Called for a tow was told it would be able 40 minutes and they would be out. They never showed up and would not answer the phone. The voicemail is full so you can't even leave a message. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I'm Thankful my car was in a safe place and that I could figure out another way of getting it where it needs to be. Please use other tow company this one is horrible. I would leave 0 stars if it was possible.
My braking system failed in my car and I was stuck along I-79. I called AAA and they dispatched A & S Recovery. The technician was wonderful. So polite and easy to work with! Thank you for making this stressful time better for me!
I had a tire problem recently on 79 but was able to limp off the road and called AAA. Don, from A&S arrived and went above and beyond, removing the bad tire and getting me back on the road. Many Thanks!
Can't believe I got lucky enough to find them after contacting several other companies saying they was coming and could help and couldn't somehow I contacted them and they was super nice and even though he didn't have my tire he went above and beyond once he knew I had my son and dog with me he loaned me one of his service truck tires with the promise of returning you don't find them kind of companies I'm very grateful and blessed thanks again
I broke down on 79 near weston and called A&S for help, and they showed up quickly. They were able to fix my alternator the same day and get me back on the road!

Company tow your vehicle. They were instructed where to take my car the day after the accident. It has sat at their lot for TWO WEEKS and me and my insurance adjuster have been lied to several times as to why it hasn’t been taken to the body repair garage. This is the worst Tow company around. They only want to charge for storage and not move your vehicle.
I would give it a better rating if it wasn't so hard to find. No sign on the main road to the place. Even locals seemed baffled when asked for directions. The people however were nice enough...
I got stranded at the lake. They said it would be 30 mins. Ove 2 hours later we called back he said he took another guy first cause he was farther away. Another hour goes by and I finally had to call a friend to go to Advance auto to get a battery. We managed to change the battery and get out of there 6 1/2 hours after the inital call. Very disappointing
My company called them hours before they got here, finally I got a hold of someone and he came out working about 30 mins of my call, guy was awesome, got me fixed up really quick since it was just an air leak in the right spot.
We called AAA, who called A&S Recovery to help us by changing a tire. The gentleman did a fantastic job. He got to our location within the time AAA said he would, and when he arrived he got right to work. He changed the tire and pushed back a metal piece that had shifted into the way. He got us on the road again quickly. I highly recommend A&S Recovery.

Consummate professional, and explained to me all of the towing points on my Audi. Which I just bought eight days ago.
He went above and beyond your typical AAA driver. And I really appreciated his explanation of a car that I’m not that familiar with.
I Will never ever again call A&S towing. I will never use them Not will I ever refer them to anyone I know. The guy that we spoke to try and get us a tow was rude and pretty much told us that we we’re out of luck on getting a tow . We we’re willing to pay and he still wouldn’t tow us. But it’s funny that we found someone in Charleston WV that towed us with no questions asked. So A&S Your service sucks!!! . Never again!!
This company knowingly withheld prescription narcotics after towing from a car wreck. Passenger involved in the wreck had all proper records to prove medication was their own. Company had no authority to do so. After 24 hours and getting the State Police involved they finally turned over the harbored medication. Unsure why the felt the need to do this.. Would NOT recommend this company for any type of services.
Asked them today to tow a vehicle at 10:30am and now it is 4:11pm and they never came to tow the vehicle and apparently turned off their phone which should have been a 24/7 service line. Most unprofessional towing service I have ever dealt with.
Place was awesome and very understanding, I ran out of gas on the interstate and they only charged me for the price of gas. Took time out of their day, even on Super Bowl Sunday! Very helpful and fast. Highly recommend!!
Highly disappointed in this company. They towed my car off the highway, dropped me off at the enterprise in town and just took my car. I asked it to go to a mechanic close by and they took it to an impound over 11miles away with no contact info given. Then charged me $204 to get it back and towed(by a different company) to the original mechanic. If I could give negative stars, I would give -5. Wouldn't let my worst enemy use them and go through the drama I had to.
Fair price and prompt service. We called around and tried using roadside assistance from other providers - but it was A & S recovery which brought us to the nearby mechanic and we were back on the road within the hour. If only we had called them first.
Worst company ever. Went through insurance to get my daughters keys out of her car. Called to touch base with them and they said give them 30 minutes they would call us back. They never did and they never showed up. Tried calling multiple times and so did my insurance company and no answer. Wast of time! Don’t call them because they don’t care.
I got back from Clarksburg from hanging out with family and realized I had locked my keys in my car at the Burnsville park and ride. After 2 hours of waiting and after the ETA, no one showed up. No one answered ANY of my calls, or the insurances calls.
waste of time. Our truck was stuck, and they first sent the wrong size tow truck. even though they were told the size of the vehicle. then when it came time to send another, they kept moving the eta around from 30 minutes to an hour then 2 hours. they showed up after 3 hours. we were over charged, which probably includes the fee for wrong truck they sent. we can't be sure since they refused to provide an invoice. suggest calling hillbilly towing.
They are a joke I called I think his name was John not sure. He would not just come fix the tire he had to replace it. Said let him see if he had one. OK I said call me back. Well an hour later not only had he not call me back he had shut his phone off . So the search was on for some other place got ahold of Zack at Zacks Towing And Recovery he got in his personal vehicle on a Sunday morning 6 am drove an hour to my location and fixed my tire and then didn't wanna actually charge me but he was compensated and tipped so never call the guys at A&S they would rather sleep
My insurance company sent them to tow my car around 9 AM. At 1030 I called them directly to get an ETA. They were very rude, and said they had told the insurance company they would be 90 minutes to 2 hours. At noon, we called the insurance company to follow up, and when they called A&S, they then refused the call, so a different tow company had to be found. I spent 4 hours on the side of the road. If I could give them less than one star, I would.
This business went above and beyond to help me and my husband when our car was stranded in the complete dark, on the side of a mountain. They towed us to a local hotel, stayed with us to make sure that hotel accepted dogs (or they would have towed us to another hotel), and were so kind. They have one of the best customer services I have ever experienced and it was so greatly appreciated since we were stranded and 5 hours away from any friends who could help us out. They were flexible and kept constant communication with us as we tried to find a rental and tried to get our car towed to a dealership that had the right equipment to fix our car. We can't express the amount of gratitude we have for these folks!
Amazing service. We truly do not know what we would have done without Jerry! He was friendly and efficient. Management also seemed very good. They got to us quicker than expected and have very reasonable rates. Top notch experience!
We were very fortunate that A&S was available with a flat bed to come to our rescue on interstate 79 near Burnsville, WV. Jerry was kind and helpful and towed us to a nearby hotel for the night. He made sure out vehicle was safely parked for the night and the A&S team was responsive and helpful in locating a sport tire for our vehicle that was hard to come by in the area. Not only did they go out of their way to help us out, they were priced right which is always a bonus.
We hit a pothole on I79 and A&S was there to help us get back on the road. They towed us to a motel for the night while they tracked down the tire and replaced it for us. They were extemely helpful and courteous and the price was much better than I anticipated. Highly Recommended.
AVOID CALLING IF YOU ARE STRANDED AND NEED A TOW!! Call Fincham's, they actually come when they say they will!
My husband called A&S and told him we were stranded motorists on I-79. He said he would check on bringing us a tire, and call us right back. After 30 min. My husband called back, he said he had a couple of different sizes, my husband said he would take one as long as they held air. He said he would call my husband back and let him know if they would work for sure. We waited an hour, it got dark. My husband tried texting and calling him 5 more times. HE NEVER WOULD ANSWER. He only answered when we called him on a different phone number!! He said he had left a message, but he never did! The West Virginia courtesy patrol operator was there for the whole "not answering his phone" thing. He made a report on this horrible customer service.
A&S wasted two hours of our time, so Walmart was closed, we couldn't get a tire until the next day. So it cost us a night in a hotel as well.
Fincham's was on another job but told us exactly when they would be there. I wish we had called them first, it would've saved us money and anxiety.
