Called one day about roof rails pictured on a car, was told the entire car had been dismantled and put on the shelf to be parted out, so it was ready to go and they saved a quote. Called the next day to let them know we were on our way so they could pull our parts and put them in will call and when we were almost onto the freeway there from post falls they called us to say they had basically been seaechijg their lot and lost the entire car. Had no explanation for how they couldn't figure out what their coworker was seeing, was unwilling to re-look up the part, car, etc. Got upset instead of being understanding when I let them know we would not be driving all the way out there for another part that we didn't need, would just have been picking up because we were over in the area.

I went out to Spalding's with my 6 year old daughter to get what I thought was a "easy to find" part. Turns out I was wrong. The yard guy, Kyle Bouvier, searched row after row of trucks to no avail. I told him multiple times that we could throw in the towel and he told me "There's one here and YOU are going home with it". The last truck on his lengthy list was the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Kyle is a VERY hard working young man and his customer service is second to none. I have had a few rough encounters with snotty yard guys, but Kyle is a keeper. He was also very nice to my daughter and she said he's her "favorite truck dude". ......... Thank you Kyle!! 👍🏼

Spaulding auto parts has been a great place to buy used car parts at high quality for good prices, my dad has sold them multiple totaled vehicles, and got more than the insurance claim. Their shipping is great, I just recently purchased a part over the phone, super nice people, and not difficult at all to place an order. The part arrived the next morning. Over all, spalding auto parts has been a blessing, and to talk to someone, and know they are not ripping me off is much more reassuring than buying online .

I live in Indiana and purchased 4 wheels and tires. They were a great price and they shipped very quickly. I was provided a tracking number immediately. They arrived safely since they were packed so well. I noticed a small issue with one wheel and I reached out to Spalding and they responded immediately and went above and beyond to correct the issue and make things right. The negative reviews on here are so silly. This is an auto parts spot with the same prices as a pick and pull but they will do the work for you. Not to mention send it out to you. I can’t speak about the other workers. Corey was always available to help, and he did so from the first call to the end of our business together. He was way more knowledgeable, polite, and helpful than he needed to be. I left wondering what is the reason they are so especially helpful.

Don't buy any transmissions from them I have always liked and supported Spaldings but after this transaction I don't know how I feel. I purchased a used transmission from them to put into my car from them since mine blew up. Once I got a call from them I was excited since I was on the waiting list for a few months for the transmission. I was told that the trans was tested and was good to go so I picked it up and within 3 weeks found the time to pull the old unit out and install the new unit. Once it was installed I took it for a test drive and found that the car would not shift at all and was stuck in 3rd, come to find out that is limp mode and the trans was not acting properly. I went to Spaldings to talk to them about it and they said I needed to get it scanned by a shop since it could just need to be cleared to start acting properly, I took it to Aamco since they are close to my place and should be able to handle scanning a transmission. After it was scanned they found that the shift solenoid was not working properly and it needed to be replaced. For this part I feel Spaldings was helpfull and wanted the unit to work as they sent out another solenoid to replace the bad one as well and refunding me part of the unit but that is were it all turned the other way. After the solenoid was replaced Aamco found new codes and that 1st gear was slipping, after talking with them the only choice would be to rebuild the unit. Spaldings was ok with reminding me the cost of the unit that I bought but I had to pay the cost for Aamco to swap out the solenoid put new fluid in and pay for the diagnostic to find out that I was sold a bad transmission. All said I am out $950.00 by buying a transmission from Spaldings, I would say its not worth it I would be 1/2 way to a new rebuilt unit if I didn't try to get a used unit from Spaldings.

We came to get a transmission and there was some sort of confusion where we were quoted for another transmission. Once we arrived the price was completely different to what we had been quoted for over the phone. I live over an hour away, so After ordering my windshield online, I wanted to make sure that they had it ready for me to pick up. I called and no answer so I left a message. I waited a few hours and no call returned. Finally I called back and I was transferred to somebody and then to somebody else. Nobody answered and I was sent to a voicemail. I left a message and still did not receive a call back.. After 2 hours I was a little irritated so I had my husband call. After Just about the same process They finally told him that their guys attempted to remove a windshield and ultimately ended up breaking not one but two of them. My only option now would be to pay full price for a brand new one They would gladly have ready for me. My husband got off the phone, told me what they said and I immediately called them back. After being put on hold again The guy tells me that prices are prices and I would just have to pay. I argued that prices are what influences our decisions to purchase from chosen company and it is not my fault that they screwed up and they should still honor the same price. After a few minutes of this I was put on hold again for 10 minutes. Finally he came back and said he spoke with his manager and that they would give me the new windshield for the original price that I paid. I'm happy for how it turned out but it's a shame that I had to be a jerk in order to be appreciated as a customer. I'll still go there, I mean they are quite the useful joint. Hopefully they have better luck with choosing who they have removed their windshields for them.
