Had brake line that burst (07 Taurus original line) only 1 (owner) guy working there @ this time, still only took 1.5 days to be able to pick it up! Also, turns out 2 were no good. Cost wasn't all that bad, and WAY less than I was quoted at 2 other places!
Let's start with the old woman in the front.. She was on her cell phone and acted kind of rude when I walked into the office and asked to throw away my cigarette butt so I didn't litter in their lot, trying to be respectful. Unfortunately, she acted like she was inconvenienced by my question when she had to mute her cell phone to speak with me. The guy who was working on my car that day charged me crack prices for a 2-minute weld job on a flex pipe piece. When I got a good view underneath my car I pointed out that I can just get the whole part for cheaper than the $150 he was charging me and just bolt the thing on instead but he ignored me, of course, (thought he had a "sucker") and then quickly & quietly started welding away anyways. I didn't want to cause a fuss, but anybody with a brain knows that's not a fair price for the tiny bit of welding involved and like a $15-20 flex pipe piece. Towards the end, I tried to talk to him and ask him about doing future work on replacing some sensors for me and instead of talking to me he rushed me off and said he had to leave and go somewhere else. I was price gouged to the extreme and really got treated like that, so.. I won't be back again

I had a muffler problem. I called Muffler America and explained the issue. Even though he had 3 other cars, he said to bring it in. He would fit me in. He had my problem fixed within 20 mins at a very reasonable price.
I just took my VW Jetta to Muffler America today 11/10/23 to get my flex pipe replaced. I was amazed at the price, he installed a brand New flex pipe and only charged me $150 and that included tax!
Don't go to these other Rip-Off places, if your needing exhaust work done, go to Muffler America I'll guarantee you'll be very pleased with the price plus the high quality work they do, I know I'm Super pleased with them and will never go to anyone else from now on!

Took my Tundra to Muffler America a few weeks ago and was blown away by how thorough and helpful they were. I needed multiple repairs (including repairs for problems other shops could not accurately identify), and nobody in the area could come close to competing with their prices. Definitely the best place around the tri state area to get any Muffler work done Linden is really good at what he does so if you need any Exhaust work to your vehicle done make sure you go see Muffler America they will definitely do the job correct and give you a good deal also
Superb mechanical services. I will be going back in the spring for exhaust system update. Not yet ready for a new muffler, but when I am, they get the business.
I stopped in yesterday to see if they could do my inspection and they told me they couldn’t fit me in but to bring my truck in the next day and they could do an oil change and a state inspection. I pull in the next morning to drop my truck off and the guy tells me he can’t do my inspection because they have no stickers even though I was literally there less than 24 hours ago and they told me to bring my truck in the next morning. Welcome to West Virginia where nobody wants to work. Don’t waste your time even stopping there because they never have time to do anything
Got my van worked on. Replaced my whole exhaust for me for about $100 less than everyone else. When I left there was a slight vibration noise so I took it back. Just a heat shield he fixed it in 5min. Good guy real straightforward
Getting something on my car fixed is always a huge source of anxiety for me. I know nothing — and I mean NOTHING — about cars and most auto shops take one look at me and know that they can take advantage of me by hiking up the price. Not the case with Muffler America! They gave me a price lower than what I expected and also replaced something additional on my car no charge! I’ll definitely come back here if I need anything else fixed
Just had 2 metal brake lines replaced. Very professional and personable staff. Got me in and out and was very reasonable. I reccomend them to everyone.
The woman answering the phone is very rude. Not sure how you expect to get customers when they are just calling to ask a simple question and are met with such a rude attitude.
I would not recommend Muffler America to anyone interested in honest, efficient mechanical work. I took my vehicle for a simple inspection, which I knew would require a few minor repairs (windshield wipers, fog light, etc.). I expected this and was perfectly content to pay them. However, the mechanic performing the inspection also was requiring a rear brake replacement, which I know was unnecessary. I’ve had garages try to demand unnecessary mechanical work for my vehicles in the past. I know what needs fixed when it needs fixed. Beyond this, the customer service leaves much to be desired. When I called to inquire about bringing my car for an inspection, the woman with whom I spoke was undeniably short and unwelcoming. Despite this, I persisted to trust their business. When I arrived, I walked past the woman who performs their clerical work and serves as their customer service. She watched me walk into the lobby. I waited for five minutes before she finally came in to greet me and ask what I needed. She said, “I’m sorry. I didn’t know anyone was in here” after she WATCHED ME WALK INTO THE CUSTOMER AREA. Poor business practices. Unethical. Don’t trust them.
I have had a couple of vehicles serviced by them. They have always been very fair and honest and have always done great work, above and beyond. I would highly recommend. I wish that more auto shops were like this. This should be the norm.
The guys are kinda rude. Like they are doing you a favor. I waited for an hour and a half for 4 tires to be mounted and balanced. I had the tires with me. Needless to say I left without getting them put on and went to Dave's Tire in Chesapeake Ohio...
