I just bought my 3rd saw from Riverside. Great customer service & a great price. It's worth it to me to drive the extra miles because I know I'm dealing with good, honest people.
If you paid 280.00 dollars for a wheel cylinder, a washer, and bleed the brakes. Then you get in your car 7 days later and the brakes go to the floor. I am writing to formally warn anyone who has mechanical issues DON'T GO HERE. IF YOU NEED AN AIR FILTER CHANGED OR OIL CHANGE OK. ANYTHING ELSE YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED. I noticed this today I have never seen anyone who has dirty hands ✋️ in this garage.
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I found what I needed on the app. Everything was wonderful except I wanted rear altima break pads and the hardware for 25.99......of course the lowest price was 38.00 and I had to have a stihl hat cause I love that the owner is a stihl dealer as well.......any ways there is
Nice customer service will give advice, and he helped me out with when my car broke down and let me tow it to shop so he could get his mechanic to figure out what was wrong.
These guys are the best. Every time my wife and I have needed to have our cars serviced they've done an excellent job at a very reasonable price. Dean, John, Jason, Daniel, and the whole team are true pros and great to work with, always going the extra step. Thanks Riverside!
If I could give this TRASH place 0 stars I would. Brought my car for repairs and fixed it once and then literally 3 or 4 months later had to revisit the establishment for yet ANOTHER repair that they screwed up the first time. And now here we are a few months later with the SAME problem that was SUPPOSED to be fixed the last visit. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS AT ALL. Save your time and money and go somewhere else!
We brought our Jeep Grand Cherokee to Riverside because it was making noise under the vehicle after I replaced my transmission fluid. Dean charged me a quarter of an hour for diagnosing and tightening my heat shield which was rattling. He also noticed that my inspection was overdue and completed the inspection for us. Most of the auto repair shops in the Winchester area would have ceased on this opportunity to find a bunch of other things wrong with my car and would have over charged for the repairs. We are so lucky we found a great shop and auto parts store right in our back yard. They do very good work at a reasonable price. Riverside is now my permanent go to place for parts and repairs on all three of our vehicles.
The best! Missing them today. I expected this! After 16 years of them working on my cars, i sold my house and moved to NC last week. They had quoted me $180 to install struts i bought but i ran out of time. Had them done down here in NC, $400! Thank you, Riverside, for years of service and friendship. Many times it felt like i had one of my brothers nearby. xo

I've lived in the area for over 30 years, from Shawneeland to Stephens City to High View and now Capon Bridge. Any time a car in the family needed any kind of service, Riverside has never let us down. Any time we took a car elsewhere (maybe it was closer or required a dealership's service center) we always regretted it and felt taken advantage of in one way or another. At Riverside, we are always treated fairly and given fantastic service at unbeatable cost. They have also found & fixed issues that baffled others (Ex: We went for 3 years without any of our Buick's 3 car chargers/lighter outlets working. Riverside was able to determine the cause of the fuse blowing as soon as it was replaced- a penny had gotten lodged way inside one, and fixed It- free of charge!) Every person working there has always treated us with the highest respect and kindness, and we are always satisfied and glad we keep coming back. Highly recommended!
I have been using Dean and Company for many years, I am a director for a local camp so I live in the area 7 months a year. They have been nothing but honest and fair with me. They take care of my WV vehicles win inspetions and my out of state vehicles with the same quality care. Dean is open and upfront with pricing and works with you. Doesn't care excessive labor, hes not a by the book for labor guy, he charges you what his staff takes to finish even 1/4 hours(almost unheard of most places 3:02 is 4:00). I would trust Riverside and Dean and his staff with any of my fleet and regularly do. They also tow for very reasonable rates. Give them a call and chance you wont regret it! If its something he cant fix he will tell you right after looking at, won't charge you and will recommend who can. What more can you ask for from a neighborhood community. Any part you need he can have the next day for the do it yourselfers! I feel very comfortable taking my cars to Riverside!!! Keep up the Good Work!
