Ducky’s is a true local treasure. All their parts are very reasonably priced and their honesty is impeccable. Their staff is made of people who you can build business relationships with, and they will remember your face and never wrong you. I’ve been going here for almost a decade, and I’ve never had a bad experience, except when it rains (can get muddy). I especially enjoy going for very specific parts you cannot find in your regular parts store. I highly recommend this junkyard.
If you are using GPS the address for GPS is 444 Virginia Ave Huntington West Virginia. This is a wonderful place to get parts. Called ahead and asked about an alternator for Toyota Sennia and he had it ready and waiting on me by the time I got from Gallipolis to Huntington. Complete with a guarantee to work. Everyone was super nice. Definitely will come back again for all the parts for my vehicles. Highly recommended.
I purchased a 180.00 door for my mustang. The owner himself was SUPER helpful. He's been around for YEARS, and his hospitality and good word is known in this area...well he sent his son or grandson out to retrieve my door, along with another super helpful worker. After getting the door off, the son didn't want to give me the top hinge...I told him I needed it, it was a part of my purchase...that particular hinge was the one that was damaged on my car, which is why I needed that one...well he RUDELY said, "well like I said, it doesn't come off. I would have to take the WHOLE dash apart to get one bolt and that's not worth my time..." I said again as nice as I could that I needed it, and I already paid for it...and he said " I can give you your money back, but like I said, that's not worth my time! " The helpful worker beside him started to try to get it anyway, and he punched him on the shoulder and yelled meanly, " YOUR GOING TO BREAK YOUR TOOLS, I SAID QUIT! " ....and he stormed off, still arguing me that it was not worth it to him, the bolt was located behind the dash, rambling off to himself...the other worker apologized for his actions and wanted to help but wasn't allowed. Behavior like this is why all these long known businesses go out of business once the newer generation takes over. It was absolutely awful the way that boy behaved to his customers AND to his worker. I hadn't had a working door in four months and I was so discouraged leaving there....I stopped my Adkins Ford in miller Ohio desperately trying to find a top hinge, explained what had happened and how I was treated....that sweet old man told me to hold on...he came back in FIVE MINUTES with the hinge I needed, WITH the bolt. I cried...it wasn't just a hinge. That hinge was a part of making every day work correctly for me and my three children to get place to place...Adkins owner hugged me and told me, " those young men aren't experienced. All they needed was an 8MM, the bolt is on the outside. Hold the door open all the way, then Just remove the bolt, and thats all you need to do." I thank the older folks who have ran this area all these years, because Lord knows when the newer kids take over, everything will go downhill. As a mom of three, with no help, it was so easy to put my door hinge on BY MYSELF IN TEN MINUTES...So, if you want to do dealing here, make sure you deal with ducky, NOT his son or grandson, he's lazy and rude, and as Adkins said "not educated enough on these things"
I've never had to get used parts from a salvage yard before and the experience was fantastic. Great group of employees. They pulled a used part for me and had it waiting for me when I got there a couple days later. I'd definitely check there again if I need a part.
Myself and family included have been buying cars from Jay for years. Couldn't recomend a better place to buy a car if you are in the market for a rebuilt title vehicle

Ducky's comes highly recommend by me. Before i go to any of the large chain auto part stores, I call Ducky's and can usually get the same part, like new, for around half the price. The staff is quick to work with you on price as well. If you need an auto part, give these guys a call first!!
This place has always been awesome. Hasn't been there in years, called them, they had what I needed, I came down and they had to get the pump out of the car. They did this very quickly and had a great price on it and on my way I went. Awesome!!

Very rude when they answer the phone. Asked for a specific engine part for a vehicle gave them the year and make but they didn't ask for engine size told me to call back and hung up on me. Will not call them ever again. This is the 3rd time I've called them and it's been the same every time.
I was Very impressed with the generosity of these guys. So much so that I drove all of the way over again from Kentucky to purchase a few more things for my Mercedes. I'll Definitely be back. Nice clean in inventory.

Called and they had the part we needed at a good price and they took it off and had it ready on a Saturday and we were up and running in time for Monday with our truck..thanks..highly recommend!
Been a duckys customer for nearly 2 decades. Great guys, trustworthy and the only salvage yard I prefer to deal with. Entire inventory is computerized, quick take off times, very reasonable. Highly Recommend.
The staff are quite nice and they usually have a great selection of cars. They don't however offer any payment options other than paying up front and most cars are rebuilt. What is cool though is you can ask to see what the previous damage was that considered the car totalled before they repaired it. Super nice people.
never in my life have I ever called duckys and got the answer "sure, we have that". No, instead I get "no, we don't have that car even". I have called for everything from a 96 legacy to an 08 Hyundai sonata. It's always the same answer. What kind of junkyard is this? I often wonder if they just say no not to have to mess with you...
