needed help! Ron was so friendly, and explained everything thoroughly. He repaired what needed to be repaired, and the entire process was amazing. Thank you for saving us!
Was decent with towing prices. He is now prices gouging for the work. He is trying to say that for 2 different parts to be done on a 27 year old car He wants 700. He acts like people are made of money. He changed it to the 700 only 24 hours after quoting 300. I have replaced the 2 parts needing done myself on a different car and know that the parts aren't that much so even at $60 pet hour labor cost which is a rip off that is saying it will take over 4 hours of labor to do. I'm sorry but to me something is fishy here. Especially when you google the parts and they aren't even $100.
Great experience here, took my car in for oil change and they had fast service, Ron was very nice and had a wonderful seating area for us to wait in. Did not try to over charge or suggest unnecessary repairs like some places will. Highly recommend, bonus was he had a very sweet doggie in the office/ waiting area and my daughter really enjoyed that.
Very honest guy, will explain well & not over charge for services, heck sometimes he even throws in extra for free. Been going there a few years now, he's great.

Highly recommend. We developed a leaky tire while on vacation in Bayfield (picked up a sharp stone from a gravel road). I got the car to Ron’s first thing in the morning, and they fixed the tire immediately, right in their driveway, while I waited. They plugged the hole, had me back on the road by 8am, and only charged me $25
I have nothing but the best to say about Ron's. He was there when we really needed help. They were so friendly and treated us so great!!! THANKS FOR HELPING US

Great work, reliable, trustworthy. We've taken all our vehicles to Ron for regular maintenance. We've had a variety of repairs from brakes to air conditioning to engine troubles done quickly and professionally.
While travelling from OH my sister and I had a problem with what we thought was a brake pad. Ron and crew found a small stone and checked everything out! He is beyond reasonable and very kind and thoughtful! His business is set in a lovely field so it is delightful to even wait for work done! Thank you, Ron!!!
My wife and I can't say enough good things about Ron and his crew! We were pulling our 5th wheel on vacation when the brakes began dragging on our truck. We pulled in on a Thursday late afternoon. Ron agreed to look at the problem. Long story short; Ron's repair had all of our problems resolved early next day and even delivered the truck to us at a local campground where we dropped the camper.
Awesome and quick service. We had a part fall out of our truck. He found the issue quickly, repaired it efficiently and we were back on the road in a half hour. Would totally recommend!
Starter went out on my 65 Dodge Dart as we were getting ready to head home Memorial Day in Washburn, WI. Nobody around because of holiday, left message at Ron's repairs that evening. 7:00am next morning Ron calls me at motel and says he can be there in 5 minutes to get car. They replaced starter and fixed leaking transmission line that caused problem with starter. 11:00 he picks me up in town and takes me to shop to get car. I do most of my own car work but had no choice being out of town. They did a great job, better then l could have done.

Exceptionally overpriced. Didn't fix what I asked, had to have my cat looked at elsewhere. Decided against better judgement and went back, charged over $700 for a belt, oil change and tune up on a van that's probably not even worth $700. Never again.
Had a leaking tire while up north for the week. Knowing nothing about the area, Ron was recommended to me by a local farmer. He patched up the tire as soon as we showed up, and I haven't had a problem with it since. Great service, great price, great guy!
Started off day 2 of our honeymoon with a busted brake line. Milked our way over to Ron's and they were kind enough to squeeze us in. Parked our trailer and hit the trails for the day and they had us all taken care of by the time we got back. Reasonable price, great customer service!
Ron saw me and picked me up personally when I broke down outside of town. Repair was done same day and combined with the tow probably cost me at least 25% less than what a shop in the Twin Cities would have charged. I recommend this shop and would come back again.
