The team at Rockford Auto was very informative and quick with diagnosing problems with my jeep. They offered recommendations to fix problem areas, with several options. The transmission needed to be replaced, with parts not easily found. However, they kept me informed on their search, communication was great. Once the parts were located, the repairs were completed very fast. Highly recommend. Five stars for friendly service, communication, knowledge, quick turnaround, and location.
My truck broke down almost at their place. They were very good at getting it repaired. I had to leave it with them while I did a trip. They kept me informed and it was fixed when I returned a week later. Very nice group I recommend them for sure.
I blew a tire on hwy 27 with my kids and groceries in the car. I called rockford auto and they came to my aide immediately. Ive never in my life experienced such kindness. I am so grateful and thankful for what they did for me today. My car was towed and they were able to get a new tire on in an hour. It was truly incredible.
You guys are awesome! I totally appreciate that you guys truly try to diagnose problems, rather than immediately starting at the top of the list of what your plug-in diagnostic tool says, and proceeding down the list from there. Thank you for doing your best to keep costs down!

Electric window switch failed and needed attention as soon as possible. Rockford Auto got the vehicle in the next day, repaired in the time quoted and the cost was the affordable price quoted as well. HIGHLY recommend them!
We are a bit disappointed as we were told. This was a very good place to take my daughter’s car. And it was about an hour of looking at it, and they decided that they could not fix it and gave us a paper with some possible things that could be wrong with it and told us to take it to the Kia. Given what is happening, symptomatic with her car there is a list of things that it could be which I imagine would take longer than an hour to go through and figure out the real problem. We did feel like the making and model of the car affected proper diagnosis, and we feel that it was assumed that it must be a bad motor because it’s a Kia forte. We did call the Kia dealership and they said my daughter’s car is not included in the ones whereas they are supposedly replacing motors. So then we called another mechanic and they said that they don’t believe it’s the motor. It’s probably one of the things on the list. The problem with her car is that when she is driving, not Not on the highway, but in town, her motor were all of a sudden and die, but her lights will stay on the car, then starts right back up and continues on driving. This does not happen when she’s driving on the highway. This happens every single time she drives. The oil light also keeps coming on and off while she’s driving .We were hoping the vehicle could be fixed. But instead, we paid 160 proximate dollars for it to be looked at for an hour for us now to have to take it to another place an hour away a month out from now. Which will be the third mechanic we’ve had to take her car to. It seems like when there’s not a code to pop up to direct people want to pass the buck to somebody else. In this case, a code is not popping up when they put the code machine on the car. So I believe it’s gonna take hours of looking into to properly diagnose and then actually fix the car.
This mechanic said maybe it’s rod Bearing, They believe they saw metal particles in the oil and they think the oil pressure Is having issues. But they didn’t give us a quote to fix any of the above. $160 though…..
