Dustin did such a great job with my car. I needed to swap out the engine and replace the clutch and he went above and beyond making sure everything worked with the new engine. I will definitely be coming back for any future repairs with any of my cars.

As a woman traveling alone from out of state I was very nervous when my brakes suddenly needed to be replaced while I was visiting Mount Rainier. The other shops I found nearby had weeks long waits and reviews that made an out-of-towner such as myself VERY nervous. I found Dustin along my path and left him a message. He called me back in good time and worked with me to setup a time only a few days out (part of which was the weekend). He also helped me figure out exactly what was needed in the job and kept me regularly updated on estimated cost. During the work he, unprompted, showed me the old brake pads he had removed and compared them to the new ones so I knew what the difference looked like. When asked he also showed me the rotors and walked me through how they worked. He also showed me how to keep my own eye on the brake pad wear in the future and then went and taught me more about my brake fluid and how it fit into the equation as well. When I had some squealing he fit me back in immediately TWICE, working hard to ensure I could continue my travel plans as unchanged as possible. (The squealing was probably my fault and the other issue, while we thought it was related, was probably an animal or rock's fault and he found it and fixed it for me anyway.) He also warned me about the 2% extra charge for cards so that I could pay by check and save myself that little extra bit. If I had been staying in the area longer I would've asked him about my other little issues that I've been too nervous about getting ripped off with to take to other mechanics. Fantastic man, seems very honest with a great work ethic. I repeat: As a woman alone from out of state, I trust this man and felt my vehicle was very safe in his hands. Went to the Wilkeson location. Was able to talk to people over the weekend to get it set up to go in and am very happy with the work that was done. They are very straight forward. Fixing what needs to be fixed and not trying to up sell or lie to you.

As a senior lady it was comforting to know he made sure I understood everything that was happening and why. He didn't just fix the problem, but he made sure all associated systems were running well. Dustin is an excellent and honest mechanic that is trustworthy and really knows his trade. Finding a mechanic with those qualities is very difficult these days. I know because I was a self employed mechanic and started this line of work because I got tired of being and seeing friends ripped off. After a back injury it was very difficult to find a mechanic that would do what I no longer could! Dustin is that guy!
I'm so glad I found Dustin to work on my vehicles. I was in a rush to find a mechanic since my mobile mechanic canceled and had my car towed to Dustin place.Fixed my car in reasonable time. Got a newer car and had to get brakes replaced got in right away. Dustin even drove me to Starbucks while he he did them and picked me up when he did the test drive. Couple weeks later check engine light came on. Called Dustin told him the code, brought the car up, he checked it and and explained everything that needed replaced. Got car back in a few days and showed me the parts that were bad as well. Very honest and will only go to him for my repairs for now on. No more mobile mechanic plus Dustin was better priced.
Dustin is truly amazing. I was looking for someone to change my brakes ASAP and I found his shop through Google and read the reviews and figured I would go with him. He was able to complete it the next day and they are working perfectly. He even drove me and picked me up from the local Starbucks so I could work while he was working on my car. I was having some other engine issues and went back to him he ran a diagnostic and was able to complete the fix in a day. He is an amazing person and will definitely take care of you and your car. If I could give him ten stars I would. I will definitely be a life time customer and would recommend him to friends and family as well as anyone looking for a trustworthy mechanic. Thank you Dustin!

I had an excellent experience at Total Auto Repair. My first impression of their facility was the look of a very professional business that was extremely clean and well organized. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I came in for an oil change. They discovered a small oil leak and gave me a quote to fix the problem. The cost was extremally reasonable. I would recommend Total Auto Repair to anyone. I now have a dependable auto repair shop I can trust! I give them five stars.

We have been using Total Auto Repair since it was Total Auto Care.. even with the change of ownership, the service is outstanding. They always fit me in even if it's a last minute request. They are a no pressure and an honest environment. They are very detail oriented and make sure that whatever I need done gets done correctly and in a timely manner.
Had a good experience. The mechanic gave me rundown of what needs to be fixed. The turnaround time was quick. I lived near the shop and they also gave me a ride from home to shop as well which was awesome.
Absolutely amazing! Brought in my 2016 Chevy Corvette for an oil change and some diagnostic. They were able to quickly address the problems my vehicle had and offer the solutions I needed. Mark and crew offered amazing customer service and always kept me updated with the status of my vehicle. It’s hard to find honest, trustworthy mechanics! But after our experience with Dustin and Mark they’ve earned lifelong customers! Or at least as long as they have this shop open we’ll come back.
I took my VW Bug to a different mechanic and they gave me the run around. They didn’t properly diagnose anything, and they couldn’t figure out what was wrong, they lied to me about what the issue with my car was, so I told them I wanted to take my car somewhere else for a second opinion. And I'm really glad a family friend recommended Total Auto Repair! These guys knew what was wrong with the vehicle before I even dropped it off just based on the issues I described to them on the phone. I made an appointment about a week and a half out, but I asked if I could park it at their shop in the meantime. To my surprise, they started working on it immediately because they had free time, and it was fixed and finished before my original appointment. And this was a huge job, they had to completely dismantle my dash to replace the heater core. When I picked it up they showed me the faulty/clogged heater core, and pictures of the whole dash dismantled.
Thanks for the super quick service, and thanks doing a true diagnostic and all the hard work. My car is running great! I’ll recommend everyone to check out their shop. You can tell by walking in their business that they actually care about what they do.

Best service, my wife's Ford Escape gear shifter got stuck, call four Ford dealers earliest they can check and diagnostic the issue is Oct 15th. For Total Auto took only 2 hours to diagnostic, get the part and fix it. Thanks Dustin. I will definitely recomend them.
