Ladies, take a man with you if you visit this place. The man there is a real creeper and kept coming toward me asking if I had a husband and if he was with me. I had to back up almost all the way to the road because he wouldn't back off.
On second thought, just don't go here at all. If you need scrap yard items, you're better off going to Pick and Save in Spokane.
I did not feel at all safe at Chewelah Recycling.
I called two weeks prior asking if they paid for tin, their answer was, "yes we do!". I drove 30 mins with a load of scrap tin and I was told, you'll have to go to Spokane to get paid for tin" so I left with my truck load of tin. In short, they lie.
