NICHOLSONS AUTO !!!
Beware!! My insurance company called NICHOLSONS Auto in Salem, WV to tow my Camaro from center pointe to Big Isaac. This was on December 3rd right before the snow storm. This Is the reason I’m just now finding the damage. We dont drive camaros in snow storms or bad weather. The lady on the phone says well how Do we know WE caused the damage. I said because the car was fine before if got towed here and hasn’t moved since. Now the front right tire is bent 12 inches to the right. Obviously something happened in tow and they want to deny it now. I’ll just get my insurance and a lawyer involved. Don’t have Nicholson’s tow your vehicles if you plan to get it to its destination in one piece. #ownyourmistakesnicholsons #lawyeredup
We had to call around for a towing truck when our truck/trailer slid into a ditch. They were prompt and friendly in a very stressful moment. We highly recommend Nicholson Auto.
Rude and unprofessional staff. I called for assistance because my car needed to be towed. Instead of helping me, the girl who answered the phone mocked me and told me to “call back when you can speak English better.” That response was not only unhelpful, but also offensive and completely unacceptable for a business that is supposed to provide support in stressful situations.
No one deserves to be treated with such disrespect, especially when they are asking for help. This experience left me feeling humiliated and frustrated.
Was broke down with a blown trailer tire on route 50 on a very hot summer day. The driver went above and beyond what I considered his normal duties and got me back on the road.
This company won't give you a ride, just your vehicle. Very rude dispatcher. Maybe think about getting better insurance so you can not only tow a vehicle, but the person who was driving it. My brother was trying to get towed to Parkersburg and they would tow his car, but not give him a ride with his car. What would they do if you were stranded on the highway? Tow your car and leave you standing there. They probably voted for Harris. Place is joke.
She is honest and upfront. Informs you of the state guidelines to make sure you do not get ticket and pass your inspection. Vehicle inspection was done swiftly with no issues. She was also very easy to talk with!
They illegally took ownership of my son in laws car wen they towed it and had the title put in their name even tho my son in law paid the same day to get it out. The female in the office is a rude and thinks she’s better than everyone. The lawyer said it’s definitely illegal what they did and my son in law could pursue it. My father worked for this company for years and I don’t remember ever having a problem as long as Barb and Kitty was in charge. They don’t deserve a rating but it made me chose one so they got one star. It’s a whole mess and lots of unnecessary costs that Nicholson won’t cover bc of their mistake.
I wrecked my car and went to get the stuff out of it. I had just gotten the car a little over a month before I wrecked it and thought I had lost it forever but the woman gave me the opportunity to possibly get it back at a good price. I smoke grateful. Very professional.
We were told $90 at pickup and then it jumped to $175. Also the female that works at the front desk is rude and judgemental. She thinks she can speak to people however she wants and they are to take it bc shes the "boss". Worst tow company ever.
Took the day off work, found a ride to Salem, and was on my way to pay them $700 to get my vehicle at noon on a Wednesday.. I called ahead to double check on the total and was told that there was no way I could pick it up today because no one would be there that could handle the bill..??
To add insult to the injury, they still hit me for the lot fee that day and continued charging me lot fees everyday. Then they even had the nerve to say that I could've gotten it out that day if I would've showed up.??! What!!?? I even have the phone calls recorded where they said it was impossible to get it... So then why would I continue driving an hour there?? Talk about a racket..
So I had their money and wanted to give it to them. I still wanted to reach an equitable solution... After being cussed by the manager and one of the drivers, I asked for the owners contact information (and you can guess how that went). so after she refused to give it to me, I searched everywhere for their info and finally found them on Facebook messenger. After multiple attempts explaining that I was having a time-sensitive issue that I would greatly appreciate their help with, I never got so much as a response. Sucks.. Especially since I lost a $6,000 vehicle because of some dmv bs and a tow..... Or rather a tow company ...
Some lying crooks.... Avoid at all cost.

Totaled my car and got towed by this company. They treated fairly in price but that is not the only reason for the 5 stars. Everyone at this company treated me as friendly as possible i felt like i was among friends the whole time. For a bad situation they helped make it go as smoothly as possible I am truly grateful they were the ones to pick me up. I would recommend them to friends and family
Let's company zap to lutely the worst tow service ever to open for business. They steal from your client. Severely damage My vehicle. And then laugh in your face and calier they're not responsible. Keep that in mind. And be very very cautious. If you ever get 4th Gen. Do their business.

Walter, the rep that came to my husband's rescue showed up right on time and got the job done quickly and efficiently. We would highly recommend Nicholsons and will use them again if needed. Walter was awesome! He was extremely professional and was very nice. He even messaged me to let me know my vehicle arrived at its destination. I don’t know if this is common practice with this establishment but I certainly appreciated it and feel Walter went above and beyond his job requirements. Thanks Walter if I ever need another tow I’ll request you.
Walter the wrecker driver is awesome we were broke down with 3 kids in the rain with a broken muffler and he did an amazing job getting us all fixed up. Thank you so much Walter!!!!
Worst establishment ever. Less than 8 miles away from me and wouldn't tow me. ALL Towing in Doddridge county is complete garbage. Pretty bad triple A had to get a company from clear over in New Martinsville to tow me thus leaving me to sit here on the side of the road all day.
Great people work here at Nicholson's Auto Repair and Towing. I have had my vehicles towed by Nicholson's, their tow rates are reasonable and they also do State Inspections. I remember my dad use to have Todd's Exxon for towing and inspections. Todd's Exxon closed permanently in 2002, when I was a teenager, we started to use service from Nicholson's since.
