First time ever trying to use Metalico All American. Very good looking website but once I tried to call to talk to human being for 2 days I couldn't contact anyone. I would like to know the prices on the metal. Some way form or fashion if no one wants to talk to you on the phone there should be a conversant giving prices for that particular day or week. Since I didn't get to talk to anyone and was given no info on pricing I went back to my original scrap yard. Maybe someone will read this post and do something about it. That's a whole objective one everybody's calendar time and money. That's the great thing about technology it's why they make conversants and recordings, emails and leaving messages doesn't get it anymore. Thanks Merry Christmas
Turned away my load because they had to use the crane asked me to unload myself even though it was way to much for me to unload after waiting for 1hr the new management is terrible
Honestly if I could give this place less than one star I would. I’m absolutely disgusted with how my experience went today. I hadn’t been there since the place has been taken over by new owners, but let me tell you now I will never be going back after the experience I had today. I went with a truck load of scrap metal. The vast majority of it being heavy stuff that I knew I wouldn’t be able to get off of my truck myself. I was greeted very quickly and politely. To which I responded with “Can I please get some help to unload my truck because most of this stuff is heavy!” To which I was told, “yes someone is down there and will help.” I heard the man over the radio say that I was going to need help however the man standing in the yard just stood there watching me struggle! He walked away several times and came back and seen me still unloading my truck and yet still never offered to help. When I was finally done unloading I was completely over the whole situation! I highly recommend going anywhere else!
Place rips people off and has no sense of what good management is as far as corporate goes ryan and Ron are both slow and need to be fired I don't get it this place used to be right met them and they are bad business men period need fired
This place rips off poor people and they lie on the web sit about time open .wasting gas and turning peie away when they show up on time according to there own web site .stay away this company doesn't care about anything but taking advantage of people
Kinda pissed. Pulled in at 3:32 after getting my son from school. Expecting to have service I walked over and waited for someone to acknowledge my existence. Was told that last weigh is at 3:30. Brought up that the web site states 4:30. The answer to that is the site is wrong
Last week was my first visit and I was impressed. I'm not a regular scrapper and have only been to vans in Steubenville where they are ignorant and act like you are bothering them being there. Everyone was very welcoming and was a pleasant experience A+.
Usually take all my scrap metal here but I will not anymore I took a truck he’d and trailer full of clean metal out there last year and got half of what we should have and then made a trip out on 6/1/23 and they deducted half the weight off saying it wasn’t clean even tho it was and they weren’t accepting Cans either but took cans elsewhere and had some of the metal that supposedly wasn’t clean and other scrap yard said it was clean and nothing should have been deducted and that they can take cans they’re just telling people their stuffs broke down because they don’t feel like dealing with cans right now… so have been loyal customer for about 20 years and will now find somewhere else yo take our scrap that won’t rip us off!!!!! I would give zero stars if I could!!!!!!!
All the workers are great. Good prices and they will tell you if they are about to change. The manager is very helpful if you have questions about anything. I went there with a broken arm and a worker seen me and drove a forklift right up to my tailgate to assist me. Their scales are accurate. Just a good honest place.
Customer service is good. They are nice guys. Wait time was a little behind due to tech problems however they had it fixed quick and we were good to cash out. Great place to take metal.
best prices in the area. and every thing is open and transparent. you can see what it weights on the scale. not like some places. ive taken the same amount of material to another scrap yard in the area, and they said it weighted 21 lbs. the same amount at this place weighted 36 lbs.... they have all of my business now.
Great place an best prices in my opinion. I take all my scrap here an have never felt like I was ripped off, an one of our local yards actually buy from people then take their scrap over to all American from what ive always been told. so cut the middle man an get your best value. Very good service
I've dealt with them for years and I'm glad to say I will not anymore is rather give my scrap away than accept a dime from them I hope they continue to treat people rude and go out of business
