After a very unfortunate driving lesson that ended with two blown out tires for my teen, the Nisqually Towing Team were a bright spot in the afternoon. After using our USAA roadside assistance to call for a tow and waiting 3.5 hours for it to continually push its time of arrival back, I ended up calling Nisqually Towing. They were able to get to me within 45 min., swap the rear flat for my spare, and get my vehicle to the tire shop before closing and got me back on the road.
Julian (who answered when I called) was efficient and informative when I called for pricing and timeline of arrival.
Steve (tow driver) was both professional, efficient, and supportive during in a less than desirable situation.
Both team members who I interacted with left me feeling both confident and taken care of.
If a future tow is ever needed, I know I won’t hesitate to give Nisqually the call!
Nisqually Automotive has been a steady asset! We have a stream of older cars and they have been very helpful keeping them in great condition. They are honest about what does and does not need to be done and we are grateful they are in our back yard!
Quick and reliable help when I needed my car towed to the shop for emergency repairs. They even brought out a second truck better for the job when it was decided my car wouldn’t make it up onto the flatbed via winch. Drivers were kind, and are experts. Would 100% use again/recommend this company!
Car wouldn’t start, so I called the auto shop next to my location, and they arranged a tow through Nisqually Towing Service. Their driver, Steve, showed up quickly and was incredibly professional and kind. He handled my car with care and got it safely to the shop without any issues. Unfortunately my car decided to kill its own battery on my way home from work. Steve was there within 25 mins of me calling for the tow. I was home- car in driveway within an hour of car break down. It’s never cheap to call for a tow- these guys are the most reasonably priced and get there faster than the other companies in the area though. I used another company earlier for a lock out- they were twice the price and it took two hours for them to get there.
This company like I said, are the quickest, most reasonable, and most professional tow company in the area. I won’t call anyone else if I ever need another tow.
I just wanted to share my awesome experience with Jonny from Nisqually Towing! He arrived even earlier than I expected and was super friendly the whole time. He asked the right questions in a respectful way, which made me feel comfortable. It was clear he knew exactly how to handle everything! He jumped right in to help me and even gave me some great advice on what kind of tow truck I should request when it’s time to take my car to the mechanic. I couldn't have asked for better service!
Steve came to the rescue when my fuel pump went out in my Acura. Down to earth guy, was super helpful, and even asked for any special instructions before he hooked up. I am a firm believer in customer service and this exceeded my expectation.

This place is magic! I had a screw in my tire and fortuitously pulled off the highway to Nisqually Automotive. The whole team was so friendly and quick. And I could not have dreamed of how affordable it was! Could not have dreamed up a better scenario for a near flat tire on a road trip. We recently had a leaf spring break on our 26' camp trailer and Nis1ually Automotive came to our rescue! The receptionist was helpfull and reccomended an RV shop; and the driver was friendly and really knew what he was doing; from shorting up the trailer at the axle to expertly getting our beloved RV on his trailer.
Steve is very helpful and knowledgeable. Earlier today, he went the extra mile to look up our vehicle and provided Amazon links to a battery tender that will help us reduce the need to jumpstart our battery in the future. Great experience, already recommended him and Nisqually Automotive and Towing to a family member.
I worked with a wonderful young gentleman named Steve and because l have been ill the last few months l haven’t been able to post how wonderful he was to work with and his kindness and professionalism meant a lot!!!!! This was back in like September of 2024 and l do apologize l haven’t gotten this review up till now, but at least it is up now!!! Steve was with Nisqually towing and he was wonderful, kind, professional and was very respectful of the grief I was and still am feeling as my husband passed away December 1st of 2023 and unfortunately my deceased husband’s family have become greedy , vindictive, and unfortunately hateful and willing to lie and cheat to try and gain everything they can from his estate including trying to take everything from me and they were able to take my car because it was in my late husband’s name after l had an accident ( the air bag didn’t even go off) after l had arranged with Nisqually towing to pick up my car, unfortunately because my car was still in my husband’s name his very slick and slimy son made sure he went in and said he is the executor of the will and he will be taking my car. I would just like to say how kind and professional Steve was to myself while l was permitted to remove my personal belongings from my own car before they turned it over to his son/family because it was still in my husband’s name. Very cruel and unnecessary vindictiveness on their part, but unfortunately that is how some people and situations are. I would just like to state that Steve that works for Nisqually towing was very kind and professional and timely. I would definitely work with Steve from Nisqually towing as he had a very caring, knowledgeable attitude and was helpful and kind, during a difficult time and process. Steve was very professional, helpful and polite. I hope he gets a raise and some good recognition!!! Steve truly made that awful situation bearable and was kind in a difficult situation. Again l hope Steve is getting some recognition as again he was just a wonderful, caring employee and those are hard to find. I had a really frustrating experience with Nisqually Automotive the other day that I would like to share. Before Christmas, I called to schedule an appointment for my brakes, which they had replaced before. My brakes started making a tapping noise after I had to use them heavily during an accident, so I explained the issue in detail. The receptionist told me I could bring my car in on January 3rd. But when I called on the 3rd to confirm, they told me there were no openings and that I’d have to wait until January 15th. This was beyond frustrating because it completely went against what I was told earlier, and being given such a small window to bring my car in felt unreasonable.It then took over ten days of constant calls just to get in touch with a manager, even though they kept promising someone would call me back—which never happened. When I finally got through, they scheduled me for January 15th at 2 PM. On the day of the appointment, I brought my car in expecting them to actually inspect it properly. Instead, the mechanic just took it for a quick drive. At first, he said he didn’t hear the tapping noise I described (which happens every single time I press the brake pedal). Then he completely contradicted himself by saying he did hear a tapping noise but claimed it was caused by a relay under the dashboard. That explanation made no sense because the noise clearly happens when pressing the brake pedal—it has nothing to do with the dashboard or any relay.What really made it clear they didn’t want to deal with my issue was when I asked what to do if the tapping noise continued. The mechanic told me to take my car to Brian’s Auto Shop—basically passing me off to someone else instead of fixing the problem themselves. It felt like they didn’t care about helping me at all.The whole experience was unacceptable. Their communication was terrible from start to finish, they didn’t take my concerns seriously, and the mechanic’s explanations were inconsistent and unhelpful. I won’t be going back to Nisqually Automotive, and based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
UPDATE:
about a year and a half ago, Nisqually Automotive told they performed a coolant flush, changed the radiator cap, and replaced the thermostat. When I drove out of the parking lot, and on Marvin rd., my car started overheating. I had to pull over immediately, and call them back. First, they didn't offer a tow back to the shop, so I waited for it to cool down, and carefully drove it back to the shop for them to fix it. I was told it just needed air pockets out. For the a year and half, the temperature, and coolant system seemed normal until i suddenly overheated. Upon inspecting the hoses for the upper radiator, I noticed a huge hole blown out of the hose. I had to buy a new thermostat, upper and lower rad hose, filler neck for going securing the thermostat, radiator cap, hose clamps, coolant, oil, and oil filter. Upon removing the thermostat, I noticed it was off-set. For my particular car, there a re notches that are suppose to line up when placing in the filler neck. Its oriented to go in only one way. However, a year and a half ago, Nisqually Automotive carelessly put in the thermostat without lining it up properly. this means that, for a year and a half, my car was slowly leaking oil in the coolant, and coolant in the oil. It built up over time enough to block the coolant system, and the hose to explode a hole in its side. I replaced the hoses, filler neck and thermostat, and I performed a coolant flush with distilled water, but first drained the old coolant by removing the lower rad hose (no petcock, and is likely why the mechanic failed to actually flush the whole system) and nothing but mud came out. I let it run for 10 min with distilled water and heat on high with the new thermostat seated correctly, I drained the water, and replaced it with pre diluted coolant, and since then my car has been running like a champ. I called Nisqually to speak with the manager to let him know of the situation, but I was dismissed. I Do NOT recommend!

This company and its driver Patrick. We came over the pass in our motorhome and as soon as we got on SR18, our serpentine belt broke. We overheated and we were in a construction zone. Service was fast and Patrick calmed me down and got us home safe and sound.
Steve came out tonight to grab my new Audi. Incredible care and attention to detail. This guy spares no moment and gets it right. Will definitely have him tow the audi when it breaks again.
