My vehicle hit a jam on my drive back home and I was fortunate enough to be recommended Laxton's for repairs. Their service was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and they were able to not only fix the issue relatively quickly, but they hooked me up with a nearby Country Inn at a discount and free rides to and from the hotel (courtesy of Blaine and Jason, who were wonderful to talk to). I am so grateful and overjoyed for everything they have done. So if ever you need repairs in the area, for great prices and service, I cannot recommend Laxton's enough.
was greatfull. he got me towed asked the driver if he could unhook me he said no wasnt his job. asked him he could park me around back at kenworth he said no. and. thats. where supposed to drop in front everything should of been done the first night right what kine d of tow truck driver doesnt like backing up

I got a flat while on vacation in WV; AAA dispatched Laxton’s Auto Repair. When Jessie came out he was clean, professional & very helpful. He called enroute and arrived when he said. Jessie advised me of the best place in the area for tire repair/replacement and advised I have car towed there instead of the repair shop AAA was recommending. He made sure I knew the address and hours of the place and gave a follow up text once car was at destination. I don’t know (kind of hope I won’t, lol) if I’ll ever need Laxton’s services again, but would recommend to anybody in the area. And, I hope all auto repair tow drivers I ever encounter are as awesome!

Excellent service when I needed a tow. Driver, Jesse, was very nice & professional. They towed me to the garage of my choice & actually called back next day and refunded part of my mileage after an AAA error. I would have never known the difference so greatly appreciate their integrity! Would definitely recommend!
We have used Laxton's Auto Repair and Wrecker Service a couple of times. When they first opened, they came to rescue us while stuck in the snow. The second was the transport of a Conex unit. Great people, very knowledge and a pleasure to work with!
Overcharge, agreed to do service for $500 - $700, winchout from a run away ramp, after the job is done gave $1383 total, nearly double what we agreed on, and said it was their dispatches mistake that she gave a wrong price. This is unethical, predatory behavior, and it feels like a scam.
No reputable business should operate this way. They refuse to honor their word, take advantage of customers in stressful situations, and hold vehicles ransom for inflated charges. Avoid at all costs unless you want to be blindsided by outrageous fees.
The fan went out on my van, I replaced it myself! Could not get the high speed to work so I took it to laxtons to get charged $280.00 to tell me that they couldn’t figure it out! Took it to the dealership and for 799.97 and a new PCM I got it fixed how do you justify $280 to do nothing? Next step will be the better business bureau to see what they say
The crew at Laxton's were very helpful in a pinch! We were driving through on our way to NC from out of state when a pothole changed our plans. They were able to take a look at it within 30 minutes, and ordered the part for us overnight. Nicole at the desk gave us some great recommendations on places to stay for the night, and Kevin dropped us off and picked us up at check in and check out. They were very thorough and helpful. In all the cost for the work was about $250 and the room was about $100 which is a reasonable price for an emergency stop.
Amazing customer service! I went to get my state inspection and the ladies in the front were so nice! They got me in the same day! I will be coming back!

Towing service was ok. But as mechanics I wouldn’t let them change the oil in my bicycle anymore . So with that said and $14,000 spent here I’ll not be returning for them to screw up more of my stuff. They changed the 6.2 v8 in my f250 engine light has been on sense, the horn will not work they forgot to wire it back up. And the truck misses every time I go uphill and in wv that’s pretty often. Do yourself a favor and find a different mechanic before this happens to you.
Nicest people I've met in the business. Responded immediately and helped me on ways allot of companies wouldn't. Took me to and from the motel instead of making me hire a ride. I couldn't ask for better.
These guys totally saved me. Got stranded in the middle of nowhere when my car got stuck on an icy hill. Had to call 911, and Laxton's towing showed up. They couldn't get my car out on the first attempt, but I was driven to a hotel after being out in the cold all night. The driver hooked me up with a discounted rate. I didn't have to pay for what was basically a rescue mission.
These guys have excellent local knowledge. Chris and his fiance were able to get my car out of an extremely precarious position within New River park. He offered to try to get it out when nobody else would. Called every towing company in town. I highly recommend this towing company to anyone who needs services around here.
We are so lucky we found the great team at Laxton's Auto Repair. While traveling on a road trip for the holidays, we had a flat tire. It was late evening on a Saturday -- and as soon as we reached out to Laxtons, Bobbi was a miracle worker at helping us secure a tow for our car and a ride for our family to Richmond, Va. Jeff helped to get us all set up and then Jesse was an excellent driver for the over 250 miles! My friend and I had to have his car towed 20 minutes outside of Beckley where we were staying for the weekend. Jeff picked us up asap, was friendly and funny and recommended some places for us to go during our stay. He took us to the shop then back to our hotel since the car had to stay there. Kevin picked us up the next morning and brought us back to pick up the car. Wendy was so helpful and took care of everything quickly. Everyone we encountered was so friendly and genuine. 10/10 Would recommend! Thanks for all of your help.

Jeff our tow truck driver saved our day today!!! He showed up the exact time the dispatcher said he was going to arrive. He hauled my truck 2.5 hours and we had fun conversations the entire truck ride. Highly recommend.
My Roadside Assistance company dispatched Laxtons towing to retrieve my disabled vehicle and all I can say is, Wow! fabulous service! excellent customer service. The driver was very nice and knowledgeable. He took great care in towing my vehicle. luckily, they are also a auto repair shop in the area that Im relocating to very soon and i will be using them for all of my vehicle maintenance, repairs and of course their tow service. Had some repair work done to my truck there last week. Every garage in Raleigh, Fayette and Wyoming county I went to had no clue where this specific part was. I was informed other place 5-8hrs for labor charges. Laxtons was more than reasonable getting me scheduled and repaired. Would highly recommend this place and will be returning when something else needs repaired
Our SUV broke down at CVS on Sat before labor day, towing was super fast even brought hubby home so he wouldn't be stuck. Guy was superb at his Job. Towed to the house because we thought we could fix it ourselves since hubby's also a mechanic.
Our driveway is horrible, but the driver got it as far down as he could and hubby coasted into the back yard parking spot!
Will be bringing back over to have her looked at. Great price on towing, timing was the fastest I've seen. Even If we're only around the corner.
Will use again and definitely recommend 10/10
