We were stuck on Rt 68 towing a 42' 5th wheel. These guys were great! They were calm (because I certainly wasn't) and did an amazing job. I can't believe they can tow a truck and 5th wheel as perfectly as they did. The guys were super nice and respectful of our vehicles. They got us all fixed up and back on the road in no time, even though it was very close to quitting time. I can't thank them enough for fixing our situation. Thank you!!
This is a cash ONLY facility even though their window says they accept cards!! ! Our motorcycle was stole and the cops found it and called this company to tow it 0.3 miles from the location to their shop. We were charged $325 to get our own vehicle back because we were told it was police rates since police called it in. I was also told that I had until end of day Friday to get it before $37.00 was added on per day until we got it. The owner said “ call when you’re on your way Friday but don’t go calling at 5 or 10 til 4:00 or I’ll hang up on you.” We got the bike back but the entire experience with this company was disgusting.
Mr. Bland has come to my rescue on more than one occasion. The prices have been fair, the auto repairs have been professionally accomplished and the staff has always been considerate and respectful.
Nice driver! The dispatcher was also friendly and helpful. Treated us just how you would want to be treated in a moment of crisis while stranded on the side road!
They towed my car from Walmart …. When I went to pick it up the car was missing cats, and they claimed that it was that way when they picked it up! Which was a lie because I checked cameras and no one cut my cats! Also, based on the cut angle, it’s very clear that whoever cut the catalytic converter wasn’t crawling under, they had the car lifted! They even ripped my plate out of the back window, so that they could have an excuse why they hadn’t reached out to inform me they had my car. When I asked how much it was, the rate he gave me included $37 a day storage yet my car was parked outside! When I confronted them they claimed that it had just been moved outside, yet somehow it has snow on it and it hasn’t snowed for a few days….The state law is a maximum of $27 a day for a car parked outside! I took pics and documented everything…I’ve just been contemplating what to do with it but wanted to ensure they don’t rip off someone else. Very shady people! I would avoid them at all cost!!! From my assessment, this is something they do a lot! Very shady people!!!AVOID!
Very poor company! All they care about is a dollar sign! Doesn't deserve a star at all!! Very rude. I was in an accident and he is who towed my car. I came to pick it up he was rude from the start. Over 400 to tow. a short distance when I asked him why he replied because of the cop. He was rude when I was getting the money together he was rushing me saying I need to figure it out soon or he would basically start charging a holding fee! They also broke my tierod and CV Axel!!! NEVER DO BUISNESS HERE!!!!!
No nonsense. I called from 68W, stranded with a flat tire. From 1st call till I was back on the road was very quick. Towed, given a ride, 2 used tires mounted, and I was on my way. If I'm ever in need of roadside assistance around Morgantown, I wouldn't hesitate to call Bland's Towing
My car was stolen in Raliegh County and they wanting to charge $290 and it wasn’t even there an hour at that time. Told me to bring $300 and it would cover it. Did and now it’s $460 two days in. So basically losing my car to this tow company because I can’t afford to get out my car that was stolen 168 miles away
It would be nice if their steering wheel holder would slow down and pay attention while hauling a concrete truck southbound down the interstate instead of damn near running people off the road so he can pass the box truck in front of him.
My car broke down on interstate. I called Bland's Towing. The owner came within a short time; he was kind and courteous. Great service! He even waited until my ride came before driving away!!!
Our son attends WVU and was headed home for weekend. We are 2 hours away from him. He hit a pothole and damaged his cars tire rim. On the roadside he called numerous tow companies without success. He called Bland's and within several minutes a very friendly tow driver arrived and assisted in towing his car. The gentleman was very friendly, helpful and highly experienced. As a parent, I was highly concerned for my sons safety brokedown on the interstate ramp at night. Definite 5 star rating from a worried parent.
Was in a wreck and this company picked up my car. They are holding onto it and telling the insurance company that I won't release the vehicle. I have told them 3 times now that it is ok to let my insurance company pick up my car to take it to the body shop. I have even been on a 3-way call with my insurance company and Blane's towing. They are trying to make money at the expense of me and my insurance company.
