Stopped in to get estimates on some parts. They were very helpful and quoted about a thousand dollars less than anywhere else i had gone for estimates. It's Definatly worth stopping in if you're looking to save some dollars. :)

Ordered $1200 worth of parts. Went to put the bumper on, and it's the wrong bumper. They won't exchange or return it, because we didn't keep the plastic wrap that it came it. Pretty crappy business.

Absolutely LOVE that you can get hard to find parts locally. Efficient, even IF they have to order the item. Both times they were days early. But why the 1 star review you ask? Well, when you are talked down to, and treated as if you are incompetent by an employee and then the manager/supervisor actually states that they felt the employee handled things well... Well, THAT IS an issue. Now I don't know IF they asked if the vehicle was a 2 door or 4 door, and when I picked up the fender I failed to look at the invoice. I was excited to get my fender. But when I realized the fender was wrong, I see on the invoice it was for a 4 door NOT a 2 door. (This is my personal vehicle, not a customer's, so I KNOW it's a 2 door.) The response when I explained the issue was a VERY snide "and when did your 4 door become a 2 door". He was an absolutely rude and condescending. Fortunately I was able to pay more for the corrected fender but when I spoke with Todd he just replied that he felt Jim had handled things appropriately. Customer service is huge, there's no reason to be ugly or rude. Bill that works there is sweet but I was shocked to be spoken to so poorly. Unfortunately being a female on the fringes of the automotive industry this happens too often. Great parts but watch out for the lack of civility and double check your orders BEFORE you leave.
After a horrific experience at Road Sport in Post Falls, A Star really stepped up! They were extremely friendly and quick to help me get my back truck window replaced with the correct one and they even installed it correctly (unlike the other place)! I walked into their building on Monday, scheduled for Wednesday and was in and out in a hour with a fantastic new window! Huge kudos They will always be my first call now.
My experience was awesome to say the least .the guy Jeff was super knowledgeable and helpful... Unlike the other salesman there.... They should change the name to J Starr distributing
Those lady’s in the counting department are fantastic. There so pleasant to talk to and the salesmen are so nice and can get you whatever you need. 5 star for sure. They also have a candy machine. and they give you quarters
Great service, great price, great quality! My car window was broken over night. Jeff was super helpful and got me in same day. They cleaned the glass up and did a beautiful job on the replacement.
I live over in the CDA area and was desperately looking for a radiator for my ‘05 Outback. I called A Star and a guy named Jeff went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed. The price was reasonable, the service was amazing, 10 out of 10 I would highly recommend!!!

Not very impressed with the windshield installation on my Chevy suburban. Installer left a large gap at the top of the windshield that doesn’t look very nice and he scratch the paint a little. The tow mirrors I ordered did not plug into the factory wire harness, so called to see about ordering different mirrors. Guy was supposed to call me back with information never called back. So far not very impressed with these guys
I bought all four sets of the lightbulb enclosures for this truck the two upper headlamps and the two lower parking light enclosures and once again these have been fogging on the inside. For $30 more I bought all 4 at the dealership which work fine
Their sign literally read (not word for word) something like: "we have the parts for your auto emergency" possibly worded different.
Anyways long story short a rock pierced my radiator on way yo pick up a friend, my car had steam coming up from hood at next light. I made it to a gas station and considered my options (I'm a mechanic and know the local area) I contemplated hitting the junkyard but it would take me 2 times as long to get a part that might not be very good. Then I remembered A STAR was less than a block away! "But what time do they close?!?!" I thought.... It was 5:12 pm and I looked online it showed closes at 5:30 pm. I figured with having a civic it might be a part they carry in stock. I swung in and in less than 10 minutes I had the best deal on a new radiator I was gonna be able to get in town and was able to get back to the gas station and change it out refill my coolant and pick up my friend. 55$! For the radiator and back on the road in under 30 minutes saving me a headache and tow bill.

They are very professional and do their best to get you the collision repair parts that you need to get your car fixed up and looking good again. The auto body parts the provide have always fit perfectly without any hassle.
Trash company. Told them the make and model of the car and motor size, everything they asked me for and was sold the incorrect parts, in fact sold me part to two different modlem of the car and didn't even try to make it right just told me there the wrong parts and that I need to buy a different piece that is $100 more than they told me at the beginning. Told me there was to many different models of the car to know which one I actually needed, isn't there company kind of the point as to why we call to make sure that a knowledgeable staff member gets me the correct part. Won't be going back or referring anyone to this place.
Made an appointment to buy a new windshield and have it installed.
Looking back on my experience I should have seen something went wrong
They said an hour and it took two and a half hours.
Got my car back and it had tape holding the trim on.
Again I probably should have said more but I trusted then. Had friends and family recommend them.
Told me after a day or so the glue would be set and tape could come off.
Ok, no problem.
Went to work the next day. Got off work and driving home wind got under the trim and peeled the tape off with it.
Saturday I googled a utube video on how to remove that piece.
Took it off and saw they busted the whole top half and clips.
Again looking back they charged me for extra clips when I payed my bill.
Didn't know so I let it go.
The glue drying and tape was not for the glass, but the trim they broke.
This is what they do.
Sell replacement mirrors, turn signals, trim.
I am mad at myself for not asking more questions, but more mad at them for not saying anything.
Tape and glue and sending me out the door.

I went and talked to them Monday morning.
They listened and agreed to make it right
Ordered a new part.
Called Wednesday and said it was in.
Went in Thursday and they installed it no charge.
I appreciate them doing that

Horrible customer service. Idiot salesman is so busy to look up a part that I have to drive home to get a receipt to check if they sold me the correct part in the 1st place. People please avoid them. Not worth the few bucks saving VS what you will be going through to just check if the sold you the correct part. In the end its junk anyways and does not fit.
I had them install a windshield in my van on Tuesday 3/14/17. They left some tape on that they said had to stay on for 24 hours. I removed the tape on Wednesday and the paint under the tape peeled off with it. I called them today, Thursday 3/16/17 and they said to bring it in so they could look at it. After looking at it they acted like it shouldn't be a big deal because there is other paint wear on the roof. I told them the point is, I am trying to make it look better, not worse, and the tape that they put on pulled the paint off. They admitted that the only way to fix it correctly was to paint the whole roof and they were not willing to do that. He offered to attempt to patch the peeled spots or give me a partial refund. I told him i wanted it to look decent and he admitted patching wasn't going to look right. Eventually he told me the only thing he would do is give me a full refund and he would never work on my van again. They also kept going back and forth between saying that had never happened before and it is a common problem with gm.
I sent my son to A Star after getting a bid on a job in Cheney and felt like he was getting ripped off. The guys at A Star fixed his car on the spot for hundreds of dollars less than the other shop. Thanks for being so helpful!
Worst company I ever used. Had a truck windshield replaced and it cracked again the next day. Also had a pickup windshield replaced an they did not use a new rubber seal around window. Of course it leaked bad. They were going to charge me again to install the new seal. Both times was their falt. The way I was treated by the owner I will never be back.
I had a broken tail light, they were able to get next day delivery and they were sooooo nice and polite!
And Josh was the guy who helped install it for me! Thank you guys so much! Really great place to go for parts and amazing service!!!
Jeff is the guy to talk to!!! Got me beat deal in town on hood and fender. Great prices amazing service they got almost everything in stock that beats allot of competitors and pricing is just right!!
