Dale was more than super helpful on a Sunday after noon! We called about getting a vehicle towed a few miles and he was quick to answer all our questions in which we called back to schedule it because we weren’t there with the keys. I thought I was going to be early, but when I pulled into the parking lot he was already backed up with the flat bed tilted back ready to load. I jumped in and put it in neutral and he had it loaded and strapped down in 10 minutes and we were on our way! I needed the car unloaded in a tight space, which to find out wasn’t a problem either! I would saw the job was less than 45 minutes total! I paid him (no tax for towing fyi!) and he was on his way! Top Notch Professionals! He may of not had the newest, flashiest, or brightest truck, but if you know you know that stuff doesn’t mean you can drive and tow! Hire these guys! He also has a mechanic and body shop as well I believe!
This place towed my car for $130 for about 4 miles. My husband told them repeatedly not to lock the keys in the car, as we only received 1 key at time of purchase. They towed my car to Marty’s tire in Nitro (about a 2 minute drive from their shop) and locked my keys inside, anyways. My husband called them to ask them to come unlock it and they refused. Wont be using them again, and definitely wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. I have no use for a company that disrespects customers that way. It was their mistake and they didn’t care. Luckily Marty’s tire was able to unlock it for us.
Had to get my truck towed from Charleston to Cross Lanes. In the middle of the night I call Holsteins and within an hour the tow truck was there. The driver was absolutely amazing. This is the 3rd time I have used this company and every experience has been great. The driver Bill that came out tonight went above and beyond and I am so thankful for his services. Pricing was great too.
“i’m 15 minutes out then i’ll be right up” Hour and a half later they wouldn’t respond or answer calls, my insurance company called and they told them that they would now be 2 more hours, cancelled the roadside assistance claim. would not recommend, don’t give me a time frame, ghost, and have me wait around just to go take another call and change the time frame.
Dale was great. He showed up when he was supposed to, loaded my super duty and hauled it to the requested repair shop . All after normal business hours when none of the other towing companies would come.
Called em and they said they would be at the shop to pick up my car at 230pm. I called at 330 and he said I was next…. Called at 6pm and he said I was next again! Terrible service.
I am from Pennsylvania and hit a bear in west Virginia on my way to vacation. Insurance was contacted at 1130pm and tow company didn't pick it up until 4 am. Spoke with the driver several times and he was very nice. He wanted to have me fix my vehicle at his shop but I wanted it done at a dealer being that I was out of state. This is where it gets crazy. This happened on Saturday night/Sunday morning. He said my car would be dropped off Monday morning to be repaired at the dealer. I was hoping to be able to pick it up on my way home from vacation a week later so time was critical. I told him this and he assured me there was no issues. He then kept my car monday all day and said he didn't know where to take it which was a lie. He and I discussed where on the phone and insurance said he had all paperwork needed. He took it Tuesday to the dealer but wouldn't drop it off because he wanted paid right away even though my insurance told him to just get a po number and they would issue a check. Wednesday he refused to take it and then promised he would have it there 9am on Thursday. He finally dropped it off at noon Thursday. Lied about everything and nothing was his fault. Insurance company and the service they use to deploy different tow companies said they've never had this happ Don't use this company if you can avoid it!!!!
My daughter's car broke down when she got off work at midnight at the Kroger in Charleston West Virginia off of Corridor G. Her insurance company contacted Holsteins and they agreed to take the call.
My daughter waited 3 hours so she called the towing company and whatever genius was working on this night told her that he canceled that call because the insurance company misled him.
He would not tell my daughter how they misled him, basically he left my daughter stranded in the dark in the parking lot of Kroger with no explanation whatsoever. Unprofessional to say the least, and I hope someone does this to his child.
You are a towing service, that's what you do so do your job. Sounds to me like he was lazy and didn't want to go out in the middle of the night.
Again you're a towing service you that adbertises 24-hour service but that is a blatant Lie from your website. I will be contacting any governing bodies that govern the use of wreckers in that area and inform them of Hosting inability and unwillingness to do their job.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT TO HAVE YOUR VEHICLE TOWED. they will leave you and or your family stranded.
Dale is a quality American. Our van broke down on our way to North Carolina around 6am near St Albans. He answered our call and could’ve charged us whatever he wanted but he was very reasonable, timely, and friendly.
They were fast to respond, and very friendly. I had had recent hip and knee surgeries, and the driver was very helpful in getting me in and out of the truck. Will definitely call them again, if I need a tow.
AFTER YOU CALL YOUR INSURANCE TO BE TOWED OR TIRE CHANGE THEY WILL CALL AND IF YOU DON'T ANSWER THEY WON'T COME AND HELP YOU!!!! DO NOT LET THEM CHANGE A TIRE OR ANYTHING THEY HAVE COST ME OVER A 1000.00 ( NOT INCLUDING PART'S) JUST FOR ONE TIRE CHANGE AND HAS TORE UP THE WHOLE BACK END OF MY CAR. THEY DON'T BRING JACK'S OR AIR IN CASE OF A TIRE NEEDING FILLED. ONE STAR IS WAY TO MUCH FOR WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO MY CAR AND GETTING AROUND NOW!!!!
