I was stuck in ice within my parking lot and called AAA for help. They sent Denzil from Glen’s Towing. What a great guy! He used the edge of a shovel to break through thick sheets of ice, which was no easy task. And all the time he was working, he was so pleasant and friendly. Thank you so much, Denzil.

Illinois carrier here, called them to tow my unit from Whittaker WV to Beckley WV, i can say i was happy with their price and when i say happy you know what i mean if you have towed your unit recent moths ! Dispatch told me 60-90 min they showed up in 40. Saving their number for sure !
The driver they sent out was amazing. Denzel is a younger man but very knowledgeable about the towing. I will definitely be using them when I need a tow again

Being from NC and working in Cleveland,OH, one of my greatest fears was breaking down in West Virginia in the mountains as I am a black man and then that very thing happened!!! I was in a panic and concerned for my wellbeing. I called around and finally reached Glenn's Towing. They were professional and made my worries go away. I started talking to Sammi, who took excellent care of me with a soft and patient voice. She quoted me $250 plus $27 a day for 2 days. When I got there it was cheaper at $227 and they gave some grace for the storage. Which really made my day. Then I got picked up by Will in a timely manner. I was starving being stuck on the road for hours, and he stopped for me so I could get something to eat. He was very calm and gave me great convo to Glenn's! I was able to pay right away not to accrue a Hugh bill. As this was all on New Year's Eve(a couple days ago).
I came back today and had delays due to getting a AAA membership today and I had to bring the key. AAA delayed me being able to use my premire membership until Monday due to me acquiring the membership today. That is when Nancy took over, showed up and showed out!! She communicated with AAA on my behalf and assisted with getting everything settled!!! She was awesome and made my day. Everybody was pleasant to engage with, and l would recommend them to anyone. I even got to meet Glenn himself!!!

My brand new vehicle broke down while we were traveling from Ohio to South Carolina right by Beckley, WV. Got my AAA, and Jared arrived so quickly from Glen’s Towing. Bring it was a Sunday, dealership was closed and closest car rental was an hour away. Jared went above and beyond by taking us to the airport/rental car place and then dropped my vehicle off at the dealership. He could’ve just done his route that was scheduled for my vehicle, but didn’t want to see us abandoned on the side of the freeway. He was a pleasure to talk to on the ride and so very respectful. Thank you so much for all you did for us, now on to try and enjoy vacation!
Costly but well worth it. Got us off the highway in a timely manner and let us sleep in their lot in our motorhome. The gentleman that towed use had to work in the rain and dark. He was extremely nice and polite
We broke down here in West Virginia last night on the 77S turnpike. We called Boone's first. Really nice guy named Jacob. He had been working 24hrs straight and definitely needed some rest. So he directed us to Glenn's. They have the absolute sweetest receptionist! Had a guy out to us in no time! Really nice guy! Professional and hard working. The cost wasn't bad either. We're on a fixed income, so we were worried about the after hours cost. But, they definitely are affordable. Really good people! We definitely appreciate y'all! Recommend a hundred percent!
As a dispatcher in the transportation industry it's essential to have reliable roadside for emergencies across the US. Last night I had one of our drivers blow a tire on the WV turnpike in Pax, WV. I spent 2.5 hours and called 19 different roadside companies and none of them were any help to us. I came across Glen's and the operator I spoke to (I unfortunately forget his name) was friendly, responsive, and not only could meet my needs but provide solutions. He quickly got me a fair quote for a tow and recommended the tire shop to have my driver towed. The tow truck got to my driver within 30 minutes of being dispatched which is the quickest I've ever seen. Mr. Operator if you're seeing this you're a life savor!! We'll certainly be using Glen's again for future service.
Honestly, I didn't see a reason not to give them a 5 star on my first time. Very nice people and very reasonable on price with the work done fast and satisfying. Chris did a good job finding the issue with the purge valve causing my air not to build up and replaced it quickly so i could get back on the road. 21yrs on the road and i know good stuff
Awesome people! Blew a water hose and my company wanted to tow it 200 plus miles away. Got towed to their shop and the guy’s came out, found the problem and fixed it themselves! Save me a lot of time and headaches! If you need anything in the West Virginia area these are the people to call!! Trust me, been out here 25 years
I had an amazing experience with Glen’s Towing. I had a car in a very difficult place, but the driver, Denzil, was very nice and did an awesome job getting into it and getting it on the back of the truck. I highly recommend.
Our driver, Bobby at Glenn‘s towing was phenomenal. The engine on our Ram dually blew while towing our fifth wheel camper on the turnpike. Y’all arrived quickly and were able to tow our camper to a hotel and get our truck to the dealer. Not only did you tow us once, but you came back a second time and towed the camper to a storage lot once we got the bad news that the engine was blown. I cannot thank you enough for your kind, quick, careful, accommodating and friendly service.
Take it from me, call Glenn’s Towing ASAP if you find yourself stranded on the side of the road. When my husband’s truck broke down on his way to work and I had to call for a tow, I contacted my car insurance who told me they would send someone. After an hour of waiting, I called insurance and was told the tow was on its way, from DANVILLE, which is an hour and a half away. I was quoted it would cost $300 to tow. I was so frustrated, after two hours of waiting, I cancelled the request and called Glenn’s Towing which is what I should have done in the first place. Within 15 minutes they arrived. I hate I didn’t get the name of the driver to give him a shout out, he was friendly, got right to work, and had the vehicle loaded in less than 10 minutes. The best part, it cost $56! When I told him about the $300 quote he laughed and told me that would be for a 3 hour job, which I guess if you are driving from Danville, that’s about right. I will NEVER make the mistake of going through insurance to get my tow. I will call Glenn’s FIRST! If you are looking for a quick, dependable, and affordable tow, don’t hesitate, call Glenn’s Towing. Forever grateful they showed up and took care of me this morning.
We were in route to Ohio to visit family. The valve stem in our right front tire blew. We pay for roadside assistance through our RV. We reached out to them and after waiting over 3 hours and a no show from the tow company they contacted , we reached out to you guys for a tow to the tire company for our tire to be repaired. Colbert arrived within about 30 minutes. We appreciated him so much! Very courteous and professional! Thanks so much for a timely response and getting us to the tire store. Thank You to Glen's towing and Will our driver for making a bad situation for us seamless and pleasant. Being 100 miles from home on the side of the road could have been horrific but we were towed home and Will made it a good ride. I would recommend Glen's to anyone with the need!
I thought I was going to have a horrible, horrible day after my car went kaput today in Fayetteville, over 60 miles from home. I have to say, my tow back to my place more than made up for what could have been a waste of a day. Shane was knowledgeable, professional, and I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with him the entire way home. Thank you for having such a gold star worker, you really have a great man working with you. Denzil our driver was nothing less than amazing! We had an over heated radiator that gave us a tow from the Beckley Tamarack all the way to St Albans! We would had been stranded if not for this kind company! Denzil loaded us up and got us home safely. It’s the dead of winter and freezing temperatures. He made it all look so easy. Try professional. The most amazing customer service hands down!! My boss was being a jerk and they still treated me with the utmost respect and kindness. Was stuck here for days and even after my boss refused their service and I was stuck here they still didn’t change their tone with me as the driver. Continued to let me use the restroom and make sure I was safe and sound. Their roadside service was speedy even in the late hours of the night and came with positive attitudes as well. I was totally freaked out because of where I was trapped and they still managed to get me to smile and ensure my safety. Although this is a towing service, my safety and well being was also a priority. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people. If you are in the area and need service, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!! If my boss wouldn’t have refused service I’m certain I would have been in and out of here in a jiffy, as I watched multiple drivers come, get service, and be gone the same or next day. I had to get Jesse from Glenn's Towing to come and get my truck out of the ditch after getting run off of the Road by an inconsiderate driver who did not stop. Jesse showed up and showed a very professional work ethics and was really quick to get me back on the road again and was extremely knowledgeable and what he was doing. I highly recommend. Not only was Jesse a very professional driver but he had a huge rollback and very limited space to get by my truck which he managed to do without a problem. In the situation that I was in I would not have drove that roll back between my vehicle and the other side of the road but he was extremely professional and knew exactly what he was doing. My truck was bottomed out therefore I could not get the vehicle out on its own power. Thanks again Glen's Towing
We were travelling home to TN from a short weekend getaway when we had a blow out in the middle of the Mountains of West Virginia late at night. We were on the the side of the interstate with 4 boys and a dog. We called for roadside assistance, and Glens Towing showed up and the driver impressively used his truck to block traffic and keep my family safe while trying to put my full size spare on - but as Blane (the driver) was filling that one up with air, he heard a "hiss". He was able to quickly determine that our spare had a leak as well so instead of putting us back on the road on a faulty tire, he informed us that we would need a new tire. Since it was late, we were not able to get a tire that night.
Instead of just leaving us to familiarize ourselves with the area and figure it out on our own, he helped us determine a plan of action to get us to a safe place for the night and back on the road this morning. He then escorted us to a hotel and dropped us off with our vehicle and gave us the option to come back out today and tow us to a tire repair center. I ended up being able to get some fix-a-flat this morning and get to Mr Tire on my own (as my hotel was really close) this morning but he was so kind and helpful, I wouldn't have minded having to call them back out.
We used AAA to dispatch them - and AAA is getting difficult to deal with, but this is NO REFLECTION at all on Glens. They made dealing with AAA much easier. AAA charged me for having to be paid overy my allotment - and Glens charge would have been about half of what AAA charged had I bypassed AAA altogether. If Glens was a Nationwide - or if every tow / roadside assistance service was half as kind, honest, helpful and fair as Glens Towing - no one would ever need a third party roadside assistance plan.
Good people and personal, quality service and fair pricing are hard to come by these days but Glen's Towing will not disappoint or leave you stranded. Thanks Blane and everyone at Glens Towing.
