Thought I found a nice place to get parts until I ran into the ladies at check out. I’ve bought parts their before and they never been asked which vehicle it came off of ? Well this time I can’t buy parts unless I give them the vehicle number. She could have easily looked up the vehicle but she makes a senior citizen with a bad knee walk a half mile back to the vehicle to get the vehicle number. I’m a little annoyed now and let her know how unhelpful she is being but she just get abusive. I’ll never go back !
fork lift guy has got to smashing the drivelines and wheels and underside of doors find some darn 2x4s and set it on the frames better.... jeez.. also gotta just go they dont' list every car they got on the website, tires and rims are expensive.. thats my only complaints other then that i like the place. oh one more just cause entering that plastic door screen is hazards almost took out and got takin out when entering and exiting that thing. (hidden entrance...) also you can't bring a dang jack to hold things up.... if needed... or so i was told. they also close to dang early imo.
It was the worst service I've ever got at any business. The workers were rude and the upper management and man that cuts the checks should just give up and retire if that's the way they want to treat customers.
If you need parts for your car and can't find it anywhere look no further this place has all make and models you can choose from and there cheaper then pick-n-pull and there are great people to help you find what you need
The entire team was very nice and professional and I dove 4 hours one way to purchase a 1885 Mitsubishi Starion and they also made the sale very easy and actually fun!
I love theses vehicles because my shop is one of the few shops left that work on these, and we specialize in restoring them!

really appreciate these guys - whether I am dropping off a water heater, or dumping a load of scrap metal, always fast, efficient, and happens to be only ten mins from me so always convenience for myself. Make sure you bring ID, as they do require identification to take any metal and issue you a check.
I was enjoying my time here and the people seemed friendly enough but after I left I realized I had been charged twice for a radiator when I had only bought one. The error occurred, I believe, because I bought the radiator and moved it out to my vehicle. Then I went back in and got a few more parts like the radiator support, AC, and some random wires. However, it was at this time I was charged again for a radiator. I realized this when I got home and decided to call them up and ask if I made a mistake or if I was actually charged twice for something.
I was, I thought, very polite and was in no way insinuating fault of anyone - I was simply trying to rectify a wrong if there was one to be corrected. The women I talked to made it sound like it was my fault and I should have informed them that there was no radiator the second time I was paying. Aren't you supposed to know the parts you're selling? Could I have just said I had a tire and been charged for just a tire? Obviously, that's a bit of an exaggerated example - but you get the point, I hope.
Then they said if I came back and showed them that there was no radiator they could give me back store credit for it. They made it seem like it should be no big deal for me to just turn around and drive back, which no, it wasn't but to drive back for a possible $40 store credit that I will never use because I won't ever be visiting again? Nah, I'll pass. How about recognizing when you made an error and make it right?
I run my own eBay store and I would NEVER even consider treating my customers in this fashion. Just wouldn't fly. I strive to make my customers happy, even if I sometimes feel like they might be overstepping a bit but it pays to make your customers happy because then you don't end up with bad reviews that make your company look bad. I wanted to like this place, I wanted to make repeat trips - but that won't be happening. Sorry, but customer service should be first and when you make a mistake you might need to take a bit of a loss but that's why you should strive to not make mistakes in the first place.
‘Amanda’ (employee) really needs some training in customer service. I called yesterday after learning that a car I sold braven months ago had been towed by north county who notified me the vehicle was still in my name and therefore wanted over $600 and wanted me to come get it! I called braven, fuming mad….however, I didn’t yell or cuss. Amanda kept cutting me off without allowing me to finish a sentence which only made me even angrier. I suggest people find a different place to sell their vehicles. No accountability seems to be shown by braven!
Do not use this place! They don’t transfer the title! Sold my car to them MONTHS ago and just got notice from north county towing that I have to come get the car! It’s not even mine anymore!
They scheduled a pickup of 1145 today not only have they not shown up but they seem to not be picking up my calls I don't understand why they do business this way I will not be going through them again this is just highly disrespectful especially since they are the ones that scheduled this even sent me a reminder that they will be here and they won't answer my calls
Braven Auto & metals came to pick up a junk car and the tow truck driver James showed up on time was fast at his job was kind and compassionate. There was a slight issue in James was quick to get on the phone and get it all figured out I couldn't have been more pleased I definitely didn't feel like this process was going to go so smoothly but definitely James made the difference I will be calling this company again soon because I have another vehicle that I need to get rid of and I'm hoping that I deal with Amanda the gal in the office who was also very kind and amazing and easy to talk to and deal with and James again of course!!
Called all day Saturday with no answer even after going through the steps online to get an offer and schedule pickup. I got a notification I’d get a call from them on Friday and they never called so I spent my Saturday calling them.
First time at this place and I will most certainly be back for funnsies and hopefully not similar circumstances; My window was smashed out and burglarized a day prior and I needed a quick repair. Saved me a lot of money and time to find the part I was after locally, instead of waiting 2 weeks for online delivery and price markup.
For a junk yard, Braven Auto had an enjoyable, and calm atmosphere.

Good Samaritan badge goes to a gentleman named Manuel for troubleshooting and helping me remove the window without power to operate the electrical! Circumstances and life trials might be an inconvenience at times, but it's the people I met today that make this experience all worth while. God is good!
100/10 absolutely fantastic!! Had them come and get an old junk box truck from my place in Mount Vernon. Truck was wedged between 2 buildings with very little to no clearance a James handled it like an absolute master!! No damage to the building truck or anything. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone and everyone without question.
They get extra points for being open late on Saturdays.
But they pay dog doo for bare bright copper wire.
Literally less than 2 dollars a pound when most places pay over 3 dollars per pound. Which cost then their 4th star.
OMG do not sell your car to this place! I went to the bank that the check was issued from and they just flat out said they won't cash checks from this company anymore. There own bank won't cash there own checks! The teller literally told me to try cashing it at a Fred Meyer but didn't seem very confident in my success in doing so and told me if they don't cash it either then I need to contact Braven Metals and work it out with them. I've never once heard of a bank refusing to cash a check written by one of there account holders since they should be able to view if the funds are available or not. They already took my car. This is turning into such a nighmare.
I have found this place to be one of the better priced places to find used parts.
I have gotten used tires from them on multiple occasions when I am in a money crunch to get me by until I can afford to go to discount tires & get all new tires.
The younger ladies that work the tills in the parts yard have been super helpful in the past especially when they don't have the specific interchangeable parts vehicle in the yard. In providing a short list of parts & how much they charge for them. As long as it's not crazy busy, an a huge list. you are kind & polite. They have always treated me with respect kindness & been super helpful.
Staff is great, Junk yard is setup so the car or cars with the parts you are looking for are rather easy to find, staff is helpful. The cars are setup safely and high enough up so that stripping them down does not mean bending over constantly. I was able to get good body panel parts, undamaged for most of the front end of my old battle wagon. Unlike other yards I have been to, the staff here does not damage the vehicles or parts on them, well, until they go into the grinder anyway. You want good used parts and body panels, this is the place to go first.
This place is amazing for a scrap/auto recycler!! Everyone is very friendly, and helpful.
The employees go out of their to make you feel welcome..Don't forget they have everything you need including the friendly folks at the tire shop!! Deep Discounted Tires mounted and balanced for a fraction of what the big tire boys want for them!!

Came in with a stuck lug nut and hard to remove secret lug nuts. I came in and they removed all of them and did not charge me. Highly knowledgeable and skilled!
I tried to go here to get some stuff to fix up my car. Seems like the owner is shady. When I was trying to get some interior parts for my car I saw someone going through my wheelbarrow. Asked him what he was doing, and he said it was ok, he's the owner. Asked him his name, because I didn't trust it. Apparently Jeremy, likes to take customers tools. I tried to complain to the cashier, but the guy with the red beard shrugged it off. I will never go here again, and will tell everyone I know to quit coming. This used to be a great place to get parts, but this new owner is a thief.
I am extremely happy with my experience here. I contacted NW Auto Recyclers / Braven Metals to remove two junk vehicles from my property. They got me on the schedule quickly, communicated throughout the process, then paid me well for both vehicles. The staff were friendly and attentive. I could not ask for more! Will definitely be using this company for future business.. I would recommend
Update: it's been a year since getting serviced by this shop and I still have had no tire issues! My car is still handling wonderfully!

My dad and I were greeted by a gentleman as soon as we pulled up. We were asked if we had been helped by two other people while we were waiting for the first man who greeted us to help us. He said he would be with us shortly from taking care of another customer (understandable) which surprisingly didn't take long.
We told him we were in need of two front tires. The employee, my dad and I walked around their used lot together and couldn't find any in a size that would fit my car.
We went inside and decided to consider ordering new ones. The employee was sooo helpful in working with us and looking up rates for us. The cheapest they quoted was to my surprise $80 per tire where Les Shwab had just quoted me earlier in the day $150 per tire for their most affordable option.
Ordering tires, I expected it would take a few days, but no. The employee had texted me the very next day to say the tires were in and I could come by to get them put on.
When I got there, he said it would take about 40 minutes to get them put on, but it only took 20.
Driving away from their shop, my car felt 1000x better than it did before I got there. What a relief!
I am really, truly impressed by their professionalism, helpfulness, knowledge, work ethic and sense of urgency for their customers.
If I could give 10 stars, I would. I highly recommend and for as long as Gunnar Auto Parts is in business, my car will never be taken to a crummy shop like Les Schwab again.

The prices are very reasonable. Where pick n pull is a good yard chain, NW / Gunner is a little more like a privately owned classic wrecking yard. I'm not saying your experience will match mine, but they don't overcharge for small plastic things, trims and such. Floor mats are reasonable. Seats are reasonable. Lights are reasonable. They aren't hiding anything. I really like Kathy who typically checks me out. She's kind, friendly and generous. I keep coming back, spending hundreds at a time grabbing parts for my old cars and for friends old cars. Been coming for years and really have no complaints! Grateful for your business, I'm sure it's not easy running a yard and complying with every little thing.
Went to the tire shop twice in one day. I needed a tire replaced on one car and I had tires for my truck I needed rims for it. I couldn't believe the price I paid and the time it took. Very fast works, knowledgeable and kind. It was a great experience for my first time there. They have my business for life here.
I've been to other pick and pull recyclers and this one is by far the best I've been to. The place is organized, clean, and every car is raised so it can be picked from. The owners charge reasonable prices and are very helpful. You can even search their website to know what cars they have before you go. It even gives you the VIN! Just be cautious not to confuse this place with another one as it is easy to hit the wrong one.
