My second favorite antique store in Spokane. All the staff are so excellent and the vendors have clean, quality pieces. It's easy to walk through and browse the displays, and feel free to come back weekend after weekend as the set ups rotate all the time with fresh stuff. Prices are fair!
Disappointing
I want to write an honest review about my experience here. I am disappointed in the service I had and I feel as though this is my only retribution. I rode my bike by the store and saw the most beautiful dress in the window. It was everything I have ever wanted in a dress. The store was closed, so I came back the next morning. I asked the woman working to take it off the mannequin for me to let me try it on. I tried the dress on and I was so happy. It was expensive, $125, but I was willing to pay that much because I loved it so much. I was okay with the price also because I thought this was the dress I would wear at my wedding reception. The dress felt like it was made for me. It fit me perfectly everywhere except I couldn’t get it to zip up all of the way. I told the salesperson about it and said that I wanted this dress so badly that I was going to go to alterations places to see what my options are. I said if I couldn’t get it done I would call her by the end of the day to let her know. She gave me their business card with the number and said she wouldn’t put it back on the mannequin. I drove across town and to three different places to show them photos of the dress and find out my options. I finally found someone who would love to alter it and wasn’t booked out very far. Excitedly, I came back to the store. It had been maybe two hours since I left. But when I got there, the salesperson told me very flippantly “I sold the dress to someone else.” I am very disappointed because as anyone else who loves vintage attire knows, this isn’t something that I can replace or buy somewhere else. It is gone forever. I wish I could have been made aware of my options, because had I known that she would have sold it to someone when I was out looking for a seamstress, I would have bought it immediately. I feel disappointed that the dress is gone, that she sold it to someone else when she knew I was out looking for a seamstress, that I wasted hours at this store and looking for a seamstress, and that she was dismissive and rude when I returned. I expected a local shop to have integrity, but this one does not. I am very disappointed and my only course of action is to let others know of my experience, and to tell my friends and family not to shop here.
1889 Salvage Co. Is a wonderfully curated and eclectic shop of antiques, retro and vintage goods. Vendors are unique and offer goods at excellent prices, there's something for everyone. Friendly environment without pretention or pressure, a great place to dig for gems or find the perfect vintage clothes.
They had a limited selection of the vintage items i collect, so i left my card with Josh. He called me the next day with two! Plus checking out the unique stuff is an experience at this impressive local vendor mall. Be sure to stop in!

Beautiful antiques and Gina was very helpful and went above and beyond to help us. My friend uses a walker so we had a little trouble getting up the 3 or 4 steps to get into the store but it was well worth it! Great people, Beautiful inventory, A+ in my book.
1889 Salvage has a wide variety of interesting and cute things, such as locally made candles and body care products, vintage framed pictures and artwork, dishes, adorable decorative items, and vintage clothing. Venture downstairs and you will find all of the retro, vintage, and antique items needed to nicely stock a man cave. This is a geat store for finding that unusual item to complete your decor, or a fun, creative gift.
Love this store! Always find an awesome and affordable treasure that I can’t leave without! The staff are all wonderful! So friendly and eager to help! Totally worth the stop on your vintage treasure hunt!
Loved this store! The person behind the counter was polite and friendly. There was a large variety of items, well displayed, easy to get around and prices were fair. We didn't find a treasure on this visit but we'll be back.
Talk about customer service and fabulous finds 1889 has it all. The owner, Gina Campbell, has gone out of her way from appraising items for me and giving me a bit of history on them. Give yourself some time to explore this one of a kind.
Super cute store!! Very unique and lots of items. Most things are reasonably priced. It's a small buisness so you know your supporting the economy. Just a super cute place, loved the store, liked the prices.

Very nice people, answered all our questions and kept available but weren’t nosey. They have some pretty cool stuff. I was amazed at the prices for things. Their art is very reasonably priced and good quality. I recommend a look around.
From time to time my wife drags me into antique stores, I do like cool old stuff but for some reason I typically don't get super excited about it. But 1889 is pretty cool! Love the new location, clean & light, and it's a joy to get to speak with the people here.
Very creative displays with a large variety of cool unique vintage eye candy items to peruse!! Their new location with large parking lot rocks! Of course, the folks there were very helpful and enjoy sharing laughs! :D
